Hello again, I see you have decided to stay and watch my life. I don't know why you would wanna keep reading. My life has been unusual since moving into this house, and quite annoying. The house smells of rotting flesh and there's a load noise made when the golem's stone feet hit the floor as she walks around at night, and to make it worse another one joined my lil freak show today.

     Jimmy sighed as he walked through the front door, he had just had a long day at work and plopped down onto the couch. Without any warning he was pounced on by Amelia and Gromm, they both tried to nuzzle him. The pain from stone rubbing against him and the smell of rotten flesh got to him and he sat up. He decided to go hide from them in the garden. 

     As soon as he got through the hole in the shed he was a little shocked to see that it was night. He could've sworn it was the middle of the day. He heard Amelia and Gromm shout his name and getting closer, so he decided to run as far as he could. He never knew how big this garden actually was. It felt like hours as he got deeper into the garden, if it could even be called that. 

"How big is this place?!" He shouted to himself.

     Suddenly he realized he was lost, and didn't know how to get back to the entrance. He sat down and laid back. He looked up at the night sky, enjoying the quiet and peacefulness of the area. He almost fell asleep, but shot right up when he noticed something in the sky. There were two moons. He realized that it must be some more weird monster stuff. He heard rustling in nearby trees. 

"Which one of you is that?" He sighed and shouted. 

     There was no answer, so he walked closer to the trees and looked around. He couldn't smell Amelia, so he assumed it was Gromm. 

"Gromm?! Just come out!" He shouted at the tree. 

     He sighed and walked away, as he walked he could tell someone was jumping from tree to tree as they followed him. He got to a big lake.

     Then suddenly a ball fire shot out, and in it was some girl. She started kicking at him, but he managed to dodge it all. He couldn't see her that well, but was able to see a small feminine figure. She attacked him relentlessly.  He ran and hid behind a giant boulder.

"Who are you? Why are you attacking me?" He said as he stayed hidden.

"Huo Bao. You have entered my territory." She said with a Chinese accent.

"Well I'll just leave. Just point me to the exit and you'll never see me again." He said a little nervous.

"Exit? What are you talking about human?!" She shouted and threw balls of fire at him.

"Um to my home? To the mansion?" He replied a little confused.

"Home? Mansion? Do you mean the gate?" She growled at him. 

"Um the gate?" He slowly peeked out and was able to see what looked like huge plates on her head. 

     She had fur on her arms and legs and a long tail, she had fire blazing out of parts of her body as she stared at him.  She ran at him to go and punch him, but he managed to trip her into the lake. Her fire went out and she looked up at him helplessly. She looked like she was about to cry almost.

     He walked over and helped her up, he could her a lot better now. The things he thought were plates were actually ears. He helped her out of the water and they both sat down. 

"Thanks for helping me I guess" She pouted.

"Um no problem, so where are we?" He asked.

"Hm? This is the Border Forest." She looked at him confused. 

"The What?" He asked.

"This forest is the only way to travel between the human world and the monster world, gates were set up all over both worlds." She thought he was an idiot for not knowing. 

"My new house is a gateway to this place? Wait, if this is the border then why are you here?" He looked at her. 

"Well I wanted to go see the human world, but I kinda got lost" She let out a nervous laugh.

     He sighed, knowing exactly where this was heading and didn't even wanna wait till they got out to ask her it, so he just looked at her.

"You wanna stay with me?" He asked.

"Why?!" She had a tiny blush. 

"Well do you have anywhere to live in the human world? Or even know anyone there?" He asked her. 

"Well no." She replied. 

"So are you coming with me or not?" He stood up. 

"I guess" She stayed down.

"Then get up." He smiled at her. 

"Um I can't" She sighed. 

"Why's that?" He asked. 

"Well when you tripped me into the water I twisted my ankle." She glared at him.

     He sighed and picked her up onto his back. He tried retracing his steps till he got to landmarks he could recognize. He carried her for what felt like a few miles. 

"So what are you?" He wanted to know more. 

"A Hinezumi, simplest way for a stupid human like you is martial artist fire mouse." She grinned down at him as he carried her. 

     Just as he was about to give up a giant golem ran at them, Huo Bao let out a scream thinking the golem was coming to kill them. He sighed and told her about Gromm and Amelia. She had a look of anger in her eyes when he told her that he lived with other girls. Gromm took them both home to the mansion. 

"Who is that?" Amelia stared at the girl on his back. 

"I am Huo Bao, this man's wife." She glared back. 

     Gromm and Amelia both stared at her shocked and he dropped her by accident from hearing what she just said. 

"What makes you think that?" Gromm glared down at her jealously.

"He beat me in battle, by Hinezumi law I am his wife or servant. I refuse to be a servant, so I am his wife." She smiled happily. "Though we'll have to wait till I'm old enough for the ceremony."

"Um can I refuse?" Jimmy asked. 

"Well I could be your Baohu." She pouted. 

"What's that?" He wanted to know. 

"Basically body guard." She kept pouting.

     He smiled and agreed to let her be his Baohu. It was clear to Gromm and Amelia that she preferred being his wife, but not to him. He smiled and went his room, face planting into a pillow and passing out. He knew that his life is never gonna go back to being normal again.
