Death
"..Is a natural thing, just like eating or drinking. It happens every day, so why should I be sad?"
Honestly it does, and those people are going somewhere better, right? So why shouldn't we be happy for them, jealous even? I think that really, we just wish they hadn't left us behind.
But, what if there was nothing after death, no next life, heaven, Hell, limbo, or any of that. Just close your eyes and think about a black void.. but black is something isn't it? So close your eyes, stop breathing, and stop thinking. Don't listen to your heartbeat that will thunder louder and louder as it pleads for the oxygen it so desperately needs, then it will fade. Suddenly, it's quiet. Unnaturally so. There are no birds, crickets, or machinery. And you let go of that thought as your lungs give out and your brain stops functioning.
Now, open your eyes and breathe again. Get up. It's time for you to face Hell.
Perhaps Hell really does already exist. It's a place on Earth, inside of each and every person. In some it is stronger than others, and they can hear the voices of those lost to the void of nothingness after life. Those people are the only ones who truly know what life is. What it means, and what it meant to those before. They know the last thoughts of the people that faced the end of their life, and that of the ones who cut their's short. They know the ramblings of a person "gone mad" because that is the only person that speaks to them, day in and day out.

You only know what you had once you've lost it, just as the dead crave to taste the essence of life just once more.
