"We'll camp out here."Inanna decided,looking to Arthur for approval to which he just ignored her.

Venus sat on a log as Arthur walked over and checked on her for the millionth time"I said I'm fine,Arthur!"Arthur hummed"maybe the poison is less effective?"

Willa hid a laugh as she sharpened her sword,Venus was utterly embarrassed by being mothered by a exe prince Doctor.

"Arthur?"he nodded"why do you hate monsters?"everyone stiffened,Arthur frowned"they're the reason for the war,the reason so many died.the reason my sister didn't make it.."he summed up,his eyes seeming distant.

"She was murdered by a monster,it's the reason this all started.and it's not stopping till the murderer is found and killed for their crimes,I'm hoping it's me who gets to slice that bitch's throat."Venus yelped as Arthur realized how hard he was holding onto her arm.

"S-sorry,it happens.i didn't bruise you right?"Venus shook her head"why are you so sure it's a monster?"The Demons stayed silent for a moment"you don't trust a monster."Inanna mumbled"it's like..a rule.even when we reasoned with the monsters we weren't allowed to have friendships with them,we were always distant and untrusting."

Venus stood up"that's not fair though,how can you treat monsters like that?"Willa glared at her"listen real closely to that statement you just said."

Venus groaned"whatever."she then sat back down,Arthur decided not to get very close.

The group was sleeping as rain fell on them,making Venus miserably cold.

Suddenly there was lightning and a loud wail making her sit up"what was that?"Willa asked,grabbing her sword.

They then looked up,incoming was this creature"look out!"Inanna shouted making the others get out of the way except for Arthur who didn't quite hear her.

The thing then smacked right into him,slamming him against the ground and knocking the air out of him"are you ok!?"everyone asked at once.

Arthur groaned"what is this thing..?"he moved it off him,a flash of lightning showed it to be almost human.

It had a human like body but a blueish tint to its skin,small horns stock out of it's shaggy black hair and on its back we're shinged and broken raven wings.

"Damn monsters."Arthur grumbled as he stood up,Venus walked over and tried to shake the monster awake.

She pulled her hand away to see blood"Arthur,it's hurt!"Arthur rolled his eyes"and?we should go before it wakes up."

Venus stood up"I thought you said you'd help anyone in need!"Arthur sighed"a monster is different,Venus!"Venus glared at him"it's still a human being at heart!please,just do it!"

Inanna shook her head"we aren't letting a monster into the group,who knows what they'll do to a human!"Venus looked down at the shivering body"Arthur,you wouldn't let anyone else die.right?"

Arthur looked to the ground as a silence spread through the group,he then grumbled"fine,I'll see what I can do."he then grumpily walked over.

He placed his hands on the monster's forehead and chest,the light coming from his hands again.

The monster gasped and punched Arthur,he groaned and clenched his face"hey,I just saved your life dumbass!"the monster then tried to fly away,only to fail.

"There,it's done.now let's go."Inanna ordered,Venus of course ignored her and walked up to the monster on the group.

"Hey,it's ok.are you scared?"the monster growled at her,showing it's fangs"get away from me you good for nothing Demon."

"Well,your wings are still beaten up.either you keep fighting this good for nothing Demon or you come with us,we'll keep you safe."Arthur gaped"we are not letting that thing travel with us,Venus!"

Venus ignored him"what's your choice?"the monster sighed and stood up"fine,I'll go with you guys.but I don't need protection!"

Inanna sighed"why is everyone tagging along these days?"
