I had met previously with Mr Hare and now the time to meet with his partner, Mr Burke, drew nigh. These two men did not know it yet but they held very important roles in my work; they would change the entire game back to how it was supposed to be played out...

He would do anything? Well well that was far easier than I had expected my persuasion to be. Mr Burke had so swiftly tried to be the hero he believed himself to be that he had declared his eagerness to help me. He saw what they all did when it came to me: an old man who held the answers he so dearly wanted as well as the promise of protecting those in London... but I was so much more. As always I contemplated over how to deliver my plan to the eager young man - I could be subtle and beat around the bush or... the less subtle approach. Since meeting him in his inn we had moved to a bench around the corner for some privacy - I could not risk anyone else hearing our conversation.

"I want for you to continue what i have started. For so long Mr Burke have I wanted this that to finally have reached the one person who is close enough to do it - well it's truly heart racing. I have employed many to do this and all have failed...all have turned a rather different path than I had intended and all met a rather unfortunate end. But not you. No sir you are the final piece to my puzzle - oh and before you say no and change your mind I should tell you that I have employed one other to force you to keep your promise. You have two days to do this before I myself go to London and destroy all that you once loved. If you William Burke, like you said, would do anything then kill Mary Jane Kelly."

Before I even saw the young joy filled face of Mr Burke turn to me in a contorted mess of horror and shock I had disappeared into the crowd. In luck he would do the deed to save London from my murderous touch and if not - well then Mr Hare would kill them both...
