Evan got out of the car and looked up towards Cairo Museum of Antiquities. The brown haired woman let out a sigh, she hadn't seen her sister and brother in years. Evan walked up the steps and into the museum, her eyes looked around incase something happens. Evan was a beautiful woman with black hair and bright blue eyes any man would fall for her, but don't let her looks fool you. Evan is great with a gun and isn't afraid to shoot you with it.

Evan walked around, she soon saw the curator and walked towards him. "Hello sir, I am looking for my sister Evelyn." Evan said and the curator turned to her.

"Ah, Miss Carnahan, good to have you here." The curator said shaking her hand. Before Evan could say anything they both heard a loud crash coming from the library. They both ran in that direction and saw the book shelves on the ground surrounding a brunette. Papers were flying around and books were all over the place.

"Oops." The brunette said and the curator glared at the young woman.

"Look at this! Sons of the Messiah! Give me frogs, flies, locusts, anything but this! Compared to you, the other plagues were a joy!" The curator said and Evan started to pick books up along with Evelyn.

"I'm sorry. It was an accident." Evelyn said and the curator shook his head. Evan stood up with books in her arms.

"When Ramesses destroyed Syria, it was an accident. You are a catastrophe! Why do I put up with you?" The curator scowl. Evan glared at him.

"You put up with her, because she -other than me- can read and write ancient Egyptian, decipher hieroglyphs and hieratic, and she's the only person within a thousand miles who knows how to properly code and catalogue this library." Evan snapped and the curator glared at the black haired woman.

"Who needs smart women? I put up with her because your mother and father were our finest patrons, Allah rest their souls. Now straighten up this mess!" The curator said and Evan glared at him. The curator turned and left, leaving Evelyn and Evan.

"Don't listen to him, pumpkin." Evan said even though she's hurt. She was close to her parents and the mention of them still hurt her.

"I'm glade you're back." Evie said and hugged her older sister. Evan hugged her back and suddenly they heard a loud bang. Evan turned around pushing Evie behind her, she took out her revolver and looked around.

"Hello?" Evie called out and Evan turned to her.

"Evie, listen to me. If someone is hear either they want to kill us or they are too drunk to know where they are." Evan told her sister but Evelyn ignored her.

"Abdul? Mohammed? Bob?" Evie called out once more.

"You stay here- never mind, come on." Evan said and pulled her sister along. Evan held her revolver close to her and looked around. Evelyn and Evan walked through the stacks and enter the Ramesseum.

It was filled with treasures and plunder from the Middle Kingdom. It's very dark and quiet in there, the only light is from flickering torches at either end of the spooky gallery.

The noise is heard again. From the far side of the room. Feet, slowly shuffling, plodding across the floor. Evelyn grabs a torch and grabbed her sisters hand.

"Don't worry." Evan whispered to Evelyn who nodded. They look around, at a statue of Anubis, another of Horus, they stare down at Evelyn and Evan. Evelyn was starting to get scared now. They walks down the aisle. Past a closed sarcophagus. Past cases of ancient artifacts. Past another sarcophagus, only this one is open. Evelyn freezes, swallows hard, nervously looks around to see who could have opened it. Evan slowly leans forward with the torch she took from the frozen Evelyn, and peers inside.

A hideous rotted mummy sits up and screeches at her. Evelyn screams scared out of her wits. Evan dropped the torch and backs away, revolver in hand ready to shoot the mummy. Then, coming from inside the sarcophagus, she hears a man laughing. Both girls eyes narrow as a foppish cad crawls out from behind the Mummy, laughing his ass off, half drunk.

"You! You!" Evelyn didn't even finish.

"Drunkard? Fool? Rat-bastard? Please call me something original." Jonathan Carnahan said and Evan glared at him.

"You arse!" Evan shouted making Jonathan turn to her.

"Evan!" Jonathan said and got out of the sarcophagus.

"John." Evan said and smiled at him. The two siblings shared a hug, when they pulled away Evan smacked Jonathan.

"Don't ever do that again!" Evan snapped. Evelyn pulls a cigarette out of the mummy's mouth.

"Have you no respect for the dead?" Evie asked annoyed.

"Right now, I only wish to join them." Jonathan said, he grins drunkenly. Evan punches him hard in the chest.

"Well I wish you'd do it sooner rather than later, before you ruin my career the way you've ruined yours." Evelyn said as she puts the mummy back the way it was.

"My dear, sweet, baby sister, I'll have you know, that at this moment my career is on a high note." Jonathan said, falling back and sits on the edge of a tomb.

"High note? Ha! For five years you've been scrounging around Egypt, and what have you to show for it? Nothing." Evelyn said annoyed. Evan looked at her sister with concern but agreed. Jonathan excitedly starts scrounging around in his jacket.

"Oh yes I do! I have something right here!" Jonathan said with excitement.

"Oh no, not another worthless trinket, Jonathan, if I bring one more piece of junk to the Curator to try and sell for you." Evelyn started but Jonathan pulls out a small, ancient box; the collapsed key to Imhotep's sarcophagus and coffin. Evan is instantly curious, she grabs the box out of his hand.

"Where did you get this?" Evelyn asked Jonathan as Evan examined the box.

"On a dig, down in Thebes." Jonathan said as Evan rolls the box around in her hands, mumbling to herself as she translates the hieratics and hieroglyphs covering it. Jonathan licks his lips in anticipation.

"My whole life I've never found anything, Evan. Tell me I've found something." Jonathan plead. Evan ignored him as her fingers play with the various little slats on the box, shifting them this way and that way, it's like a puzzle box. Then suddenly, it unfolds itself, almost-mechanically, turning itself into a key. Sitting inside the open key/box is a folded piece of golden papyrus.

"Jonathan?" Evan said softly taking out the map gently.

"Yes?" Jonathan asked and Evan smiled. Evan had a spark in her eyes, the one she had when she finds something worth her time.

"You, my dear brother, found something." Evan said.
