Jin's POV 🌸

Once we made it and entered in the Poké Center, we setted our stuff down on a chair in the waiting room for a moment before setting our pokéballs down on separate trays for Nurse Joy to pick up and heal our pokémon.

I left Akami out of his pokéball though because I knew that he would be terribly frightened if I'm not by his side.

He hates being alone and I completely understand that very well because I was like that too before.

As I sat down on a chair, I picked Akami up and moved him to where his head was resting on my lap, like a pillow, now.

I grabbed a light, comfortable blanket out of my backpack and covered Akami up with it so he can stay warm while I wait for Nurse Joy to finish restoring the other five pokémon (that I have) back to health.

One reason why I covered Akami up with the blanket was because it was a bit cold in here. And he was still unconscious/asleep.

As Akami continued to rest, I laid my hand on Akami and started to rub his back soothingly.

I saw Akami smile before he curled up into a ball.

Akami has always liked it when I rub his back soothingly.

He's liked it ever since the day I met him.

It has always kept Akami calm and happy.

After waiting for 8 minutes, Nurse Joy appeared and handed my pokemon back to me.

"Thanks, Nurse Joy..." I said as I putted the pokéballs in my backpack so that they don't get lost or stolen.

"Anytime." Nurse Joy replied.

I looked over at Akami and picked him up once I setted my backpack down.

"Can I come with him while you heal him up?" I asked as I nodded my head at Akami. "He doesn't like being alone and always stays by my side so he doesn't feel scared."

"Sure." Nurse Joy replied. "Right this way..."

"Hey, Xavier? Watch my stuff for a minute so no one steals it or anything like that...I'll be back in a moment." I said as I looked over my shoulder at him.

Xavier nodded and gave me a thumbs up, letting me know that he's okay with that.

As I followed after Nurse Joy, she led me into a room behind the Pokémon Center.

"Lay him here..." Nurse Joy said as she gestured her hand over to a bed. I did so without asking why.

Then Nurse Joy did a few things and the bed became cased in glass before I knew it.

Light started to resonate within the machine lightly as Akami's injuries started to heal themselves up.

While Nurse Joy and I were waiting for the machine to heal up all of Akami's injuries, a question suddenly came into my head that I've been meaning to ask Nurse Joy before I forgotten about it until now.

"Hey, Nurse Joy?" I began.

"What is it?" Nurse Joy asked as she turned to look at me.

"I've been meaning to ask you this but...What do you call it when a Lucario suddenly mega evolves and goes berserk during a pokémon battle, even though the trainer doesn't have a Key Stone and the Lucario doesn't have a Lucarionite?" I asked.

"I think it's blind rage." Nurse Joy replied as she looked at the ceiling thoughtfully while scratching the side of her face. "Why do you ask?"

"Because that happened to Akami when I was having a pokémon battle with my friend, a few hours ago..." I said.

"Akami was battling with one of my friend's pokémon before he suddenly mega evolved unexpectedly and went crazy as he tried to hurt my friend's pokémon..." I began to explain.

"...I had to put a stop to the battle by asking Houndoom to use a fire-type attack on Akami in order to knock him out and stop him from trying to hurt my friend's pokémon any more before things got worse."

"It's a good thing that you did...." Nurse Joy replied. "If you hadn't done that...Your Lucario, Akami, would've probably tried to kill your friend's pokémon."

I nodded in agreement.

"The next time Akami goes out of control again, do the same thing like you did the last time...

Have a fire-type pokémon close by that way you can knock Akami out. It'll probably put a stop to the blind rage and to keep him from trying to attack you too." Nurse Joy said.

"It's alright. I can do that." I replied.

Then I focused my gaze back on Akami as his wounds continue to heal themselves up.
