In the morning, Rabbitmoon and Niko went to check on the kits and Rosestar.
"Good morning, my sweet!" Exclaimed Rabbitmoon, watching Rosestar and the kits. Her eyes were hollow and droopy. She was very tired.
   "Oh, hello" she answered sighing. Then she brightened up. "I have names for them!"
   "Oh, yay! Tell us!" Rabbitmoon meowed excitedly.
   "The tabby she-cats are Meadowkit and Mistkit. The light gray Tom is Blazekit and the dark gray Tom is Whistlekit. Do you like them?" Rosestar finished proudly.
   "Yes, but," began Rabbitmoon, puzzledly. "Why did you put 'kit' after each of their names?"
   "Um," Rosestar looked embarrassed. "Well, I came up with a new name system. A kit has 'kit' at the end of their name until their old enough to become an apprentice and get a mentor. Then their name ends with 'paw'. Then when they've had enough training to become Hunters and Fighters, their names end with any other word."
   Rabbitmoon's ees widened. "Wow! I like that! It's perfect!"
   Rosestar looked surprised. "You do?" She asked.
   "Yes!" Breathed Rabbitmoon. "It's a great idea! That should be a rule for every Moonclan cat. I need to announce it right now!" He jumped into the Moonrock to make the announcement. He announced it to everyone. They all agreed.
"That's a great idea!"
"What age will the kits have to be to be an apprentice?"
"I like it!"
"Now, me and Rosestar will think about this. Go finish your duties!" Rabbitmoon explained. Everyone did what they were told.
Rabbitmoon walked to the Nursery. "Rosestar! I need to talk with you!"
Rosestar lifted her head. "Yes? Is it about the name situation?"
Rabbitmoon nodded. "It is. Now what age do kits have to be to become an apprentice?"
"Hmmm," Rosestar thought. "Let's say... six moons?"
"That's good." Rabbitmoon answered. "Not too young to put their lives in danger, and not too old to get a late start. When the others come back, I'll tell them."
Rosestar nodded. She sighed. "These kits are wearing me out!"
Rabbitmoon laughed. "Well as soon a their six moons old, you can move back to being a Fighter with me!" He licked her ear.
Rosestar smiled at her babies. She gasped. "Look!"
Rabbitmoon looked as Blazekit started to open his eyes.
"Wow! He's early! And the biggest kit!" Rabbitmoon was surprised. It was kind of alarming. Their eyes shouldn't be open this early. Something's up.
   "Why did he open his eyes so early?- oh no," breathed Rabbitmoon. He was staring at Blazekit's eyes. They were milky green.
   He was blind.
