O'Connell, Evelyn, Jonathan, Evan and the Warden are working next to a narrow crevice, which weaves it's way through the ruins. O'Connell ties a rope around a pillar and throws the rest of the coils into the crevice, about to rappel down. Jonathan bends over to have a look, his ass hits something, he yelps and backs away. It's the decrepit face of Anubis.

"That thing gives me the creeps." Jonathan said.

"Be nice. That thing saved my life." O'Connell told Jonathan. Evelyn walks over so she is standing beside O'Connell.

"That thing makes me happy." Evelyn said with a big smile, looking at O'Connell. Evan is positioning ancient mirrors along the crevice.

"That 'thing' gets me excited!" Evan said with in excitement.

"The things that get you excited." O'Connell muttered sarcastically.

"According to Bembridge Scholars, inside the statue of Anubis was a secret compartment, perhaps containing The Book Of The Living." Evelyn said trying to get O'Connell's attention.

"What are those mirrors for?" O'Connell asked. Evelyn was going to answer but saw that he was talking to Evan.

"Ancient Egyptian trick. You'll see." Evan told O'Connell. O'Connell shrugs, then rappels down into the crevice.

EMBALMER'S CHAMBER

O'Connell waves a torch as Jonathan, Evelyn, Evan and the warden drop down next to him. Evelyn peers into the spooky darkness.

"Do you realize, we are standing inside a room that no one has entered in over four thousand years." Evelyn said in excitement.

"Who cares? I don't see no treasure." The warden said annoyed.

"You're welcome to my share of the spider webs." O'Connell joked, Evan glared at him but couldn't help smile.

"And it stinks to high heaven in here." Jonathan complained. Evan rolled her eyes at her brother.

"Wonder who it is." Evan muttered. Jonathan sniffs the foul air, then he looks at the warden and realizes where the smell is coming from. He stops sniffing.

Evan brushes cobwebs away from a metal disk on the wall, then repositions it on it's pedestal, aiming it at a ray of light shining in from the outer mirrors. The ray of light hits the disk and quickly shoots around the room from one disk to another until the whole chamber is lit up. Light rays shoots off down the passageways. It's the embalmer's chamber.

"That's a neat trick." O'Connell said impressed. Evan the gasp in amazement.

"Oh my god, it's a preparation room." Evelyn said with a glint of excitement in her eyes.

"Preparation for what?" O'Connell asked confused.

Evan snuck up behind him and said in a creepy voice, "For the afterlife." O'Connell quickly draws his gun. Jonathan gently nudged him.

"Mummies, my good son, this is where they made the mummies." Jonathan told O'Connell. Evelyn and Evan head down a narrow passageway, the others following behind.

~~~~
O'Connell, Evelyn, Jonathan and Evan crouch as they make their way through a narrow, cobweb infested Labyrinth. The short, squat warden can stand straight up. Then they hear something and freeze. It sounds like somebody is clawing inside the walls.
"What was that?" The warden asked. O'Connell and Evan shared a smirk then turned forward.
"Sounds like...bugs." O'Connell told Evan.
Evan turned around and whispered, "He said bugs." That was enough to freak the warden out.
"Oh quiet, you." Evelyn said annoyed. Then slowly move forward, the others following. It was getting darker and darker as they go. The strange sound getting louder and louder, and then it stops. Evelyn holds her breath. Jonathan licks his lips. O'Connell cocks his pistol. Evan takes out her gun and raises it up. The warden farts.
"Oh for God's sake!" Evan snapped at the warden. The others just glared at him.
ANUBIS CHAMBER
They slowly creep out of the labyrinth and up to the foot of an enormous half-buried statue. The lower half of Anubis. Then they hear the sound again, coming closer now, from the other side of the statue. And closer. O'Connell pulls Evan behind him. And closer. O'Connell raises his gun. And closer. O'Connell leaps out. Three horrible sweaty faces lung at him. O'Connell reacts, but doesn't pull the trigger because it's just the Americans, their guns are up, cocked and aimed. Evan who had her gun up let's out a sigh in relieve.
"Ya scared the bejeezus out of us, O'Connell." Henderson said.
"Likewise." O'Connell responded. But nobody lowers their guns.
Daniels grins, the tough one, "Put down the gun, sweetheart, wouldn't want you to get hurt." Evan glared at him and walked towards him. Evan grabbed him and pinned him against the statue.
"Say that again." Evan said in a sweet voice, too sweet if you ask me. Daniels gulps but looks at her in the eyes.
"Put the gun down, sweetheart, wouldn't want you to get hurt." Daniels said. Evan smiled at him and put her gun away, Daniels let out a sigh in relieve but it ended when Evan punched him in the nose.
"Don't ever tell me what to do, sweetheart." Evan growled out and let go of Daniels.
"That wasn't lady like." Henderson muttered under his breath but Evan heard him. Just as Evan was going to shoot him, O'Connell stops her.
"This here is our statue...friend." Daniels said not looking at Evan.
"Don't see your name on it, pal." O'Connell said to him, and that's when Beni, five Diggers and the Egyptologist step out of the shadows, all holding guns aimed at O'Connell.
"Ten to one, O'Connell, your odds are no-so-good." Beni said with a smug smile.
"I've had worst." O'Connell said. Evan stepped besides O'Connell.
"Yes, me too." Jonathan said as he clenches a tiny derringer.
"I've dealt with wannabes." Evan said looking directly at Henderson and Daniels. O'Connell gives the two siblings a sideways glance. Beni cocks his gun, grinning, he wants it to happen. The tension thickens. Then Evelyn gently takes O'Connell's gun hand and pulls it down.
"Let's be nice, children, if we're going to play together, we must learn to share." Evelyn said, Evan didn't put her gun down only pointed it at Daniels. Evelyn saw this and pushed her arm down. Evelyn pulls O'Connell away, the others following behind.
~~~~~

O'Connell and Jonathan are using sledge-hammers against the ceiling. Evelyn is gently chipping away with a tiny chisel. Evan stood a little away from them looking around the room.

"According to my calculations, we should be right under the statue. We'll come up right between his legs." Evelyn said, Evan looked at Evelyn and wiggled her eyebrows. Evelyn noticed what she said and blushed.

"Oh my.." Evelyn muttered embarrassed.

"And when those dirty yanks go to sleep.." Evan stopped and looked at O'Connell. "No offense, of course."

"None taken." O'Connell told the black haired beauty.

"We'll sneak up and steal that book right out from under them." Evan said with a large smile.

"And you're sure you can find the secret compartment?" O'Connell asked Evelyn but his eyes were on Evan.

"Yes, if their Egyptologist hasn't already found it." Evelyn said. Evan rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"Oh, sweet little sister. I don't think he is considered a Egyptologist." Evan said and patted Evelyn's head. Jonathan looked around.

"I say, what's our smelly little friend got himself up to?" Jonathan asked.

"Don't know, don't care." Evan told her brother.

~~~~~
They had decided to rest for a while, and that gave Evan a great opportunity to tell O'Connell how mummification worked.
"Lemme get this straight, they stuck a sharp, red hot poker up your nose, cut your brain into small pieces, then ripped it all out through your nostrils?" O'Connell asked Evan and she nodded.
"Ouch! That's really got to hurt." Jonathan said as he played golf with the sledge-hammer.
"It's called mummification. You're dead when they do this." Evelyn told them as she sat besides O'Connell.
"Most of the time." Evan added with a creepy voice standing in front of O'Connell.
"Still..." Jonathan said ignoring Evan.
"Yeah, that'd bring you back to life." O'Connell agreed.
"You two are worse than a couple of schoolboys." Evelyn said.
"You just noticed that?" Evan asked her sister, and that's when a huge chunk of the roof suddenly gives out. O'Connell grabs Evan and jerks her clear. Jonathan dives for the far wall. A massive stone casement drops out of the ceiling and crashes to the floor. Dust fills the room.
"JONATHAN!" Evan called out breathing hard. O'Connell was holding her close to him, the display of affection didn't go unnoticed by Evelyn. The dust is starting to clear. O'Connell, Evelyn, Jonathan and Evan slowly get up and step over to the massive stone casement.
"Oh my god... it looks like, it looks like a sarcophagus." Evelyn said as she walked over to the sarcophagus.
"Why would they bury somebody in the ceiling?" O'Connell asked standing besides Evan.
"They didn't, they buried him at the foot of Anubis. He was either someone of great importance. Or he did something very naughty." Evan said as she looked at the sarcophagus wide eyed.
"Abayomi." Evan heard someone whisper in her ear but when she turned no one was near her other than O'Connell.
"Abayomi." Evan heard when she looked at the sarcophagus but she chose to ignore it. The four then started to clear the dirt off the top of the sarcophagus, revealing a single, ominous hieroglyph. Evan stares at it Jonathan impatiently strums his fingers across the lid.
"Well? Who is it?" Jonathan asked impatiently. Evan stares at the hieroglyph, confused and concerned.
"'He that shall not be named.'" Evan told her siblings. O'Connell dusts off the huge lock.
"There's some sort of lock here. You say these thing's are made of granite with a steel interior?" O'Connell asked.
"Quarried granite with a cobalt lining." Evelyn told him.
"Abayomi." Evan jumped back when the voice got louder. O'Connell noticed this and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"Whoever's in here, sure wasn't getting out." Jonathan said not noticing the affection O'Connell was showing to his sister. Evelyn slightly glared at the two but turned away.
"No kiddin', without a key, it'll take us a month to crack this thing," O'Connell was cut off by Evan.
"A key! That's it! That's what he was talking about!" Evan said in realization.
"Who was talking about what?" O'Connell asked confused. Evan started to look through the pack on Jonathan's back.
"The creepy man on the barge. The one with the hook, he was looking for a key." Evan said pulls out the key/box. Jonathan tries to take it back.
"Hey! That's mine!" Jonathan called out. Evan smacked his hands and glared at him.
"It is his." Evan said pointing at O'Connell. Evan quickly unfolds the box, it's now shaped exactly like the locks keyhole. Evan smiles.
"Abayomi." Evan heard once more, and in that exact moment they heard the warden's screams echoing through the labyrinth. All four of them turn and take-off running. Evan ran back and grabbed the key and ran towards the others.
The Warden is screaming and dancing insanely around the labyrinth, totally freaked from the extreme pain in his head. O'Connell, Evelyn, Jonathan and Evan run up just as the Warden starts ripping his own hair out of his head. Evan grabs the Warden's hands, but he's far too crazed, he shoves her aside, runs full bore down the length of the labyrinth and slams his head straight into a rock wall. The Warden drops to the ground. Dead as lead. Eyes wide open.
Evan had fallen on the floor. Evelyn quickly helps her up and hugs her older sister.
"This is why I never offer help." Evan muttered. O'Connell, Evelyn, Jonathan and Evan just stand there staring, breathing hard, wide-eyed themselves...
Evelyn closed her eyes and hugged her sister tightly not wanting to see the dead prison warden.
"Abayomi." The voice said again this time it was a little farther than before.
