Chapter 39

Hello, I am here to say thanks to @TNMTplay4487 who let me use her OC Issa Rappu!

? POV

"This is a neat necklace man. Where'd you find it?"

"I found that little glowing stone while taking a walk through the forest, and took it to a guy I know to make it into a necklace. Figured it'd look nice on top of the chain you wear for your shows."

"You thought right dude. Thanks."

Yuri's POV

"I never noticed it was cracked." I looked at the gem residing in my arm. "See, I still know more about you then you know about yourself." Monika stated proudly. "That's kinda creepy." Sayori said sitting down on the couch. Monika sighed. "It's not creepy! It's called being a mother." I stared at her. "Your not my biological mom though." Monika glared at me. "With as much time I spent parenting you I might as well be your biological mom." She said blankly. I have to admit it's fun making her question her parental authority, but in all honestly I still treat her with the same respect I used to when I was a kid. "Anyway, why is it being a tad bit cracked such a big deal?" I said getting back on topic. "What's the matter is we don't know what could happen to you, or to anybody who might stumble upon the missing piece!" She said pointing at the ship's floor like it did something wrong.

Natsuki stumbled out of the hallway with two pieces of paper in hand and a happy expression. She shook my arm violently, repeatedly saying my name. "Yuri, okay, guess what?" Natsuki finally started to get on track. "Hm?" I turned towards her. "No, no you gotta guess so I can tell you you're wrong." Natsuki explained like that was a normal sentence. "Okay?" I paused for a second. "You found a talking chimichanga." I said, making Sayori snicker and Monika smile a bit. "Nope! I got us two tickets to a concert." Natsuki said holding up the papers and shoving them in my face with a smile. "Ooh. Well, when is this concert?" I asked setting my hand on the pinkette's head for no apparent reason. "Tonight. I had to get them last minute for cheap." Natsuki explained. "Fair enough." I shrugged.

Natsuki had dragged me into our room to tell me all about the concert, after that our conversation got way off track. "Hey Yuri?" Natsuki asked setting the tickets aside. "Yeah?" I looked over to her as the crawled onto the bed and sat down next to me. "Have you ever thought about, maybe, ending up marrying me?' She asked, awkwardly rubbing her upper arms. "Yeah, I do, a lot actually." I said, it'd be a lie to say I wasn't daydreaming of our wedding as a spoke. "Really?" Natsuki looked at me, I don't think I've ever seen her blushing this intensely before. "Mhm. It's always been more of a whim, but I would really love to get married in the future." I started to ramble. "I think the idea of you being by my side for my entire life is, wonderful, you're my world after all." I paused. "But on the other hand, I don't think I can handle that much adorableness on the daily." I added with a smile. Natsuki's eyes sparkled. Her mouth slowly curved into an embarrassed smile as she stared at me with love, she practically tackled me with a hug, smiling brightly. May I note that although said hug almost knocked me over, it did not. I giggled. "Y'know you make it very hard to resist calling you a cutie." I said returning the hug. "Maybe I'll let you call me cute, just once." Natsuki said resting her head on my shoulder. "Oh, wow, really? I must've said all the right things then, huh?" I said landing a kiss on her forehead. "Well, yeah. I mean, I had no idea that such a beautiful, nice, and all around perfect woman genuinely wants to marry me that much."  Natsuki responded happily, little did I know she was slowly climbing into my lap. "Eheh.. You really think that highly of me?" I asked, dawning my own awkward smile now. Natsuki nodded, pushing me down onto the bed and resting her head on my breasts, laying down on top of me. "I'm not about to blow off a chance to call you what you are without consequences, cutie." I said, giving the girl ontop of me a gentle squeeze. "Oh. I never said there wouldn't be consequences." Natsuki sat up, still ontop of me, with a sly smile. "Well if the consequence is what I think it is then I'd say it's not too bad." I winked. Natsuki raised her brow grabbing onto the collar of my shirt. She looked at the clock. "Oh, time to start getting ready for the concert!" She got off me. "You knew that would happen, didn't you?" I asked sitting up. Natsuki smiled to herself. Yeah, she knew.

Natsuki dragged me across the grass, Monika and Sayori had dropped us off a bit earlier. It was a outdoor concert, huge stage. The place was crowded, to say the least. After a few minutes someone walked out on the stage. She had a microphone and an absurdly tomboyish aura so I can only assume she's the 'Rapsuki' Natsuki was talking about earlier. Hm. Rapsuki and Natsuki sound oddly alike. Natsuki looked excited. "Yo everyone! Thanks for coming out here tonight. But without further ado, lets get thi-" I started to tune the girl out. I was more focused on that jewel around her neck. It's the missing piece of the crystal. I have to tell Monika. "Hey Nat I have to make a call real quick, I'll be right back." I whispered to Natsuki. "Okay, just hurry back." She said kissing my cheek.I nodded and walked through the crowd.

"Alright, just enjoy the concert, I'll handle it." Monika said, hanging up on me before I could protest. Well it should be happening any second now. What's this 'it' you ask? A Council security guard rushing me with a two amp shock rod. I've failed here so many times that i've memorized the event , i've actually never gotten past this if I recall.  Oh I can here his footsteps now. In three, two, one. I turned behind myself and grabbed the rod's handle, ripping it away from the guard before knocking him upside the head with it. Yeah he's probably dead, two amps is far more than enough to kill any human. Well i've never gotten this far, so anything that happens now I swear on my heart, and my back up heart, I had no idea that it was gonna happen.

I poked Natsuki, she jumped before turning around and playfully scoffing at me. She looked back towards the stage, the redhead on stage finished her song, the golden chain around her neck that spelled 'Rappu' almost smacked her in the face when she went to take a bow. "Okay, I'm not the biggest fan of newer rap, but I have to admit, the girl has bars." I said crossing my arms. "Why don't you like new rap? It talks about the same murder, drugs and stuff." Natsuki asked. "Because when older rappers said they were going to go out, get drunk, and commit murder they fucking meant it, and they did it." I said doing Monika's signature finger point thing. Natsuki looked at me like I was crazy. I mean, I am, I'm not going to say anything. I looked back towards the stage.

The girl on stage played a few more songs, she looked like she was having even more fun than her audience. By the end of it all the D.O.P.E was parked behind the tree line. Monika greeted us once we got inside. "Alright, so here's the plan," Monika started, making sure everyone was listening. "We'll tranq her and bring her on the D.O.P.E, get the crystal fragment back, do some explaining, and since she'd know too much by then, she'll travel with us." Monika explained, I have to admit, it's a very well thought out plan. "Are we all on board?" She asked, mostly to me and Natsuki. We both nodded. "Okay! Let's get going." Monika clasped her hands.

"Well, goddamnit." Monika said, frustrated. Ms. Rappu had two guards. "Yuri-" "Gotcha." I darted out from the spot me and Monika had found, the two poor men only caught a glimpse of purple and black before they were both out cold. Finally I grabbed the tranq dart out of my pocket and stuck it in our guest's shoulder. She was still and silent for a few seconds before she fell down face first. I took the dart from her shoulder and threw her over my shoulder. "Well, that works." Monika shrugged.

I sat Ms. Rappu down on our couch. I decided to temporarily hide the more monstrous parts of myself so when she awakened she wouldn't be too scared. "So, we just wait for her to wake up?" Natsuki asked giving me a hug from the side. I nodded. "I wonder how long it'll take." Sayori budded in. "A few seconds, most likely." Monika said. "I only put in enough anesthesia to keep her out for a few minutes." She added. "Oh, that makes sense." Sayori said with a smile. As if it was on cue, our guest woke up. Naturally terrified. "Wh- what the hell?! Where am I? Who are you guys?" She asked her questions, twisting into a ball on the couch. "Okay, we get you're nervous but calm down, I'll explain." Monika said before clearing her throat. She began to tell Ms. Rappu our story.

"She doesn't look like a monster though." Issa, who told us her first name somewhere in the middle of explaining. "Wanna see?" I asked with a smile. Issa nodded. I exhaled, letting go of the disguise. Issa went silent. She bobbed her head with an impressed expression for a while before speaking again. "Well, yeah I believe now." She said. "So this jewel is the missing piece to that gem think in her arm?" She asked Monika pointing at her necklace. "Yes, so would you mind giving it back?" Monika asked. "Not at all! Here you go bro." Issa ripped the fragment off of the necklace and handed it to Monika. Well, she tried to, the second it was in the air it shot towards me and Natsuki. I tried to catch it, but the fragment ripped through the palm of my hand, leaving a large hole in it. The fragment went for Natsuki, and went into her arm. "What?! Why'd it go for me?!" Natsuki shouted, shaking her arm. "I have no idea what's going on, but why is no one concerned about Yuri?! Her hand just got impaled by a crystal!" Issa yelped, holding her head. "Oh don't worry, this is nothing, see? The bone and muscle tisse is already beginning to repair." I pointed to my palm that was slowly putting itself back together. "Yeah, okay then." Issa calmed down. "Okay now that, that's all settled. Natsuki I need to examine the crystal fragment that went into your arm, follow me. Issa, make yourself at home. You're gonna be staying a while." Monika said before grabbing Natsuki and dragging her downstairs. Issa looked towards me. "Well,

if I'm stuck here, might as well get to know everyone here. Right?"
