Today is the first battle. I am the one of the two generals who will fight. The third general is of old age and can't fight. They say that the second general is young.

For some unexpected reason my mind went to Killion Hills. He would make an excellent general. Like being the general would be his ideal job.

I mean who wouldn't want to see that man holding a sword and wearing an armour? Anyone who would see this would be blessed!

What am I even thinking?

Kira! Snap out of it!

I shook my head to sober up.

I walked out of the tent and went to meet the other generals and prepare for battle.

I arrived at the meeting tent wearing my armour and having my sword around my waist. I also wore the pendulum as a good luck charm.

When I entered the tent, I saw the second general. The old man who was unable to fight. He seemed like a great strategist though.

As a third general, I greeted my elder and sat in a wooden chair. The elder man with his sharp eyes noticed the pendulum.

"Don't ever take it off child"

"Pardon?"

"The pendulum..."

"I see... Thank you!"

Someone came into the tent. He was heavily armoured. A black metal armour at that. The heaviest kind. On his hands was a big sword made from the same metal.

I wish I could see his face~

He wore a helmet that hid his face. He looked just like a robot. The heavy armour could still betray his well sculpted body.

"Generals! Let's go!"

His confident voice was reassuring me that this battle would go well. A low pitched and loud voice that sounded manly.

What a shame~

He must be handsome!

We arrived at the battlefield. First General and I were in the front lines. Behind us were thousands of men.

I felt that the general was staring at me. I met his gaze but couldn't see his eyes. The helmet casted a shadow above his eyes, throwing a dark veil that hid any shape or colour.

"Is everything okay First general?"

"Y-Yes!"

He nodded nervously. He must be anxious about the battle. I wanted to calm him down.

"General..."

"?!"

" You don't have to be nervous~ If you are in danger, I will protect you~"

"!!!"

The general flinched surprised. At least I helped him calm down a bit.

The enemy reached and all the soldiers got into position. The enemy's king stepped closer and spoke in a hoarse from the cigars voice.

" People from the empire I give you a chance to leave unscathed. Just give up"

I stepped ahead and answered to this foolish arrogant man.

" If you like your head, don't spout nonsense and surrender. I will make sure to end you quickly"

*Chuckle*

The first general let out a laugh as if I told a joke. The enemy's king felt the mockery and because of his arrogance, he signed the start of the attack. The First general also signed the start of the battle.

Both sides mixed in the middle as we drew the first blood. I went at half my speed and half power though this much was enough to overpower them.

On the other side, First general was fighting equally well to me. Despite his heavy armour and sword, he looked like a feather while dodging the attacks the enemy tried to land on him.

While I was distracted, someone tried to kill me. The first general shouted my name and rushed to my direction.

I already knew that someone was behind me. I swinged my sword and cut his neck.

I turned to face the first general and saw someone hitting him. The sword penetrated the armour and wounded general's arm.

At that moment I felt immense pain in my heart as I saw general kneeling down from the pain. I had a weird feeling.

I glanced at my hands and as I clenched my fists I noticed golden flames emerging from every part of me.

I had a feeling that the general had something to do about it.

I turned my gaze at the general who looked like he was in a lot of pain and attacked at the enemies who were about to kill him.

I closed the distance between the general and me and I checked his condition.

"First general! How are you feeling?"

" I got poisoned..."

I looked at his wound. The cut was clear but the blood was flowing non stop. He was really poisoned. His cough startled me.

*Cough*

*Cough*

"Silvia Fury... You kept your promise..."

"Who are you exactly?"

The general lifted his hand and stroked my hair.

"I see... You don't remember me..."

"Who are you? General!"

The general fainted. I quickly placed my mouth in his wound and sucked out the poison. Then, I did a healing spell on him and carried him on my back as he had lost a lot of blood.

We killed the remaining enemies and went back to the barracks to treat the wounded. We only had three of our soldiers dead.

I rushed to my tent and placed general on my comfortable bed. He seemed uncomfortable with all this armour. I undressed him. All except the helmet.

I took out some bandages and dressed his arm. Then I realized that his body and build seemed familiar. Curiosity struck me.

I have to take off the helmet...

I carefully removed the helmet and saw something unexpected.

Killion Hills!?

I could easily recognize this perfect person. He is my boss!

How could I not notice?

And Why does my heart hurt so much?

Looking at his pale face and his body full of lovebites I could guess that he wanted to not make me uncomfortable.

I felt guilty that he is in that situation because of me. His statue like face was pale and he kept sweating.

I took a wet towel and wiped his body. At night he shivered from the cold so I covered him with a thick blanket.

About an hour passed and he kept trembling. I had no choice. I had to give him my warmth. I took off my armour and garments and lied down beside him.

I hugged his body and after five minutes he calmed down. I felt his hard muscles brush against my body. My heart kept beating.

" Aah~ so soft~"

Killion said and embraced me with his arms. Good job Killion now I can't sleep!

His soft breath kept falling on my cheek and my head was only at breath's distance from his hot chest. I was so close and so nervous that I couldn't distinguish between our heartbeats which was mine.

What a seductive man...

I felt relaxed lying inside his embrace. I finally fell asleep.

It's morning. I opened my eyes suddenly as a sudden move alerted me. I saw something hilarious. Killion had woken up and was staring at me surprised.

I saw his red cheeks and his eyes widened while his lips were pouted. He was nervous. I was still dizzy from sleeping but I placed my hand on Killion's shoulder. He seemed healthy.

"Killion how do you feel?"

"S-Silvia ... I am sorry!"

"Eh?"

"I took advantage of you and slept with you but I don't remember it!"

"What?What do you mean?"

"Please forgive me~"

"Killion!"

"Y-yes?"

" Its good that you are healed"

"Eh?"

"You had a fever."

Killion blushed harder and looked at me up and down. Seconds later he was tomato red. I looked down and realized that I was still naked.

I covered my body with the blanket and swept my bangs back leaving my forehead exposed.

"Killion..."

"Yes?"

"Did we know eachother before?"

"Why do you ask?"

"At the battlefield you said: I see... So you don't remember me... Before you passed out."

"Do you really not remember me?"

"No... Six years ago I injured my head and fell in a coma. I woke up a month ago and didn't remember anything from six years ago. Recently I had terrible headaches... In order to stop the pain I had to sacrifice some important memories. I remember everything except the person most important to me."

"I see..."

"For some reason I have a connection with you. Like an oath."

"Like a knight's oath?"

"Similar... We are bonded... I am bound to protect you Killion."

Killion widened his eyes and then got a serious expression.

"I don't know..." He said."either way, I like you."

"Are you sincere?"

"I am!"

"Will you never mistreat, bully or hurt me?"

"As long as I live... No... Even in death, I will never do anything like that."

"Then I agree to marry you...When we return to the empire let's get engaged."

Two weeks later we returned to the capital victoriously. As we passed through the streets, citizens kept throwing flowers in the air.

The whole city smelled like roses...

The smell was making me dizzy. I felt my insides twist and turn and I felt disgust. I tried to cover my mouth.

I usually loved the smell of roses but now I felt like I would vomit...
