10:31 AM. BERK, THE ISLE OF BERK

y/n sits in the clearing, her hands being crafty. no, she's not stitching something together this time. this time, she is making a flower crown. not just one. a few. she has made a big enough one for toothless and his massive head. he's wearing it, however it took a lot of convincing. moonflower is upon his head. he rests, his head lying upon his hands

midnight has the black star around her head as she relishes in it. she's such a pretty princess, i know. y/n has dark red roses around her head as she is creating a flower crown for hiccup. 

toothless tenses up, hearing something. y/n looks at him and watches as he races for the cliff, trying to get up. y/n stands up, the flower crown discarded onto the dirt. 

"māzigon, toothless!" she shouts, toothless snarling still trying to get up. he has to get up. he needs to get up and over it. midnight runs but y/n turns to her. "umbagon," midnight whines, but y/n has to put her foot down. "umbagon, midnight!" she shouts. midnight puts her head down, turning away from y/n. y/n has never yelled at her before. they hsve never had an argument before. but something isn't right. and if something isn't right, midnight is not getting hurt. "toothless, ilagon. ao daor sōvegon, kesan dohaeragon ao,"

toothless whines, getting down as y/n leaps onto him. she sits on the saddle, twisting her foot and he takes flight.

they struggle through the woods, y/n not sure how to work this contraption that hiccup has made. but they are making progress. y/n feels her knife, it is heavy in her pocket. but it is there. and it is there for a reason.

a whistle echoes through the arena, gobber turning his head at that familiar sound. 

"night fury!" toothless, y/n on his back, a blast of smoke, burning the metal cage of the arena. y/n stabs the monstruous nightmare in the foot, it crying out in pain as toothless flies on it's back, biting and clawing at it's neck as it slams in down. 

the smoke clears, everyone seeing the young girl with long white hair, dressed in red. y/n helps hiccup up, seeing if there are any bruises or burns on his skin. he knows he should help it, especially now in a matter of life and death, but he loves her warm hands on him.

"a targaryen?!"

"is that a targaryen girl?!"

"did they not all die?"

toothless snarls at the monstrous nightmare, it covering under toothless' gaze. y/n turns, meeting its eye and it bows its head completely. it notices a new escape route, using it quickly. 

"you need to go," hiccup states, putting y/n's hand on toothless' head and trying to get her to mount him. "now! you need to go now!"

"are you absurd? no, i am not leaving you here!" y/n states, pushing his hands off her. the berkians starts to crowd them. 

"y/n please..." hiccup spots his father, getting an axe in the corner of his eye. "no dad! dad, they won't hurt you!"

some one tries to grab y/n, the girl cuts them with her knife. 

"no, no, no don't up!" hiccup shouts, trying to get people's attention as they try and retrain the two dragons. "you're only making it worse!"

midnight whines, hearing toothless attack. she hears y/n's deep breathing and hiccup's pleas. but she can't do anything. she got an order from her best friend. she's going to follow it.

y/n kicks a viking in the face but two others try and grab her. toothless shakes off the viking's with ease, lunging at stoick. the night fury pins him to the ground, ready to let out a blast. 

"toothless, stop!" hiccup says, turning to see where y/n is. and she's there, trying to get to toothless. "let go off her!" hiccup shouts, pulling her away from the grasps of the other viking's. y/n looks at hiccup, then spots toothless trying to kill someone. 

"keligon, toothless!" she shouts, the dragon closing its mouth and turns looking at his friends. he cowers like a kicked puppy. 

"get him!" 

"no!" y/n shouts, moving away from hiccup, trying to guard toothless but something hard hits her in the back off the head and she falls to the ground in a slump, her white hair is tainted brown from the dirt and dust from the arena.

"y/n, y/n!" hiccup says, trying to reach her but astrid holds him back. him going to her might make things worse. the viking's hoard onto toothless, clamping his mouth shut. the dragon tries to move, trying to y/n or toothless but he can't. he's not strong enough. he whines, seeing a viking carry y/n over his shoulder. 

stoick pants, looking between toothless and y/n who's being carried. he shakes his head as he pushes the axe away. 

"put it with the others," he says. he then looks over to y/n. an actual targaryen. the white hair was proof enough. "and keep her with him,"
