Cutesy Cadaver was a pegasus born and raised in Canterlot. Her fur was light pink, her mane had two pigtail braids, and her tail was entirely a single braid itself. She lived with her loving parents and little brother.

Cutesy loved to discover new places to play. She once found herself in the royal garden. Cutesy was only two at the time, and Celestia loved to play with her. When Cutesy was six, the princess asked the pegasus' parents if she could tour the castle and they were fine with that. When they got to the throne room, Celestia asked "Do you want to see something cool?" she winked, the filly nodded. Celestia used her magic to open the floor, and she brought up the Elements of Harmony. Suddenly the Elements all started blasting their magic into Cutesy.

"You are the Warrior of Harmony, use your power well." she heard a goddess-like voice. The magic stopped and Cutesy realized she had a cutie mark; she didn't even see it appear. It was a dark pink heart with small red devil horns. "Cutesy!" the princess laughed "This means you'll get a special power" "Ooh, what is it!" "Ha ha, it's gonna be a surprise". For weeks, the filly wondered what her power would be. One day Cutesy was bored and thought about going somewhere new, suddenly a portal appeared in front of her. Cutesy was incredibly curious and so she jumped through assuming this was her special power.
