"You see Burke, I have scarcely left this inn since my last walk almost a week ago after Mary Jane's panic. That day I had received word to meet a man in the park and so, being naturally curious, I took a stroll to meet the peculiar stranger. He was rather short and stocky but never once did I look upon his face. He told me much the same as he told you - that he would destroy all that I once knew and loved in London; only there was one slight change in his orders... It was I who was ordered to force you to kill Mary Jane if you refused and it is I who must kill you once you have completed his task. I have no more than two days Will. That is all. I know not what to do for I want neither of you to die, especially by my hand, and so I had an idea but I knew not how you would respond to it. You see after this I reconsidered Mary Jane's request to go back to London - I believe we should. We can stop this man, whoever he is, we can stop him but we must do it together. Are you in my friend? It'll just be like our old adventures Will, a new chapter. What do you say?"
The look on his face said it all; a mixture of shock, fear and determination shone through his large eyes. Not only was he in but he was looking forward to it in an odd way much like I was. A Burke and Hare adventure like we had always done in our youth and this time would be better than ever with Mary Jane in tow. We would win this; whatever this man was doing it would end in the streets of London and that was a promise...
