Night has fallen on the land of Adventure Bay, lights lighten all over town, the skies are majestic and stars are twinkling, the moon shining with it's beautiful colors and charms. Townspeople are getting ready for they're slumber and so does our team of pups, well half of them. But still i think it's time to actually see what the pups are up to, shall we?

*Skye's POV*

A few hours have pass since after all of those horrible things have happened. Me, the others and Prof. Williams we're down in the lab scanning all of the info Marshall and Lucas got, well it was mostly Rocky and The Professor doing all of the work but i can still say we're helping any way we can. The sound of clicking keyboards and the repetitive scanning makes me real dizzy and hazy. I kept wondering when we will get some shut eye, but the thought of the condition of the others kept me awake and worried and the fact that Chase hasn't come back yet worries me the most.

"How you doing over there Rocky?" Prof. Williams asked.

"Well not so much. The papers Marshall gave us was a schedule of when the police are gonna be in and out of town, which may help us pinpoint an exact time to investigate town without worrying too much about getting caught." Rocky answered.

"Also, the hair and blood sample was hard to scan 'cause of the unknown circumstances and results it was giving us, we can't exactly tell what type it is." Addison added.

"Let me see those..." Prof. said as he goes to them.

Rocky then handed them to the Professor for better inspection. He then went to the computer and started to do some tests. While he was testing that Rocky and Addison talked about the papers while Everest and Lucas we're talking about what to do. Then i saw at the corner of my eye Marshall walking up to me probably to chat.

"Hey Skye" Marshall started.

"Hey Marshall, you need something?" i said.

"Nah nothing, just wanna talk to you that's all." Marshall said as an awkward and long pause went in the middle of our conversation.

But not until Marshall broke the awkward silence and asked me something.

"Hey Skye, you're worried about them aren't you?" Marshall asked.

"Yea i am... I just-" before i could even continue i got caught off.

"Why?" he asked.

"Huh?"

"Why are you worried?" 

"Why am i worried, why wouldn't you be? Half of our team is in custody and Chase is nowhere to be seen, of course i would be worried." i said.

"I know about that Skye, but you're really worried about Chase aren't you?" Marshall asked to be more clear.

"H-huh?" i said shocked.

How come Marshall always figures out about what me and the other pups feel? Is he like a psychic or something? 

"Come on Skye, it's obvious. I mean, you we're the one that kept asking the whereabouts of Chase earlier and you we're the one who had the most worried face on you." he said.

"Aren't you worried aswell? Like he is your best-friend afterall." i asked

"Well of course i'm worried and i understand how you feel for him and the others. But i always remind myself to stay calm and always have faith in the ones you love. They're gonna be just fine." Marshall answered with reassurance in his tone.

"More like Chase taught you." i said.

We both then laughed at the thought. 

"Hey Marshall, thanks for talking to me" i said.

"No problem, well i hope you at least feel a little better now." Marshall said.

"Yea you did" i reassured him.

After that we looked at the Professor's screen thinking he might've already come up with a conclusion.

"You got anything yet Professor Williams?" Rocky said as he comes up to him.

"It looks like some wolf DNA." Professor Williams said as he looks at us.

"Wolf DNA?" Everest questioned.

"Yup, i have a hunch it's the fenrir's." The Professor said.

"Really, how can be you so sure sir?" Addison asked.

"Well, the DNA results was familiar to the test results of the dog they we're experimenting on." Prof. added.

"You mean the dog that turned into a fenrir?" i said.

"Yup." Prof. said.

After that a few more tests here and there and then the professor decided that it was time to end the day.

"Okay pups, thanks for the hard work you have done today, you better get some sleep for tomorrow though. I'll just do some more research and lookout for anything suspicious." Professor Williams said as he stretches his arms and back getting ready for tonight.

"Okay, thanks again Professor, we couldn't have gotten this far without you're help." Rocky said.

"And thanks to you pups, for finding my message and helping me atone for our company's sins." The Professor said as he pets Rocky in the head.

We then said our goodnight's and goodbyes and went to the lobby of the lookout to sleep. There we're different colored bean bags that we could probably sleep in. We then went to a bean bag of our choosing and we're getting ready to slumber.

"I hope better things happen tomorrow." Lucas said.

"I hope so to." Addison also said.

"Don't worry everyone, i'm sure that tomorrow will have something good in store." Marshall reassured.

Even though he said that deep down, we all knew nothing good will be coming tomorrow. i guess Marshall still said that to give us high hopes or something. At least everyone is doing okay now. We then one by one fell asleep shutting our eyes and letting our tired bodies relax, well except for me. For some reason i couldn't sleep. Maybe because of my worrying state, maybe because i'm not tired. Whatever it is, i can't sleep because of it, so i decided to just take a walk around the forest beside town, maybe it can clear my mind or something. But i wish i didn't, i wish i just forced myself to sleep, because till this day, i'm still not sure whether what happened on that very forest was pure coincidence, an accident... 

Or just faith itself...

There i was walking around the forest clearing my mind on the whole fenrir situation. To be honest i'm still not sure why i'm doing this but the nature itself is beautiful. The trees giving that nice and cold breeze, the shadows displaying it's wonders below me, the echo's of crickets chirping and the smell of trees and nature itself amazes me even at night.

"Wow, this feels relaxing enough" i said to myself.

While i was walking through the forest's wonders like Alice from Alice in wonderland, i hear rustling, footsteps and light growls all around me. I started to panic because first i don't know what is going on or who is making those noises and second i don't have anything to fight back or to use for retreating. But then before i can process things in my mind things started to come out of the bushes. And when i saw those things....

I was wondering if this was the end?

I saw some wolves in different colors like grey, brown, white and black. And there we're a few of them, enough to make me a full course meal. They we're all howling at the fact that they finally found something to eat or to devour to be exact. The moment they laid eyes on me i knew my faith was sealed. I was gonna die being eaten by wolves, but one things for certain.

None of them we're the fenrir

As i looked into they're eyes with fear i scan all of them and reassured myself that none of them we're the fenrir. First off according to the Professor, the fenrir doesn't go in packs and second the fenrir is slightly bigger than normal wolves. So i can say for sure that none of these are the monster. But still, i feel my whole body shake and tremble to the thought that i was about to be wolf food. 

"Hey Everyone! I found dinner." one of them said.

"Let's hurry up and eat this one!" another one said as they lunge at me with they're claws and fangs out.

I close my eyes as they come near me. This is it i thought, i'm gonna die by getting eaten. Even though i'm still a pup, i still wanted to do so much more and i still wanted to do all of the things that are on my bucket list.

But then... when i opened my eyes... i saw...

It.

That menacing growl, the slight height difference between them...

It's the fenrir....

I'm not sure what i was doing but it seems like it was fighting those wolves, claws out, fangs being used for biting and howls and screams all heard from them. I froze to my spot scared of the outcome of this bloody battle. In the end the fenrir was able to kill some of them and scare the rest of them... After that it looked at me with an menacing glare and blood all over his mouth. Those Auburn eyes staring down at mine and his state and look made me shiver down to my core. I wanted to move but my body won't let me. It seemed like my body just made me stand there and look at this monster. I was scared, but not until it approached me and went closer to my face still looking through my eyes....

And it....

Licked me.....

Confusion struck me like a truck and my face was blushing out of embarrassment. Why would the fenrir do that i thought...

It then ran away from me going to the path i was taking.

But then after that i started to question myself... Who was the fenrir, and why would he protect me? No matter as i was relieved i got to see another day... After all of the things that happened back there made me really tired which was my goal afterall, so i went back to the lookout to finally get some shut eye.

But then something popped in my mind while i was walking back to the lookout.... Something that made me wonder the identity of the fenrir.... something that i will never find answers until when the time is right..

"Those Auburn eyes..." i said to myself.

Why do they look so familiar?
