I walked out of the apartment into the cold, brisk night air. Nobody was on the street because it was midnight. There was also a full moon. Some people are superstitious about werewolves and other creatures, but not me. I kept my head down and quickly walked to my destination on the sidewalk.

Almost there.

I wasn't afraid of anything out here, I was just worried that I wouldn't get there in time. After all, it's my first mission in a while. I know I'm being secretive, but I'll fill you in later. Right now I'm on a need-to-know basis. Once there I knocked on the door in the secret code, and they opened the door.

"You're late," he told me. "Next time, I expect you to do better."

I glared at him, even though the lights were extremely dim. My brother always thought that he could tell me what to do, even though I was the older one.

"Like you could do better," I snapped.

"Well, I'm here aren't I? Let's keep it moving."  We walked down a long hallway. The lights were turned on a little bit more, and I was able to see my brother. I tried to keep a straight face as we walked, but I busted out laughing.

"What are you wearing!? I had no idea that there was going to be a science experiment," I said in between laughs.

"Shut. Up," he said through gritted teeth. He was wearing his old lab coat from three years ago and a black T-shirt.

"What I'm wearing isn't important, what's important is that we both showed up. Now, we're almost there so be very quiet."

We reached a door that was partially open and pushed it all the way open. This mission wasn't too difficult, I thought. We were nearly finished. And then I saw it...
