The house was silent for a long time you could hear the clock ticking sometimes I could even swear that I could hear Snowdrop fumbling her fingers together, until I finally broke the silence by sparking up a conversation.

"Look if you want to ask me a question, ask it now before I start ripping shreds off of Krystal again." I smiled at her, trying to loosen the mood although it didn't work very well.

"Well, um . . . What was you childhood truly like, I mean you never told me properly in the woods, and I didn't think it bothered you that much until now. Not trying to favour Krystal's side but she's right you still have your demons from your childhood and their pulling you back into hell when you can come straight back out now." She was saying slowly as if I would lose my temper again with her just like with Krystal.

"Well before I tell you, I am trying to get away from my demons you have no idea how hard I am trying, but somehow they always seem to catch up and shove thoughts into my head again." I said but stopped.

"And your past?" She asked.

"Well I don't remember a lot about my parents, hell I don't know anything about my parents except for the pictures I have seen and that they were never around. Then came a couple of random people one being Lachlan's mother and another Krystal. Later came the scientists who took tests on me, then when they left I ran thinking they would come back then I came across you and you know the rest."

"So a very simple to explain yet complicated life hey, I never though I would see the day someone would have a life like that, but now I have." She smiled at me.

"Yes, now you have, and I might be the only person that you will ever meet with that kind of life."

"Possibly, but you never know what the future will hold."

"I guess so, but you don't know what won't come as well, so it can go either way." We both smiled at each other.

"So then can you get rid of these vines so I can see what you guys are doing?" I asked her.

"Nice try but I'm supposed to be giving you company not let you over the other side while Krystal is finishing up."

"fine, but can you at least tell me what is going on?"

"No and don't even think about going into my mind, Krystal has sealed it off, it will only hurt you." She smiled a me.

"Fine." This time I didn't try to find a loophole to what was happening because I knew Krystal had though of everything to stop me from finding out, why? I didn't know. Then again I can at least try and get some information.

"Why can't I know about it?" I asked her.

"I never said you couldn't know about it at all you just can't know about it yet, the best part is that you won't be able to guess it so I could give you so many hints and you won't have any clue what I am talking about.

"Try me." I said challenging her.

"Well I just gave you two hints if you actually use your brain to figure out what they are."

"Hey that's not nice, i do have a brain."

"I never said you didn't I just said that you weren't using it to figure out what clues I am giving you to the surprise." She smiled.

"Well it would help if you gave me more clues."

"I did just give you another one."

"Another what?" I asked confused

"Another clue as to what a special day it is today." She said laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked angrily.

"Because I just gave you four clues and so close to what Krystal is doing down there and you can't figure it out."

"Hang on a sec you only gave me three clues." I said to her trying to prove her wrong.

"No I have squeezed another clue somewhere and you just didn't notice again."

"Oh come on how well can one person hide four clues so that I don't even notice them?"

"Apparently very easily." She smiled at me but I just glared at her.

"Well I am not giving you any more, because if I do then it will just give it away entirely" Snowdrop replied.

"Fine then, but your the one that is being mean, not me." Said trying to make her feel guilty, although I don't think that it worked.

"Nice try, but I'm not being mean, I'm just doing what someone else wants me to do, why don't you tell me how you actually figured out how to control earth?" She asked.

"Well I just thought that I could control earth but it didn't work, because I still had doubt that I was the elementor but then I thought that if I wasn't the elementor then I was a nobody and it just happened."

"I know that but I am meaning who helped you?"

"If I tell you, will you tell Krystal?" I asked her.

"I guess that I could keep just this one secret from her." She smiled at me

"Well . . . Lachlan helped me."

"But he left ages ago, and he wouldn't return without telling Krystal."

"When did I ever say that he came back." I smiled at her again.

"Please tell me that you didn't call him? Do we even have a phone in this house?" Snowdrop asked fear lacing her voice.

"No, do you really think that I am that stupid? Actually don't answer that, but still if I did then that would just be asking for trouble on Lachlan." I said, almost hurt that she would think that about me

"Well then how you got into contact with him?"

"I can't tell you, he didn't tell me I could otherwise he would have told you when he was leaving, because that's when he kind of showed me how to contact him." I replied.

"Wait so he told you how to contact him when he was leaving?"

"Well not exactly, he told me I would know when I needed to and I figured it out when I needed his help with controlling earth." I smiled at her

"But he would have told you that it plain sight how could we not tell that he was telling you something?" She looked at me oddly, honestly confused as to know he could have managed that.

"Well it was when he was hugging me goodbye, so I guess you just thought that was all he was doing."

"Oh."

"So that's what he was whispering to you." I jumped as I turned to see Krystal appear behind me.

"Why were hiding behind me?"

"I thought it was impossible to sneak up on a telepath?" She smiled at me.

"Don't test me, I still have mixed feelings about you!" I said gritting my teeth but before I could stop myself I pushed my hands towards her and saw a storm of vines swift around her, restricting her. I wanted to stop, yet at the same time I wanted to keep going to let all my anger out on her, but before I could make up my mind I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck, before falling to the ground and clutching the back of my head.

"Why would you do that?" I turned to face Snowdrop and saw her with a chunk of ice in her hand of which I assumed was what I had been hit with.

"Well I couldn't very well let you strangle Krystal." I turned back around to see Krystal clutching her throat and gasping for air.

"I'm so sorry Krystal, I didn't know what I was doing. Well I did, but It wasn't me that was doing it. Well again it was, but I didn't mean to . . . And this could go on forever. Ok I'm sorry I knew what I was doing but I didn't want to stop, I don't know what came over me!"

"It's alright, I sought of know what happened." Both me and Snowdrop stared at her.

"What do you mean you sought of know what happened?"

"Well you see . . ."

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Sorry kids but I think that's the end of the story for today, I jumped over all of the kids before coming to the door and opening it to see the one person I least expected.

"Ruth, what are you doing here?" I turned to see Scarlet behind me.
