Epilogue
Five years had passed since the death of Dr James King on London streets and not a major crime had happened since. With the ruler of London's criminals long dead everyone was safe and happy. William Hare married a beautiful girl who he met at the bakery down the street; together they had a young daughter who was to marry Mary Jane's strapping young son, Harry Burke, as soon as they were old enough. Her and William Burke had their first son shortly after London was deemed as safe and were now expecting a second child in the fall. All was happy and undisturbed. The old Smith bakery was rebuilt and had reopened, the pub ran as it always had done and the Gregory home was re-decorated and full of life like it had once been long before. Dr James King's death had been a murderous end to a murderous beginning on London streets but it was an ending no less...
