"James stop that, your hurting Charlie." I shouted.

"But Mrs Everglades I'm not even near her, how could I be hurting her." He grinned, and I just smiled back.

"James I wasn't born yesterday and I have been taking care if you for years now . . . I know." I glared at him.

"Im sorry Miss." He sighed.

"Now than, can I continue my story?"

"Yes Miss." They all said, but my eyes were fixed on the girl with the gloves on. I walked over to her.

"What's your name?" I asked her as she looked at the floor, she looked up startled.

"Oh um, My name um, is it is Scarlet." She smiled at me, but not a happy smile more of a fearful one. I started to laugh at the fact that she had dark red streaks in her hair and was wearing scarlet clothes, and her name was Scarlet.

"Would you like me to continue the story?" I smiled at her.

"Oh um yes please." She looked back at the floor again as if it was more interesting down there than around her.

"Ok than where was I . . . Oh yes."

"You are aren't you?" They both started at me, I didn't know what to say and looked away from the lady to face Snowdrop.

"What were you talking about before, about me being a mutant or something."

"You two are mutants?" Questioned the lady.

"No no we're not mutants, why would you think that?" Snowdrop said trying to laugh as if it was a funny joke. I turned back to the lady 'what Is it about that lady's stare that's familiar, what's that in my head? Who's their?' I asked myself but at the same time I felt like I was asking someone else.

"Ok for one thing girl I am not a lady, my name is Krystal." She then turned to Snowdrop. "And don't bother trying to lie to me I can see the truth." Snowdrop and I both stared at each other.

"But Emerald didn't call you a lady." Said Snowdrop with a stern look on her face.

"Yes I did, I did I said it in my mind, and as I did I could feel something no it was someone in my mind, that was you wasn't it?" I asked turning to who I now know as Krystal.

They both looked at each other and then looked at me. "Your not supposed to feel the presents of a telepath in your mind." Snowdrop said to me, and then she turned to Krystal "you your a mutant as well why were you acting so, so human?" Asked Snowdrop, she almost seemed to be questioning what she was saying.

"Because lately the military who want to destroy all mutants." She looked over at me to see my confused face. "You would know them as scientists." She then turned back to Snowdrop."lately they have been sending out mutants to kill other mutants, it's their secret weapon." Krystal said.

"Then why did you let us know you were a mutant so easily?" Asked Snowdrop.

"Because if you get a nice mutant who actually feels compassion they'll let you go and say no one was there." She looked at the floor obliviously bothered by something.

"But why would they show compassion if they are getting well paid for the job? And wouldn't they have a chance of getting killed I mean if they say that wouldn't they then sent out another mutant just I case they were lying, and then if they were not only the mutant they were trying to protect would get captured but they would get killed." Snowdrop said angrily, obviously not wanting to believe what Krystal was claiming.

"Because they were captured just like we would be about to be so if you show them that you are a mutant they might leave, and if not you just pulled yourself into certain death. Before you ask why you would take that risk it's because if you don't you will get captured either way because the mutants that are helping other mutants by capturing normal people to help it seem as though it is normal." She turned to me.

"By the looks of it they tried to make you one of their slaves but after a while gave up because they could see that you were just too powerful to control." Snowdrop and me looked at each other.

"What are you talking about?" Asked Snowdrop taking the words right out of my mouth.

"Don't tell me you couldn't feel the connection between you two?" She looked at us almost knowing the truth before we said it, although she probably did.

"Yes." We both said.

"But why?" I asked she gave a little chuckle. "I can't believe that you didn't pick this up princess Snowdrop, you both share the same element."

"But only one person can hold an element at a time, unless you can hold all six elements." She started to slow down as she got to the six elements.

"Ok your a princess? What are the six elements? And why the hell do I feel a connection with the both of you? ok why is that?" I asked them both.

"Wait a minute you feel a connection with her as well but that means that you have an element as well. What element do you have?" Asked Snowdrop.

"I am the 1st element controller of earth." Krystal said proudly.

"Ok but why do I feel a connection with the both of you?" I asked.

"You know how I just said that the scientists probably left because they couldn't control you?" She asked me.

"Yes."

"We'll they couldn't control you because-because you are the one person in the world at this moment that can control all six elements that was why you could feel the presents of me in your mind when you shouldn't have, and why you can feel a connection with Snowdrop and me, you are more powerful than all the mutants combined, and once the scientist would have found that out they ran away, because they were scared that you would find that out and that when you did you could practically snap your fingers and they would all be dead. Although they didn't know that you would have to learn the elements from all the other controllers." She said although I didn't know what she meant by learning all the elements from the others that control them.

"Does that mean that I'll have to teach her how to use ice and you earth?" Asked Snowdrop.

"you and me yes, but there's one of the elements that we won't have to teach you is there Emerald." Krystal was looking me in the eyes when she said that.

"When you say that do you mean I can already control metal?" I asked but was now terrified to use it because it could be used to kill someone.

"Yes that is what I mean but you don't have to worry about hurting anyone close to you I am a healer, and you also have telepathic powers I can feel it but you already know that don't you? You were using it on the scientists to try and find out why you were having experiments done on you" she said.

"Yes I did try it, it never worked though how did you know? Oh right you were in my mind again weren't you?" I asked but I knew she had been.

"Anyway I am glad that you already know how to control metal because James just got captured by Shadowing Death so he can't teach you, but once you have mastered earth and ice we will go and find the other three elemental controllers. And they'll teach you but, we'll also need others to help us defeat Shadowing Death." Said Krystal.

"you get some rest, and once you feel up to it come out and well get started."

"Mrs Everglades why would she have to rest? I mean she was unconscious so she would have basically been asleep." Said a boy.

"Well jack when she said rest she meant relax, calm down, and even think about what has been said to her."

"But Mrs Everglades why would she have to think about what has been said to her I mean it's not that hard to understand."

"It may not be hard to understand, but it sure is hard to believe isn't it?"

"Oh ok then, sorry for interrupting Mrs Everglades."

"It's okay would you all like me to continue now?"

"Yes Miss." The whole class said, except for the girl with the gloves what was her name again oh yes Scarlet. Once again she's just looking down at the floor.
