It was a warm and sunny Monday morning in Middleton. The bright sunlight shone through the window of a large brown house with a pool in the backyard. Inside of that house was a beautiful blue paint with a sleeping Raiden in the bed.

Raiden let out a loud yawn as he woke up to the bright sunlight shining on his face and the beeping of his alarm clock going off.

"Today's the day of my first day at my new school," He sat up in bed, revealing his messy pale blue hair as he shut off his alarm clock.

He then started to pull off the covers and stretch his arms, letting out another yawn as he climbed out of bed in his black pajama shirt and shorts and headed toward the bathroom to shower for his first day of school.

It was about ten minutes later when Raiden walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around the waist of his wet blue body as he stood back in his bedroom.

"That was quite the refreshing shower," He commented as he walked over to his closet and pulled out a pair of clothes.

He wore a black short sleeve shirt underneath a sleeveless dark blue vest and green pants. He then headed downstairs to eat a delicious breakfast.

It was around ten minutes later when Raven had pulled up to the curbside of Middleton High School. She reached into the passenger seat and grabbed a black and red backpack, and headed it to Raiden.

"Here you go. I have pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks, and folders packed inside," Raven said, holding out the bag for Raiden.

"Thanks, see you after school," Raiden said, opening the car door and putting his backpack on his back.

He waved bye to his mom before shutting the car door.

"No problem, my little prince. Have a good first day," Raven smiled softly.

Raiden nodded and waved another quick goodbye to his mom as he started walking toward the entrance of his new school. He could hear people talking and see them looking at him as he walked by the other students who arrived at the school.

"Hey, it's that boy from last Friday," an orange-haired girl said, walking by with two blonde hair girls.

"I know he looks even better than Brick Flag," One of the blondes said."I wonder where he comes from."

Raiden blinked, not expecting to have so many girls fan over him. He could only imagine how they would react if they knew what he really looked like instead of the form he was in now.

'Well, apparently, I look better with a blonde than the old black hair I had before. The same face just changed my hair color and eyes.' Raiden thought, sending the girls a smile and making them blush.

Raiden was now standing in front of a white locker that said 125 and looked at the schedule with his classes and combination on it and opened the locker. He spotted inside History, Science, English, and Math textbooks. He glanced at his schedule and saw his first class was Math after homeroom.

"So I have math class first after homeroom," He commented, taking out his math book and sticking it into his bag as he shut his locker, getting ready to find his homeroom class.

As he closed his locker, he heard two voices nearby. He noted that one was the girl Jasmine he met on the day he moved to Middleton, and the other was a long raven hair boy who seemed to be arguing.

Raiden noted that the boy wore a black jacket over a black shirt. He was also wearing grey jeans and blue grey shoes. The outfit was giving him real emo and harsh guy vibes.

'I wonder if their friends are something. Though it seems like enemies with the heated argument therein now.' He thought as he stared at them cautiously.

"Richard, your beha..." Jasmine was interrupted by the harsh glare in Richard's eyes.

"My behavior! You're the one going around being a jerk, Jasmine!" Richard stated with his arms crossed.

"That is not true, and you know it," She replied with narrow eyes.

"I can't deal with you anymore, having you flirt with other guys!"

Raiden saw Jasmine's eyes widen as she heard his words. He hadn't been in much of a relationship due to the struggles of dealing with the human and mutant issues, and he just hadn't found anyone he was interested in dating.

"What are you saying?" She asked.

"We are so done, Jasmine," Richard said as he started to walk off carrying his sports bag."Go flirt with every guy you want."

Raiden looked at Jasmine momentarily, watching her clench her fist in anger before he went to find his homeroom class.

Kim Possible was beautiful red hair and free eye girl who was a cheer squad member. She was in her homeroom talking to her best friend, Ron Stoppable.

The class was full of students. There was brief chattering about Jasmine and Richard breaking out and the handsome boy Raiden that showed up today in school. Jessica, a cheer squad member, rushes into the room, gossip about Jasmine and Richard spread all over the school, and questions about the new boy were going around.

"Hey Jessica, what's up?" Kim asked, noticing that her cheerleader friend had arrived. She took a seat at the open desk next to her.

"I just saw the attractive-looking blonde boy arrive, and serious gossip involving Jasmine and Richard is going around," Jessica said.

"You mean the boy everyone was muttering about that came here Friday after school?" Kim asked."And what happened with Jasmine and Richard?"

"Yeah, if you saw him, you be talking about him as well," Jessica commented."Also, Jasmine and Richard broke up," She said.

Kim's eyes widened in surprise at that announcement. She knew Jasmine had been in love with Richard since they met in middle school.

"I knew her dating him wasn't a good idea. That boy is a real jerk," Kim sighed.

"KP, everyone knows that it is impossible to reason with Jasmine when she feels emotionally strong about something," Ron stated.

"We should go check on her. I make sure she is okay," Kim said, standing up, but before she could leave, Mr. Barkin walked into the room, telling the teens to stop talking.

"All right, people, listen up; Ms. Willson just called in sick. So I'll be your homeroom teacher this morning," Barkin said as he spotted Jasmine walking into the room and making his way to his desk."Ms. Florence, you're on my time, meaning you're late."

"Sorry, Mr. Barkin."

"Detetinon after school."

"Of course," Jasmine nodded and sat behind Jessica and Kim.

"Now, where was I? That's right; I have an important announcement. We have a new student joining us today. Students give Mr. Darkholme a warm welcome."

The first thing the whole class noticed was when Raiden walked into the room. It was his smooth, creamy skin and slightly muscular chest. His long blonde hair bangs touching his forehead and framing the sides of his face perfectly. A bright smile shined to light showing off his cheekbones as he looked around the classroom.

He glanced at Jasmine and smiled as he took the empty seat beside her, placing his bag near his feet.

"Hi there, blossom," He greeted her with a smile loving her hair color.

Jasmine smiled faintly with a blush at his nickname for her.

'I just got dumped by Richard. I shouldn't be blushing like this. Though he is pretty attractive, besides Roy left me just because I was hanging out with my cousin who came to visit for the weekend, and he decided to believe that I was flirting with his lying bestfriend.' Jasmine thought, looking at Raiden before turning back to face the front.

"Mr. Darkholme, come up here and introduce yourself to the class and tell us a little about yourself," Mr. Barkin called out.

Raiden stood up from his seat in the row behind Kim, Ron, and Jessica and stood in front of the classroom while the other students stared at him. As the new kid, they were studying him closely.

"Got to admit that boy could be a jock. He is definitely muscular," A boy known as Josh Mankey commented.

"I don't see why everyone was talking about him. He is not even that good-looking," A boy who resembles Jasmine said, sitting next to Josh, rolling his eyes at the girls looking at Raiden.

"Who is that?" Ron questioned.

"Ron, that is the new boy. Pay attention," Kim said as she glanced at Jasmine, who had a hint of anger in her eyes from her breakup with Roy. However, they soften slightly at the sight of Raiden's figure.

Shen turned her attention back forward as Raiden ran a hand through his hair."He does have nice hair."

"Hello, my name is Raiden Darkholme," He introduced himself."I moved here Friday from Bayville, Massachusetts, with my mom."

"Wait," Ron said, stopping Raiden from talking further."Isn't that where a big news announcement took place, revealing mutants? People are saying human or monster freaks."

"Yeah, that was a couple of years back, blonde. I wasn't too close to any of them except for one, but things are a bit more settled; not perfect, still a rough life for the mutants, but that life for everyone different," Raiden stated, recalling the protest that stood outside of there old home saying we hate mutants leave Bayville.

"Cool, which one did you know?" Ron asked.

"Stoppable, that extra homework for talking. Could you do it again and detention!"

"Ah, man, not again," Ron whined, causing everyone to laugh at him.

"Now, enough of that drama back home. I'm fourteen years old and the son of the old principal of Bayville High, but now a child psychiatrist," He continued."I haven't seen much of Middton yet been helping my mom unpack, but looking forward to exploring Middleton."

"Thank you, Mr. Darkholme," Mr. Barkin said."You may sit back down now."

"Yes, Barkin," Raiden said as he returned to his seat next to Jasmine.

There was mumbling as the class talked amongst themselves after Raiden was done talking.

"He seems cool but definitely was keeping something hidden when you mentioned the mutant report. He didn't even say which one he knew," Kim commented, leaning close to Ron.

"Relax, Kp; he probably didn't want to make things worse than they are for his friend," Ron replied.

"Hi again. Nice to see you again, and don't mind, Kim. She is a nice person, just concerned easily," Jasmine said softly.

"Thanks, I understand her concern about me hiding something, but I have reasons," He replied."Nice to see you again too.

The class then settled down as Mr. Barkin started to take attendance before the morning announcements were given.

Raiden's morning classes went by without any problems, and his teachers had been okay so far. Mr. Barkin was strict but wasn't a lousy homeroom teacher as a substitute.

He was now in the cafeteria, looking at a lump of mushy brown pasta. That seems like a failed attempt to make spaghetti. He couldn't help it think about Jasmine and Richard's argument from earlier. She looked hurt by his harsh words.

'I don't know her for real, but seeing her hurt like that doesn't sit well with me. I wonder if there is anything I can do to help her feel better.' He thought as he walked around, trying to find a spot to sit at.

He was so deep in his thoughts that he bumped into someone, nearly dropping the tray. He quickly balanced himself and looked to see a tan skin girl with brown hair standing in front of him.

"You, that new boy Raiden," She said."You should be more aware of your surroundings," She commented, walking past him with a huff.

'That girl has an attitude problem. She reminds me of Rouge with that attitude.' Raiden thought in annoyance at how rude Rogue was when they first met as he found a spot at an empty table in the back of the cafeteria.

"Your Raiden, the new boy who started today, right," A familiar female voice asked behind him.

Raiden turned around to see Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable standing behind him, holding their lunch tray.

"Yes, that's me. Can I help you two with something?" He asked curiously as both of them sat down at the table.

"No, we don't need anything. Just figure you could use some company sitting all alone," Kim smiled as she sat next to Raiden.

"Kp right about that; sitting alone is no fun," Ron agreed, sitting beside Kim.

"I see. Well, thanks for being so kind to join me, even when you barely know me," Raiden said.

"No big, the name is Kim Possible," Kim said.

"Ron Stoppable," Ron introduced.

"Raiden Darkholme, as you already know from earlier in homeroom. Nice to meet you, Kim and Ron," He smiled before eating some of his pasta.

"Well, Raiden is looking forward to getting to know you," Kim said, intrigued with him so far.

"I'm sure that can be arranged, but there or somethings best left hidden wouldn't want to ruin the fun of discovering my mysterious secrets," He chuckled but deep down knew he couldn't let them know he was a mutant like on the news report."So what the deal with the talk about a guy name Richard breaking up with Jasmine?" He asked, wondering what the deal was with the Richard guy already knowing who Jasmine was.

"Ah, Jasmine is an old friend from first grade and a theater member. She was the one who you sat next to. While Richard is one of the jocks, he mostly plays Basketball, but he did football and baseball in Middle school," Ron explained.

"Yeah, and he's also a huge jerk, probably the meanest of the jocks," Kim stated.

"I see. I wouldn't mind getting to know Jasmine more. She seems like a wonderful girl," Raiden said, looking around for Jasmine in the cafeteria.

"I'm sure she would like that as well. Sadly she is not here at the moment. She wanted to be alone in the bathroom for a few minutes," Kim said.

"Understand," Raiden said softly as he continued to eat his lunch in silence.

Raiden was leaving his history class and headed to his locker to grab any of the books he needed to take home to do his homework. The school day was now officially over.

The first day wasn't too bad. He has had some decent teachers so far. He doesn't know them fully yet, but they seem nice, and the only rude person he has met so far is Bonnie.

He was almost to his locker when a voice called out to him.

"Hey, new boy!"

Raiden turned around to see Richard behind him.

"What do you want? If nothing, I would prefer to grab my belongings from my locker and meet up with my mom outside."

"Yeah, you think you can just waltz in here and steal my girl from me?" He asked, grabbing Raiden's shirt.

"I didn't steal your girl if I recall; you dumped her this morning near my locker," Raiden commented, smacking the hand off his shirt."I was simply talking to her to make her feel better. You're the jerk, not her," He started to walk away.

"She the one going around cheating on me!" He snapped.

"You sure are? Are you just listening to rumors instead of getting the truth from her?" Raiden asked, giving Richard a brief glance, before ultimately leaving his sight.

"Hey, thanks for that back there," Jasmine said, running towards Raid at his locker.

"No trouble. The guy had it coming with his attitude," Raiden replied, putting his History book in the bag and his Math book in as well as he shut the locker.

"Maybe this weekend we can hang out," She said, holding out an index card."Call me if you're available to hang out this weekend."

"Will do, Jasmine. Have a good day," He said, taking the card and heading off to walk to his mom's car.

Raiden arrived outside to see his mom waiting for him in her car. She wore a doctor's coat over a red shirt and white scrub pants.

"Hey, little Prince," Raven greeted as Raiden entered the car, placing his bag on the floor."How was your first day?" She asked as she drove off once her son was buckled in.

"It was good. The teachers seem nice so far. I talked to three of my classmates and have a jock who claims I stole his girl from him, but he dumped her, and I was cheering her up," Raiden replied."I have math and history homework today."

"That sounds like an excellent first day, but don't bother with the jock. It's his loss if his ex-girlfriend falls for another guy. I'm sure he dumped her for no reason," Raven said."If you need help with homework, let me know, or have one of your new friends help you."

"Well, I did get one of my classmate's numbers after calling her jock boyfriend a jerk for dumping her for a rumor that she was flirting with another guy," He said, looking at the card.

"Ah, he's one of those guys believing rumors over his girlfriend. I hope you don't plan on dating her any time soon after her breakup."

"Mom, you know I'm not like that. Besides, I barely know her. She just wants to hang out as friends over the weekend."

"I'm messing with you. You're too sweet to rush a female into a relationship after a bad breakup. Let's head home and then go out and do something since I'm done with work for the day."

"Sounds good to me," Raiden smiled, looking forward to seeing what Middleton had to offer with his mom.
