Emberly

I wasn't exactly in the mood to listen to anything Ryan was saying this morning. I just got Gerald back and I was about to loose him once again to that coniving bitch. But after Ryan shouted my name 5 times to get my attention I gave in.

"Yes Ryan?"

"I like Megan and I want to ask her on a date but I don't think she'll say yes... Could you talk to her?" He asked in sort of a sad puppy love tone. I wanted to laugh but I wasn't a monster.

"Uh yeah sure I'll talk to her for you. But you do realize she's like a lawyer right?" I asked him and he smiled.

"And a hot one." We both laughed and I headed home for the day. Thankfully no body today Candice must have taken the night off.

I arrived back home and saw my Megan at the table looking at some files with a cup of coffee. "Hey Megan I got to talk to you about something."

"Oh hey Em what's up?" She asked with a smile.

"So you know Ryan right? My boss..." I said unsure how to describe him.

"Yes I know him, he's adorable I have to say why?" She asked and I smiled of course she'd like a guy like him nerdy and simple.

"He likes you and wants to take you out he's just scared to ask..." I said chuckling.

"Oh well whats his number I'll call him right now?!" She said giggling like a school girl. I passed his number and she called him.

"Hello?" He said on the other end she had him on speaker.

"This is Megan I just want you to know I will 100% go on a date with you." She said confidently I could almost feel Ryan grinning from ear to ear on the other end.

"Really? That's awesome! Well it's still early can I pick you up at 7?" He asked and Megan smiled.

"Yes I'll see you then!" She hung up and grinned at me.

"Well I have a date so you better go get one." She said grinning at me like an idiot, "for real that guy you've been bringing over is H-O-T."

I face palmed and shook my head chuckling, "fine fine I'll go out with him, now to get ready I'll see you later."

Megan went to get ready and I texted Gerald and told him I was coming over.

Candice

I sat in a very nice restaurant across from Lindsey. I was so into this chick and I just had to get to know her more, even though I already knew everything.

"So tell me something interesting about yourself." I said staring into her eyes.

"I'm the daughter of president Hoover." She said proudly and I just stared at her blankly.

"Well duh I already knew that, I said something interesting." Lindsey looked away shyly.

"Oh um that's always worked for me before, I don't know my favorite color is red." She said completely blanking.

"Well actually my favorite color is red too." I said smiling.

"Lindsey? Is that you?" A voice said from behind her and two people approached and she glanced behind her.

"Oh hello Ryan and Megan. Uh this is..." She began I had to cut her off quickly before she gave away my name Ryan knew who I was I couldn't break cover.

"Millie, my name is Millie." I said and Ryan nodded slowly. But when you're a certified genius it's easy to spot the details.

"Oh well hello it's nice to meet you. Well I'll leave you now." He pulled the girl he was with across the restaurant and sat far away from us and quickly pulled out his phone.

My cover was about to be broken if the wrong person found out. He had to die.

Emberly

I arrived at Geralds and we sat down and shared coffee together. While just chatting for once everything felt perfect.

"I'm worried Emberly, Candice is really good I don't want to lose you..." He said quietly, "I just got you back."

"It's okay Gerald you won't I'm sure Lindsey is playing undercover she's one of the best in the business! She probably just has to be careful because Candice knows everything." I suggested as my phone beeped and I looked at the message from Ryan and gasped.

"What is it?" He said looking worried.

"Candice and Lindsey are on a date at the same restaurant him and Megan went to... it's weird though she used the name Millie?" I said looking at him confused and Gerald looked away and there was sadness in his eyes.

"Millie is her twin sister. She was like my best friend completely fearless... she was a real leader..." He sighed and I looked at him confused.

"Was?" I asked even though I felt like I already knew the answer.

"She hung herself in the suicide forrest before Candice could kill her. She didn't want her to be able to take that away from her I guess. I wish she was still here she'd know exactly what to do..." He sighed.

I put my hand on his knee and looked into his eyes, "I'm sorry Gerald I know you lost everyone it's terrible, I'm sure everything will work itself out in the end."

"Well I didn't lose you at least." He smiled  and leaned closer to me.

"And you never will." I leaned in but right before our lips touched police burst through the door with Lindsey in lead.

"Hands in the air!" We both jumped up and threw our hands in the air.

"What's going on?" I asked and Lindsey walked over to Gerald and began putting cuffs on.

"Gerald Cooper your under arrest for several murders and not only that crimes committed in Louisiana..." She continued on mubbling off his rights and I was also detained and taken to the police station for questioning. Leaving them to search his apartment.
