At first I thought it was a hormonal temper tantrum. But then she started grabbing her hair. She literally started yanking it out and yelling make it stop! She started crying and screaming. It was awful. She ran to a wall and started pounding her head against a wall. Sandor and I ran towards either side of her. I picked her up like a baby. And I used my ability to make her stop pulling her hands up to her head.

"I got you, I got you," I whispered in her ear. I mouthed to Sander, call Elwin.

She was still crying. "Ma-ma-make it stop," She whimpered.

"Sh, it's ok. Elwin's going to come and help you," I said in a kind of soothing voice.

She started screaming all over again, "NO! NO! Get out! Get out! GEETTT OOOUUUTT!" She screamed, her voice was straining. Then she tilted her head back and flung it forward with full force, smacking me in the face. That made me let go of her. I immediately flung my hand to my head. She started running around looking for something. I ran up to her as she was trying to break the mirror. It must be really bad because I've got a feeling I know what she would have done if the mirror broke.

I gripped her tightly, "Sophie, it's going to be ok," I whispered.

"Please, make it stop," She said through tears. The pain and fear in her eyes was destroying me.

"How do I do that?" I asked quietly.

"By killing me," She whispered.

Just then Elwin bursts through the door.

"Grady, hold her still!" Elwin demanded.

"NOO! PLEASE! GRADY DON'T LET HIM HURT ME! NO! KILL ME! KILL ME! KILLL MEEE!" Sophie screamed. Then Elwin pinched her mouth open and forced down a serum that was probably a sedative.

We were all panting.

"What-pant-on  Earth-pant-happened-pant-here?" Elwin asked.

"I don't know," I whispered. We all just looked at Sophie.

"I'm hailing Alden though," I said. I quickly exited the now destroyed bedroom and whispered "Alden" Into my imparter.

"Hello, Grady?" Alden asked, a confused look on his face.

"It's Sophie, come quick!" I said as I ended the call. I swiftly ran back into the room, Elwin was already on it. Orbs flashing everywhere.

Then Alden came in, his eyes were wide in shock as he looked from Sophie, to the room, and back to Sophie.

"Elwin, can I read her thoughts?" He asked, Elwin gave a small nod.

Alden slipped in. Fitz must have taught him how to slip past her blocking in an emergency if he wasn't there. Alden started to tremble. His whole body was shaking. After he slowly lifted his fingers off of Sophie's temples, he turned to me. His face was a ghostly white.

"What did Sophie say to you before she blanked out?" He asked, his voice shaking.

"She asked me to um, kill her, in order to make it go away," I whispered.

Aldan didn't look at us as he said the words that would change everything, "That explains it. Sophie has unlocked her fifth ability, and it isn't a good one."
