"Chase, wake up..."

As i feel the soft touch in my fur my mind starts to wake up, my eyes start to open...

And i get myself ready, for what's to come...

"Phew, thank goodness. You're finally awake now" someone says as they walk backwards a little bit.

I open my eyes, my vision was still a bit blurry, but i somehow figure out who the mysterious figure was...

"E.... E-everest???" i said as i finally have a better vision.

"Yup. We're almost in russia, so Ryder ordered me to wake you up. We do need all of the help we can get." she says as she smiles slightly at me.

"Oh... i see, okay." i said as i stand up on all fours and walked up to the main deck of the PAW Patroller.

As i walk in, i see Robodog driving as he was programmed and Ryder scanning something through his phone.

"Oh hey Chase, good morning." Ryder said as he puts aside his phone in the side and looks at my direction.

"Good morning Ryder." i said as i sit on my usual spot while Everest sat next to me.

"Good morning Ryder sir." i said as i look at his direction.

"You look... puzzled, something troubling you?" he asked me as he examined my confused state.

"Yes actually, i kinda need someone to explain what's going on..." i replied

"Why Chase? Had some kind of memory loss or somethin'?" Everest said as she takes a nibble of her liver flavored dog biscuit.

"Yeah.... I was probably sleeping for too long..." I said as i scratch my head.

"Well we have been in the road for a whole day now..." Ryder said as he takes a sip of his coffee.

"A DAY?!" I said as i jumped out of my sit in disbelief, just how many hours was i sleeping for?!

"Mhm, it only took you a few hours halfway in the trip to go to dreamland" Everest said.

"Oh i see, goodness i'm such a heavy sleeper..." I said as i placed my paw in my face in embarrassment.

"Kinda reminds me of Rubble and Zuma somehow..." She says as she stare at me.

"Hey! I don't snore!"

"Well, you do have a point there hehehehe."

"Anyways, what happened while i was sleeping? I asked Ryder as i turn my head to face him.

"Okay... So..." Ryder starts off...

*Flashback*

*Ryder's POV*

"Ahh!!! That's good quality coffee right there!" i said as i grab the brewed coffee from the coffee machine, i knew getting this coffee set deal was worth it!

"Wait what's coffee had to do with happened yesterday?" Chase suddenly asks.

"Yea Ryder..." Everest added

"Hey don't judge me! I was just starting off the flashback!" i refuted.

*"Whatever you say captain......." Chase said as he sits comfortably in his seat.*

After that i went up the escalator thinking about how Chase was doing... He has been there for almost a day now, but as i got up, my worries fade as i see Chase there sleeping with Skye. I smile.

"REALLY?! REEEEEEEE I'M FANGIRLING!!!!!" Everest said as she jumps up and down.

"YOU SAW THAT?! PLEASE IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK" Chase refuted.

"Yeah yeah..... Anyways let me continue"

I didn't want to wake up the pups so i continued on what me and Chase we're doing. As i was scanning through the computer, i can see what Chase was doing that night, which was still a big surprise to me since i never knew Chase could do that.

Anyways as i did my work i saw a little red thing beeping in russia. As i clicked it, it was info about the man! It was exactly what we're looking for!

*End of flashback*

"After that, i went to wake all of you up, tell you guys about the info and went there with you two." i said as i wrap up the story and drink my coffee.

"Ohhhh i see.... Somehow everything is coming back to me now hehehe" Chase said as he takes a nibble of his pup treat.

"Hey Robodog, are we there yet?" i asked.

*Bark* *Bark* ( We're almost there Ryder sir.)

"Oh i see, thanks!" 

*A few minutes later*

"We're finally here!!!!" Everest said as she runs for the snowpile in the main town.

"You really excited huh?" Chase asked as he joined the husky in the snowpile.

"Mhm, i haven't experienced this kind of weather for god knows how many long! I've missed it" Everest says as she rolls all around the snow.

As we enjoy this peaceful moment, Chase suddenly remembers something.

"Hey Ryder, if we really want to go to where the man is, that means we have to go into the east side of russia, which has like some of the snowstorms and probably has a very dangerous environment, even the paw patroller can't handle, not to be rude but, how do you suppose we get there?" Chase asked

"Actually before we left i was able to get some help to be able to get there." i said answering to Chase's question.

"Really?!"

"That's awesome!" Everest added.

"Mhm, anyways i'm gonna go meet them, you two behave okay?" 

"Yes Ryder sir."

"Okay Ryder"

I then went my way to a nearby coffee shop just across the street. Then i saw a teen with a black coat with a pup relaxingly lying on his lap. I got closer, making sure everyone can't hear us.

"Hey Vlad."

"Hey Ryder."

*Chase's POV* 

"What's taking Ryder so long.." i said as i look up from the snowy ground."

"Relax Chase, he's only been gone for a minute, i'm sure Ryder's just chatting with him..." Everest said reassuring me.

"Yea... you're probably right." i said...

Then i got hit by a snowball.

"Hey!" i screamed as i see Everest holding another one ready to throw at me.

"SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!" She said declaring war.

"Oh you're on!" i said as i hid behind a snowpile and prepared a snowball.

We then played for a little bit until Everest got tired and layed down facing upwards as i did the same, she laughed and told me something...

"You know, i never get to have fun like this back at my home" 

"Wait really?"

"Yea... Most of the time, i was lonely and very independent. I basically didn't know what to do, or what purpose i had back then." 

"Oh... sorry to hear that..." 

"Nah it's okay. Besides, i was kinda glad i didn't decide to go with my pack..."

"Wait... you had a pack?!" i said in disbelief, it's been so long since i've known someone who was in a pack.

"Mhm, although it was a very boring and sad one. I was always an outcast and the least favored pup out of all my 10 siblings."

"YOU HAD 10 SIBLINGS?!" i stand up in disbelief..... again.

"Yea... although it sounds like fun having 10 siblings, it's not. Most of them just wanna hang and bang with other members of our group..." she said as she lowers her head."

"Oh..." i said as i sit back down.

"But... it's okay, since it's in the past now..."

"I guess i can say that having you here was a blessing to both us and you." i said with a smile.

"Yea..." She replied with a sweet smile facing each other.

"Hey pups!" Ryder said as he comes back to us with someone and a pup behind him.

"Hey Ryder!" Everest said as she gets up and walks to him

"Ryder sir, who's that behind you?" i asked curiously.

"The person i was looking for" Ryder said.

"Oh really?"

"Yup! Meet Vlad!" Ryder said as he pointed to the boy behind him

"Hey! i'm Vlad and these are my pups. Lucas, meet Chase and Everest!" Vlad said

"Hello! i'm Lucas the snow pup!"

"Hey Lucas i'm Chase"

"And i am Everest"

"And guess what pups, Vlad here also has they're own paw patrol!"

"Really Ryder?" i asked

"Wow that sounds cool!!!" Everest exclaims

"Yea! Of course we got the inspiration from you guys! Because we also wanted to help people in Russia and in the lower parts of asia!" Lucas replied

"That sound Amazing! I mean we actually got noticed by another country." I said

"Oh by the way how many are you guys in the team?" i asked

"Well... We have only 5 members, I'm a Scout pup, We have an underwater pup, we have twins that has different roles, one is an Construction pup and the other is an Rescuer pup. Last but not the least we have an Researcher pup!" Lucas Explained

"Wow!" Everest said

We then talked a bit more until Vlad explained what we were gonna do, he will let us borrow one of his Snow Mobile's and we will return it later when we finish the mission. Sounds easy right? Well it turns out that driving a snow mobile is WAY harder than it looks. It was HEAVY! But Ryder got the hang of it and we rode it saying our goodbyes to Vlad and Lucas.

We then Snow Mobiled our way through the snow to the location that was indicated on the Ryder's GPS. Good thing we actually have one.

"It seems like we're almost there pups, just a little more longer." Ryder reassured us.

"We know Ryder" said Everest

But then suddenly a snowstorm has appeared....

Things aren't looking good...

The snowmobile was covered in snow and Me and Ryder are starting to feel the cold.

"Hey you guys...... I'm not feeling so good...." i said slowly about to Faint.

"Just a little bit more Chase we are almost there!" said Ryder

Then The floor began to crack...

"Ahhhh!!!" Everest exclaimed

Ryder tried his best to dodge the cracks, but they were just to fast.... It caught up to us and we began to sink in the cold waters.

This is it. I thought....

I never imagined how i was gonna die.... but....

I woke up next to a warm source still dizzy about what just happened.

"Oh Chase! You're awake! Thank goodness" said a feminine voice

I rubbed my eyes to see Everest watching me with a worried look..

"Chase, you ok?"

"Yea Everest, i'm perfectly fine.... Where's Ryder and... Where are we....."

"Well...."

"So it seems that you are finally awake my boy?" someone said

"Glad to see you awake Chase" A familliar voice said

I looked to my right to see Ryder sitting next to a old but wise man.

"Ryder... Where are we?" i asked

"You are in my Humble snow igloo my boy!" said the man

"Snow.... igloo?"

"The house that i used to live in Chase. That's what it looks Like." Said Everest

"Oh... then who is he?" i asked

"I'm Professor Williams. The scientist that researched about the smartest dog..."

"So you're the person we've been looking for!" i exclaimed

"Wait... you found my message??? How???" The professor asked

"We found it while doing some expedition in the ruins near your lab." Ryder explaines.

"Oh ho ho, never knew that it would be found... But... That was from years ago, i'm still not sure if i should even tell the tales of what happened back then...." he explained

"But sir....." Ryder said defeated.

Although we found the professor, the message was ages ago... Now he's contemplating wether or not he should even share the information..... This is bad...

"Please kind sir, share it with us!" Everest pleaded.

"Yea! Even though it has been a few years since then, we won't know for sure the fenrir is still out there or even dead, please help us..." i said.

"Hmmmm you do have a point there... Okay what do you need to know?" 

"Thank you so much sir!" Ryder said.

Thank goodness. Now we can atleast learn something about the fenrir. I don't know why but somehow deep inside me, i know that that thing is still out there, and that we need to do whatever it takes to take it down.

Oh yea that reminds me.... I wonder how the others back at home are doing.....

*Marshall's POV*

It was a lovely afternoon, me and the pups decided to play at the beach cause we got no missions yet... Rocky and Zuma played around the water, although Rocky is still not budging, he was able to adjust a little thanks to Zuma. Tracker and Rubble are playing in the sand, which kinda surprises me since i've thought for sure he would be at carlo's. Me and Skye are just chilling at the bleachers.

It was great and all. But then we suddenly heard a scream...

"HELP!!! MY SON IS DYING??!!" said a woman

We all froze in our spots.... Someone.... Dying??!!

"What.... That's.... Impossible..." Skye mumbled

"Come on everyone, let's go check it out." I said

We slowly made our way to the source of the screaming....

And there he was... an 15 year old boy... covered in blood.... guts out.... no mercy....

"Who could have done this *sob* my son!!" the woman said

Police where at the sides observing the crime scene aswell as interviewing some of the residents.

Farmer Yumi said that her cows and sheep we're also slaughtered, while an old man exclaimed that he got scars from the monster.

"The fenrir...." i said quietly

"It can't be..." Skye said in disbelief

"Why?" asked Zuma

Yea... Why.... Why now??? Why is it attacking us at a time like this..... Ryder, Everest and Chase aren't even back yet...

What are we gonna do?
