We all sat around the table, Krystal and Snowdrop both staring at me intently.

"Ok who is shadowing death?" I asked, Krystal was the first to answer.

"He is the mutant that wants to rule the world and destroy all humans to create an only mutant world, but if he has to kill half a million mutants in the process he doesn't care." She looked at me almost wondering if I would stop asking questions and let time answer them, but no way would I if she should know one thing about me it should be that I am not the patient type.

"Would my parents have been mutants?"

"With your powers at least one of them would have to be, but both could be as well." Said Krystal.

"What are the other elements I will have to learn?" I asked.This time Snowdrop answered. "You have already learn metal and that's the sixth element, the first is earth, the second water, the third is ice, the fourth fire, and the fifth is air, but the power that you have is classed as the seventh element and you are classed as the elementor." Snowdrop almost looked proud of herself for answering all of the elements but then she began to continue."Most elemental powers come with a side power and you will have them as well for example you have telepathy from earth, but you will also have your very own unique power no one else will have not even other mutants that don't have an elemental power and it's different each time someone has the seventh element, it's just a matter of finding out what it is." She said, although now she was sad. I knew it was wrong to look into her mind then, but I did.

"You don't have a side power like the others do you? You only have the element ice don't you?" She looked at me sadly.

"Their is always one in the group of the six element controllers that don't have a side power, and that's me. On the plus side I have a stronger elemental power than the others, it was either give up my side power or only live until I was 13 and my parents wanted me to live longer, I also wouldn't have met you if I hadn't given it up." She said smiling although I knew it was fake, then she looked at the floor I could tell she was trying to hide her tears, but when she looked up they were only solid balls of water frozen at the touch of her skin.

"Why would you want some lousy old side power? when you have a stronger elemental power than the rest of us, you said so yourself." I said trying to cheer her up but she just walked off.

"How can we help her? She's so upset." I asked Krystal.

"Why did you go into her mind?" Asked Krystal she was mad this time.

"I didn't mean to make her upset, I only wanted to see why she was sad I didn't want to make it worse." I started to get upset.

"Look just like your sensitive when people don't mean to but make you feel like a science experiment again. When ever people mention that she has no side power it makes her upset as well." Said Krystal she was trying to make me see the point and it was working.

"I'm sorry Krystal, I didn't think it would have that kind of effect on her I didn't mean to." I tried to stay strong but now I felt like it was all my fault.

"I know you didn't mean to Emerald and so does she, but I'm just saying that you should be careful about what you say around her. Perhaps you should go and see if she is ok and say that your sorry, she's in the room upstairs." She said.

"Upstairs, in mums room." I said slowly and with an angry tone.

"Don't worry I have kept it the same, I mean a young girl leaving without a trace and without any stuff I knew that either you would be back or you had been taken by the military, and if you did come back I thought you might want the house to be the same." She said.

"How long has she been sleeping in mums room?" I asked still angry but now a little scared.

"Ever since you came." She said although not quite sure why I wanted to know.

"How long ago was that?" I asked even more fear spreading over me.

"About five days but you have been passed out for most of them." I ran up the stairs and reefed the door open, but all I saw was a bundle of weeds.

"Snowdrop." I shouted. "SNOWDROP." Krystal was not far behind me.

"Krystal do something,can't you control plants." I screamed.

"I'm trying but it is to strong, it's like their already being controlled by something." She said and was very puzzled.

"Snowdrop." I shouted again, then I gave up and used my powers to push the plants aside so I could get in, I still couldn't see her so I formed a knife I started to slice at the plants and soon I saw some movement and then some white hair I knew it was snowdrop, but at the same time it didn't feel like it was her, but I just pushed that thought away.

"Snowdrop, I'm coming." I said to comport her then I felt something tighten around my led and I was flung into the air.

I felt a rush of air stop my fall, and I was place on the ground carefully. "Step aside young lady." I heard a voice say but it didn't sound very heroic I turned around and saw a boy who was only about 15. I started to laugh. "Don't laugh"." He replied with a stern voice."at least I'm older than you." He said starting to get really mad at me, and when I finally stopped laughing I saw an air ball flying straight towards me, I panicked and put up a wall to stop the ball from hitting me. I put the wall down to find a stunned 15 year old staring at me amassed.

"But that's impossible your not James."

"Who's James."asked one of the new children.

"You will find out soon." I laughed "Now were was I? Ah yes."

"But that's impossible your not James." Be said obliviously thinking I was the guy who can control metal.

"No I'm not." I was starting at him and then remembered that I had to save Snowdrop.

"You have to help me save my friend." I said then I heard Krystal scream. "Better make that my friends." I said.

"But how will we get to them?" He asked.

"The same way I got to them the first time." I smiled at him as I lifted my hands and cleared a path again. I turned around and he was just standing their dumbfounded again. "Are you going to help me or not?" I asked but he just nodded his head and followed me in but soon we came to the end of the path because I couldn't split the path again and so I formed another knife and started to slice at the path. I turned around and saw him just following. "Can you at least act your age and try to help." I said to the boy, it must have snapped I'm out of a trance or something because all of a sudden he created winds to clear this scraps so I could see where I was meant to be cutting."Thank you." I Said and he smiled as if he did a lot if the work. I shook my head at Him and continued to cut the path, and he kept on creating winds to clear my path, again least it was actually helping.

"Krystal, Snowdrop. Where are you? Krystal, Snowdrop." I was starting to get worried

"Emerald we're over here, hurry I can't get Snowdrop out." Said Krystal.

"Their that way." Said the boy.

"And why should I trust you how do I know that your not lying i mean you did kinda try to kill me back their, and it sounded like it came from this way." I said pointing to the way it sounded like it came from although it just so happened to be the complete opposite way. I really didn't like how he barged into my house so I would take every opportunity to prove him wrong. And besides how did he know we needed help this deep In the forest it's not like anyone could be our neighbour so I didn't trust him yet.

"I have bat ears, and the sound is just echoing it's actually coming from over their." He said sounding proud of himself. I rolled my eyes and walked the way he was pointing, I may not want to follow him but he was my best chance at finding Krystal and Snowdrop.

"So how can you control metal." He asked, if he thinks he's going to get any information out of me he Is dreaming.

"Because I can." I wasn't turning back to look at him instead I just kept looking ahead.

"Do you work for the shadow keeper?" He asked, I was almost going to blow with the anger inside me for him even thinking that, and I so wanted to kill him when I heard Krystal talk.

"She doesn't work for the shadow keeper Lachlan, she is a friend and if you don't help us get her out I'll personally tell you who she is." Krystal said and she was using a very aggressive tone, I was almost scared and she wasn't even talking to me, he started to frantically clear the path for me. I was laughing inside but I didn't want to let a single giggle out incase Krystal heard me.

"Krystal keep on talking so that we can find you." I said to check how far away she was.

"Ok I'll keep on talking if you tell me one thing. HOW BIG IS YOUR MOTHERS ROOM?" She shouted.

"When the plant comes out I have no clue I only got stuck in hear once and I never came in again." I almost laughed out loud that she would ask that question.
