The next morning Yuri wasn't there like she always was, I dismissed it as her sleeping in or something along those lines, nothing to be worried about. Another weird thing was I haven't seen my dad in a while, don't get me wrong it's awesome, but weird. I decided to head down stairs and wait for Yuri on the couch, I wake up early, always have,  so I wasn't in a rush to get ready for school. I was about to fall back asleep when I heard a loud thud I looked over the couch to see my monster friend in a state of shock at the bottom of the stairs. "What happened Yuri?" I walked over to her. "I fell down." She pouted. " Yuri are you kidding me? You are smarter than literally any human ever, and stronger than a herd of raging bulls and your pouting because you fell down the stairs." "Yes." She responded. "You are another level of dork."

Time skip because I said so

On the way to school Yuri hummed a song, it sounded familiar but I couldn't quiet put my finger on it . Oh well.

It was finally time to head to the literature club, Yuri has gotten better at keeping her presence under wraps but she slipped up a bit. I was greeted by Monika and Sayori, "Did you bring your monster friend back today Natsuki?" Monika asked teasingly, "Actually, I did." I said as Yuri jumped from my blazer pocket and, well, you know the drill. "Nice to see you both again." Yuri said as she waved at the two girls. "So you weren't just I dream I had!" Sayori shouted. "I'd hope not." Yuri giggled.

Just like yesterday everything went smooth, Yuri was getting along well with everyone in the LIT club, thought I couldn't help but feel a little jealous she was spending more time with Monika and Sayori than with me, Monika asked literally every question you could ask a monster, and Sayori was just happy to have a new friend. But, that's alright, yeah it's fine. Oh who am I kidding it's not fine why can't she just stop being a brick brain and notice that I like her. 

Another time skip, dang i'm abusing my power.

When I got home my dad still wasn't there, so that's nice. I decided to head straight to my room as usual and sit down on my bed.

"Hey Yuri?"

"Yeah?"

"I think I might have a crush on someone."

"Oooo! Who is it? Tell me! Tell me!"

"I'm not going to tell you!"

"Then why did you say you had a crush?"

"Because I was hoping you could give me some advice."

"Natsuki your asking a literal hell-spawn for love advice."

"Yeah yeah I know, but I figured your really the only person I can turn to."

"Well, I would say just go for it, let them know you like them." Yuri said, "But what if they reject me?" "Then move on, anyone who rejects you is to stupid for you anyway." "Thanks, Yuri."

"And now that your gone Natsuki can be happy, happier than ever before. I will make sure of it. Besides, it's not like i'm abusing my power as a monster, lets see here, drug usage, abusing your own child, oh and so much more. You deserve this pal. And i'll make sure you get exactly what you deserve." Yuri said as she loomed over the corpse of a now dead man, still in a frenzy of rage. Yuri laughed sinisterly and walked away.
