OMG I HAVE REACHED 649 READS, great now I feel guilty for making you all wait, I AM SO SORRY it was the end of the year and I had all of my tests and assignments to finish I just didn't have time, now that it's the holidays though . . . Hopefully I'll update more often, I promise I'll try as hard as I can to update more often but anyway here's another chappie, and the pic above is Emerald Wilson or in other words Mrs Everglades and it is how she looked during the first fight with SD (shadowing death for those who have not picked up that abbreviation yet.) and how she looked in the prologue when they were further in in the story. "Oh no not again." I said out loud as I saw Scarlet starting to float up in the air and nearly blinding us all from the bright light radiating off her body.

"Mrs Everglades help! I can't control it." I heard Scarlet scream, I ran over to her but I wasn't quite sure what to do, I don't know why but I felt like someone was draining my powers.

I couldn't piece together what was happening before I heard a terrifyingly familiar voice behind me. "Why hello Emerald, seems like you have made a new family hey?" The voice was practically dripping with venom, I convinced myself to turn around only to be faced with a clocked figure.

"No no it can't be happening." I said quietly.

"Oh but that it is, I am back and I am prepared to take my revenge, but I won't be easy to get rid of this time." He lifted his head up just enough so that I could see his sharp toothed grin underneath his hooded cloak.

I screamed the first name that came to my head, "LACHLAN!!" I turned around to see Scarlet on the ground unconscious and being picked up by Dax, everyone else looked over to me and the looks on their faces told me that I wasn't hallucinating. I looked towards the ground to see all of the shadows on the ground begin to move towards me.

It felt like everything was unfolding in slow motion, and I was frozen in place just watching everything unfold, but I wasn't frozen I was being held. SDs shadows were encasing my entire body restraining it so that I wouldn't be able to move an inch, forcing me to watch as he knocked down everyone that tried to help me.

I tried to scream, but no noise came out. Krystal started to run over, but she was walking, she was moving in slow motion, but Shadowing Death wasn't. I saw him move his shadows towards her, pushing her against the brick wall of my house, I started to feel my body shake uncontrollably. I knew what was happening but I couldn't do a thing about it, much like how I was watching my friends and family be beaten near death, much like the day I nearly saw Shadowing Death kill my parents. I felt that exact same anger surge through me, I could hear people shouting, I was guessing it was my name but I could only hear one voice right in my ear. "That's it, loose control of your power, build it all up with your anger as you see your friends get hurt and you not being able to do anything. This is what I want, once you loose control I can take it all away, for good this time." I could hear his murderous laugh ringing in my ear. Then I could feel the power weakening, I closed my eyes so I couldn't see the scene In front of me, I lost my anger not being able to see what he was doing, I wasn't mad if I didn't see it happening because that meant that it could all just be a dream.

"No NO how are you getting control over your anger? Your friends are nearly dead, and and your calming down, no you bitch get angry, let me absorb your power. LET ME ABSORB YOUR POWER!" SD screamed into my ear his voice leaking with venom. Then I felt a sharp pain in my neck as I gasped. "Fine then, if your aren't going to give me your power I'll kill you!" He growled through gritted teeth.

I could feel the darkness taking over, first it was just black spots dancing across my vision, then it slowly engulfed my vision, but before I lost it completely I saw a bright light, Scarlets light. She is one of us, she is the light to beat the darkness, she is the last person we need to be able to kill Shadowing Death. He is darkness, she is light, she is our last hope, before I fell into the world of darkness I screamed out what I knew was our only hope. "PROTECT SCARLET. SHES THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN STOP SHADOWING DEATH PROTECT HER!" My head went limp as I lost all control over my body, I was just hoping, praying that they would protect Scarlet, if they saved her, we would all be saved.

~Scarlets POV~

I wasn't quite sure what was happening, I could see what I was doing, but I didn't know how I was doing it. I saw the light coming from my outstretched hands pierce through who I now knew to be Shadowing Death, I knew that Mrs Everglades was actually Emerald, and I from what I had heard before Emerald lost consciousness I was the last hope. I closed my eyes, I could hear SDs screams echoing, I knew that if he wanted to live he was going to have to leave soon. I didn't know how, but I could feel him dying, in my mind I was telling him to die and for some reason his body was listening, it was like I could control death, like I had his life in my hands. I finally opened my closed eyes to see the shadowed figure in front of me, completely consumed by darkness, but light from me surrounding it, and it was fading.

It was about to fully disappear but then I felt something in my stomach, I looked down to see a thick crimson liquid gushing out of a hole, it took me a while to realise I was staring at myself, I looked up at the now mist like figure as it spoke. "A parting gift, until we meet again." He smiled at me before disappearing, I looked down at my stomach again and put my hand over the hole as I fell to the ground. I could hear people coming over to me, but there was also a ringing in my ear, I could hear them saying something, but I couldn't make it out, I could see all their worried faces looking down at me . . . But soon it was just black.

Omg this is bad, is the angry mob banging on my door you people, I am so sorry I will make this happier . . . Okay I probably won't for a while but it will all work out, now please stop your scaring me . . . Thankyou, but I'm gonna guess you want me to get back to this story now? Well I am sorry to inform but I am having a bit of trouble writing this story at the moment, if you know what I mean somtimes you just can't write on a specific story, so I encourage you to check out some of my other stories if you can, I am writing them at the moment and should hopefully get back to writing this one soon, but I guess in a way it's on hold.

Don't worry this will probably only last a few weeks then I'll be writing again, but I am just saying so you don't wonder why I am not updating.

Also sorry if there is any bad grammar or spelling but I am writing this at 12:00 so I think it can be accepted.
