The group continued on their way,Arthur staying uncomfortably close to Venus.

"So..your the Demon prince?"Arthur sighed"yes,but you shouldn't call me that."Venus hummed"why are you a doctor,shouldn't you be with your dad?"

"Well,I'm better at helping people then fighting them.this place is the farthest from the border so I'm a good distance from those annoying"your majesty's"and those revolting monsters!"Venus scouted away,this guy was a bit scary when mad.

Arthur let out a breath"sorry if I scared you,it's just..hard being the Demon prince."Venus smiled softly"it's ok,Arthur."

Arthur looked Venus up and down"you're not in pain,right?"Venus shook her head"no I'm fine,you really didn't have to come along if you hate monsters so much."Arthur waved away the statement"everyone here hates monsters."

Venus stared at Arthur's hands"how did you do that glowing thing?"Arthur looked at his palms"well,Demons have magic to say the least."Venus nodded"and that's why we aren't humans."Inanna stated.

Venus rolled her eyes"sorry but in my world,when we think of demons we don't imagine people who look like us."Arthur chuckled"well we thought humans had evolved past what we looked like when we entered Besinning."

Venus tilted her head"Besinning?"Willa nodded"that's the name of this place,monsters used to be all that roamed here.as common as rabbits."Venus whistled"how did you guys survive stuff like that snake?"

"Well,most monsters could talk and be reasoned with.even then,it wasn't long till we met that bastard Typhon."Arthur grumbled"you guys are acting like you've met him."

The Demons looked between each other"well...like I said:aging is different here,we don't technically die of old age.we only die in battle,we found that out the hard way."Inanna mumbled.

Venus sighed"why couldn't this place be simple?"she groaned,Inanna smirked"life is funny that way I guess."
