It was my birthday and I was so happy to accomplish my dreams of being a Scientist. I attended college for 4 years before they saw serious potential. I graduated quickly and was now a full-time scientist at Evotec Biologics in Seattle Washington. As we all know though life doesn't always go as planned.

I was working on this experiment to take out diseases put into a human heart. If you got heart disease it would be your cure. I was just about to put the needle of the small syringe into the heart which had heart disease when my fingers slipped and the needle fell stabbing me in my upper thigh.

The liquid drained into my leg and I had no idea what it would do so I waited a few minutes. I wasn't sure what it had done, would it be catastrophic? I had come to America to get away from Japan and start a new life with a good career and nothing left of my past.

The year was 1977 when I left and it was now 1981. I always wondered what happened to that man I met in the cafe who gave me the money to get here. Even though I seem to have the perfect life of a scientist, I feel like I'm missing something, like I'm missing him.

But what I didn't expect was the sudden want to eat that heart in front of me, this was when I knew my life was going to take the worst turn it ever had.
