"Mommy, is there a monster underneath of my bed?" Little Evan asks, looking at his mother with a terrified expression.

"Oh, Evan. There's nothing down there. It's just your imagination," his mother replies softly, brushing her son's raven hair.

"But I keep seeing him everynight!" Evan hides himself underneath his blanket. "And he even said that he wanna be my friend! But I don't want to!"

"It's just a little nightmare, sweetie. No need to be afraid about it," she says calmly, slowly pulling the blanket, revealing the little boy's tiny body.

"He's always there! He wants me, mommy!" Evan pulls back his blanket and shivers with fear. "Can you please stay the night with me?" He mumbles, for he knows that the creature underneath of his bed would come out once his mother left his room.

"Evan, mommy have to sleep with daddy for the night. You don't want to see daddy being angry, right?" His mother asks, as the five-year-old peeks from his blanket. Everyday and everynight, it is the same thing that always happens in his house; his mother and father always ended up in an argument, only because of his father who has been hanging around with this so-called 'Stella'. He even asks his mother who is Stella, but she replies with a disappointed look saying that Stella is just a girl that his father befriends with---though his mother believes that her husband and Stella's relationship could be more than friends, which causes her to suspect that he and Stella might be dating.

"Is daddy alright? He is always angry with you," Evan mutters, his brown eyes staring at his mother, who is about to cry when she remembers that she caught her husband kissing Stella underneath the light of a lampost. That really drove her mad at the time, but at the same time, she tried to be calm, even though envy was slowly burning inside of her.

"Your daddy . . . " she pauses, thinking the right words to answer her little child's question. "Your daddy is just---tired. Yes, he is very, very, very tired." His mother fakes a smile, wiping a tear that is rolling down her cheek.

The little boy just stares at his mother, as he feels a deep sadness within him, seeing how much pain his mother is in.

"Nothing to be worried about, my son," she says. "Mommy and daddy are fine. But whatever happens, always remember that mommy is always with you, my sweet Evan." She gives a kiss on her only son's forehead. She gets herself up, turning off the lights and switches on Evan's owl-shaped nightlight.

"Goodnight, sweetie," she says, closing the door. "Goodnight, mommy," the little boy says back.

After his mother closes the door, he quickly grabs his flashlight and turns it on. He holds it tightly, as he looks down underneath of his bed. The place there is dark, and lots of his toys (and even his mini-sized hockey stick) are under there.

"Where are you?" He whispers as he keeps searching for the 'monster'.

"Are you looking for me?" A deep, spine-tingling voice makes the boy gasp with shock. He slowly looks up, and sees a dark figure standing face-to-face with him. He gulps, feeling the tiny hairs on his neck stand on its end.

The dark figure itself is creepy; tall, grinning with his rows of shiny white sharp teeth, long claws on his hands and feet, and strangely but terrifying blue snake-like eyes that glow in the dark. The figure has bent down to get a better view of the small child. Even though it is dark, the lightnings that crackle from outside and the sounds of thunders roaring with fury is summing up the little boy's fear. He even gets the chance to see some parts of the figure when lightning flashes behind the window of his room.

"Wow, what long arms you have," Evan stutters.

"To hold you better, child," the figure answers.

Evan turns away from watching at the dark figure's arms to the figure's ears

"Wow, what huge ears you have."

"To hear you better, child," he answers.

Next, Evan turns away from watching at the dark figure's ears to the figure's bright blue snake-like eyes.

Evan gasps with horror. "What huge eyes you have."

"To see you better, child," the figure replies.

Lastly, Evan turns away from watching at the dark figure's glowing eyes to the figure's teeth.

"What huge teeth you have."

"To eat you better, child," the figure grins, and opens his mouth, revealing his long tongue and the foul smell of his rotten flesh-like breath is slowly making the boy nauseous. Droplets of pitch black saliva drools from his mouth, as both of his hands grab the helpless little boy.

"P--please! D--don't eat me!" Evan screams in fear, struggling himself to let himself free. "Oh, I'm not going to eat you. You're too precious and valuanle to be eaten alive! But . . . !" The dark figure puts a long clawed-finger on the child's tiny lips. Evan looks up towards the creature's face, although it is dark because of the heavy rain outside.

"One day, you'll be mine, my little child! All mine . . . " The figure puts the boy down on his bed, and laughs as he suddenly disappears into black-coloured dust particles in the air.

The boy is dumbfounded, and he quickly opens his door, running into his parents room while he cries along the way.

So, what do you guys think? A horror fanfic of Vanoss × Terroriser :)

I'm trying to make the chapters as long as about 800 to 1200 words . . . Because I'm too tired making long chapters 😂

Also, tell me whether I should continue doing this or not 😉
