When they found Jonathan he was more than just drunk. Evelyn, Evan and O'Connell had agreed to have a drink and now they were all drunk. Jonathan and Evelyn had passed out do to the alcohol. O'Connell and Evan laugh, both half-in-the-bag themselves, the bottle of Seagrams is almost gone.

O'Connell offers the bottle to Evan, she waves it away, slurring badly," unlike my brother and sister, sir, I know when to say no."

O'Connell polishes off the bottle and chucks it away. "Unlike your brother and sister, miss, you, I don't get. You're a whole new brew." O'Connell told the dark haired girl.

"You're probably wondering, what's a place like me doing in a girl like this?" Evan said with a grin on her face.

"Something like that." O'Connell told the girl with a smile. Evan grabbed the bottle Seagrams and drank some.

"Well, Mister O'Connell, Egypt is in my blood. My father was a famous explorer, he loved Egypt so much that he married an Egyptian. My mother! Who was quite an adventurer herself." Evan said as she showed O'Connell the locket around her neck that had a picture of her and her family inside.

"Okay, I get your father, I get your mother, I get your brother, and I get your sister, but what are you doing here?" O'Connell asked the girl. Evan is insulted, she staggers to her feet.

"I am here for the thrill! For the adventure! I'm proud of who I, Evan Carnahan, am!" Evan told O'Connell with a lage grin.

"And what is that?" O'Connell asked in amazement. Evan plops back down beside him, really drunk, she grins and proudly lifts her head high.

"I'm an Archaeologist!" Evan said as she leaned close to O'Connell so they were face to face.

"I'm going to kiss you, Mister O'Connell." Evan whispered as she looked into his bright blue eyes.

"No you're not." O'Connell whispered back to Evan.

"Are you doubting me?" Evan asked as she looked down at his lips then back to his eyes.

"No." O'Connell disagree.

"Then?" Evan asked as she leaned closer to O'Connell.

"You aren't allowed to kiss me, unless you call me Rick." O'Connell said with a smile as he saw the dark haired girl lean closer.

"Alright... Rick." Evan said and pressed her lips against Rick's. Rick pulls her closer to his body while Evan wrapped her arms around his neck. Evan pulled away lightly panting and gave Rick a grin.

"Looks like you do know how to kiss." Evan mumbled and passed out on Rick's arms. Rick smiled at the dark haired girl and laid her down besides her siblings. Rick laid down and fell asleep.

CHAMBER-DAY

Evan's hand slips the key into the sarcophagus, lock and turns it. A series of strange mechanical-like sounds are heard, and then the sarcophagus unlocks with a giant hiss. Rick, Evan, Jonathan and Evelyn looked very, very hangover. They -not including Evelyn- start to slide the heavy lid off the sarcophagus. Pushing, shoving and groaning, the lid budging, inch by inch.

"I can't believe I allowed the three of to you get me drunk." Evelyn groaned putting her hand on her head.

"Don't blame me, I don't even remember being there." Jonathan said defending himself.

"Well, neither do I, thank you." Evelyn said.

"Quit your whining." Evan told her siblings while Rick looked at her.

"You remember last night?" Rick asked the bright blue eyed girl.

"Eh, half...Rick." Evan said with a grin. Rick smirked at the dark haired girl and turned back to pushing the lid off the sarcophagus.

"Okay..." Rick mumbled.

"Okay..." Evan mimicked Rick making him playfully glare at her. Then the lid falls off and loudly crashes to the ground. All four of them instantly grab their sore heads and moan.

"I'm never drinking again." Evan said and took a seat. Imhotep's wooden coffin is dropped to the ground next to his stone sarcophagus. Evelyn and Evan are very excited.

"Oh my god, I've dreamed about this ever since I was a little girl." Evelyn said excited about her first discovery.

"You dream about dead guys?" Rick asked sarcastically and Evan smirked at him.

"If that is how you react to dreaming about dead guys, you wouldn't want to know what I dream about." Evan told Rick making him turn to her.

"I'm now afraid to ask." Rick told her. Evelyn just gives the two a look, then Evan starts brushing dirt and cobwebs off the top of the coffin. Then she freezes.

"Look, all the sacred spells have been chiseled off. The hieratics and hieroglyphs that protect the deceased on his journey into the afterlife, they've been removed. This man was cursed... doomed." Evan told her three companions. Evelyn looked slightly scared, Rick and Jonathan were too excited to care.

"Poor guy." Evelyn said feeling bad for whoever was in there.

"Tough break." Rick said not really caring about the guy inside the coffin.

"Yes, I'm all tears, now let's see who's inside, shall we?" Jonathan said excitedly.

"I'm going to sign you up for mummification that way you know how this guy feels." Evan told the two guys. Jonathan inserts the key/box into the coffin's lock and turns it. The lid cracks open with a hiss. They all react to the foul stench. Then Rick grabs the lid but it's stuck. He pulls with all his might. Jonathan helps him. It starts to give way. Slowly, and then it suddenly pops open and the most hideous, maggot infested, rotten corpse imaginable jumps up.

"Ahh!" Rick, Evelyn and Jonathan scream.

"Jesus!" Evan yelled and fell backwards. The four of them were scared to death. The mummy was twisted and deformed. The years have not been kind. The hideous mummy slumps back into its coffin.

Rick, Evelyn and Jonathan slowly creep forward and carefully look back inside the mummies coffin, creeped-out.

"Is he suppose to look like that?" Rick asked looking at Evan.

"No. I've never seen a mummy look like this. He's, he's still..." Evelyn started while Evan tried to calm her fast beating heart.

"Juicy?" Jonathan offered and Evan leaned forward and looked at the mummy.

"That is one way to put it. He's more than four thousand years old and still decomposing." Evan said as she looked closely at the mummy.

"Abayomi." Evan heard someone whisper near her ear so she turned but saw Rick looking at her with concern in his eyes.

"Look at this." Evelyn said snapping both Rick and Evan back to reality. They both looked into the coffin where there are fingernail scratches and dried blood all over the inside.

"Oh my god, he was buried alive." Evan said surprised as she ran her fingers across the scratches.

"And he left a message." Rick told Evan and she looked towards where he was pointing. Evan ran her fingers over it.

"It says, 'Death is only the beginning.'" Evan translated. Evelyn called her sister over toward where she was and pointed at another message that was written with blood.

"'I'll be back, Abayomi." Evan translated it and she shivered. Jonathan shivers as well. Rick looks around.

"Where's my gun?" Rick asked looking for his gun.

"What are you going to do? Shoot him?" Jonathan asked sarcastically and Rick looked at him.

"If he decides to wake up, hell yes!" Rick exclaimed and saw his gun and picked it up.
