In the middle of the room was what looked like a hostage a situation in progress. Two extremely tall and burly guys were standing in front of a person in a folding chair. One of the guards was punching the hostage. The person in the chair shook their head furiously.

"No! I won't do it! I won't tell you anything!" he cried. "You won't get away with this!"

Geo and I crouched down behind a couple of stacked boxes to assess the situation.

"How should we go about this? Do you want to do the Shake n' Sweep, Ninja Style, or the old Surprise Attack?" Geo asked me.

"Here's the plan. You go in from the right and distract the the guards. Then I come in from the left and take out the furthest one. You then take out the one closest to you. Okay?"

"Ummm, not to be rude, but you haven't been on a mission in a while. Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, it doesn't seem like the best idea," Geo replied.

"I know it's not the best idea, but we're kinda short on time. Do you have a plan?" I asked.

"No. But we could come up with something better."

"How, Geo? Are you gonna come up with something in 3 minutes or less?"

He shook his head.

"Okay, then. Let's do it," Geo said.

"Okay. Operation Hostage is a go."

Geo moved out from behind the box.
"Well, what do we have here? Is it a party? You know, I loved parties when I was a kid, especially in high school."

I started crouching and going towards the guards. C'mon, Geo. Keep them busy.

The guards turned to see my brother. "Who are you, and how'd you get here?" The first one asked.

"That's not important. What's important is that you are committing a crime right now."

"Oh, yeah? And what are you gonna do about it?" The second one asked, approaching Geo. "There are three of us and one of you."
I crept closer behind the first one.

"I'm not gonna do anything," Geo replied. "But she is."

As soon as he said that, I punched the first guard in the side of the head. He stumbled back, surprised, then he recovered. He ambled towards me and I stuck my leg out to trip him. He was prepared this time, and caught my leg. Next thing I knew, I felt a sharp pain in my side and I was the one on the floor.

Meanwhile, Geo was having a better time than I was. His opponent was on the ground and had a cut on his head. Geo was punching his side on minute, the next he was out cold. He came over to help me.

"Hey big guy! Pick on someone your own size!" He yelled.

Geo charged at the guard, who punched him in the face as soon as he got within arms reach. Geo stumbled and attempted to fight back.
This one is better than his partner.

Meanwhile, the hostage cheered us on. "Go, random people, go!"

I stood up as much as I could, then instantly regretted it.  The pain was ten times worse. It was probably a few broken ribs. I have to help Geo.

Geo was getting up and was about to punch the guard when the guard grabbed Geo by the throat and prepared to throw him across the room.

"Not so cocky now, are ya?" The guard chuckled.

Then the lights went out.
