Darkness is approaching, and the poor eight boys are trapped in cages. The people who caught them tease them by throwing things at the caged ones, scaring the poor creatures. Wind sweeps in, cold but full of magic. And as the moon rises from the clouds, a shadow flies across the sky. quietly, it attacks, breaks the cages, and frees the eight creatures. They do not see her, only hear, and her shadow is on their minds. They escape, away from the prison camp for unique animals such as werewolves, vampires, and others.

The day dawns, and the shadow is gone from the sky. From the forest's interior comes a young girl dressed in plain white clothes. But her eyes glow blue, green, and red—her forms.
