I brought Killion to my study and handed him his copy of the contract.

"Killion... I made this contract based on both our interests. Also I have to tell you that I agreed to marry you for certain reasons that can only be revealed after the wedding... But if you have any condition you can write it and I will accept it ..."

"Do we really need a contract to marry?"

"This way you won't be afraid of treating me just like your parents did."

"I guess you are right..."

"Do you have any condition?"

"Yes... Please take out the money... I certainly don't need money. If within a year you divorce me, I will accept it and make sure you won't have to see me again."

For some reason I felt my heart ache when he said that. Did I fall for him again? Why do his words feel like knives stabbing me?

I felt a weight on my heart as I scratched out the part that talked about the money.

I really want to tell him that I already love him but if I do I will feel vulnerable.

His eyes lit up and sparkled like aquamarine stones of the best quality.
After writing that clause to the contracts we both signed.

After signing, Killion seemed very happy. Like the happiest man alive. I am finally marrying the man I love.

"Killion let's marry in a week."

"Yes! The sooner the better!"

"I have to talk to my family and ask the emperor to marry us ."

"I agree..."

Killion seemed overjoyed about our marriage. Marrying the man I love after five years of seperation did make me happy but deep inside my heart, I could still feel anxious.

I couldn't show my anxiety to Killion. I don't want to make him feel guilty. Killion went back to his house and I could finally see my children.

I rushed to their room and fortunately they were awake. When they saw me, Astro and Selene ran to me excitedly.

"Astro, Selene my lovely children~ Mommy missed you~"

"We missed you too mommy! Selene and I studied a lot and then played with Jonathan"

"Yes mommy, Astro and I learnt a new game!... Mommy? Is that man healthy now?"

"Yes Selene! He is fine now and he went back home"

I felt guilty of hiding the truth from them and Killion...

I hugged Astro and Selene feeling moved by their words. They really are like a blessing to me. I hope they become a blessing to Killion too.

Tonight I had a dream.

I dreamt of my last life as Kira Kim. I was actually short lived. I was actually very pretty. I had long wavy white hair and violet eyes.

I grew up in an orphanage. People didn't treat me well there. When I was fifteen, my wealthy father found me. His wife and children hated me to the core.

In the middle of nowhere. A road between sea and forest, someone hit me from behind. I heard the familiar voice of my best friend and my manager. After minutes I was unconscious.

I gained my senses and found myself naked with a big rock tied on my ankle.
At that road between sea and forest, I was between life and death.

The past would haunt me before. I would wake up suddenly as if I had seen a nightmare. But they were real. The events of the past used to torment me but now they seem distant... Foreign.

The wedding preparations went smoothly and the emperor agreed to the marriage. I am a bit sad that Astro and Selene can't attend until the marriage but they gave me their blessings.

The wedding day finally arrived and I would finally see Killion. This whole week I missed him. We invited many people to our wedding. The emperor, Killion's friends and other nobles.

The wedding venue was out of the ordinary. The ceiling was all made of tempered glass you could see the night sky that was filled with fireworks that kept showcasing their colours.

The guests arrived and sat at the chairs we prepared. Killion went to greet the guests while I was in a waiting room preparing for the wedding.

Jonathan entered the room and escorted me to walk the isle till we reached Killion. Killion was about to take my hand but Jonathan stopped him.

"Killion Hills, I hand you over her grace Duchess Silvia Fury... You have to take care of her and love her... both her and her family."

Killion smiled brightly and nodded in agreement. Then he faced me with his seductive face and told me.

"You look stunning tonight."

"Look who's talking~"

The priest came in front of us and started the wedding process.

"Silvia Fury... Do you promise to love, cherish and take care of Killion Hills?"

"I do"

"Killion Hills... Do you promise to love, cherish and take care of Silvia Fury?"

"I do "

"Now I name you husband and wife... You are now one till death does you apart... You may kiss the bride"

Killion faced me with a big smile and gave me a soft passionate kiss on the lips.

His lips were soft and his breath tasted like mint.

After the wedding, Sienna who was my bridesmaid led me to my room and prepared a nightgown.

Then Jonathan,who had already put the kids to sleep, led me to Killion's room.

As I stepped closer to the door I got more and more nervous. My heart felt as if it was about to jump from my chest and my legs were slightly trembling. I slowly opened the door and saw something unforgettable.

Killion was wearing a half unbuttoned nightgown. He was sitting on the bed that was huge and decorated with lily flowers.

These moments I regret not having a camera. When he heard the door open, he turned around nervously and gulped his saliva.

Realising that he is as nervous as I am for our wedding night, I calmed down a bit.
I slowly approached Killion. He stood up and took a step closer to me.

I erased the distance between us by slowly unbuttoning his nightgown and slowly revealing his six pack...
