As I continued thinking about the trainers that left me pokémon food behind, I suddenly heard someone coming and ducked behind a tree.

When the someone came into my view, I realized that it's only a pokémon trainer.

However, I was completely unaware that I was invading some other pokémon's home while I was watching the pokémon trainer, and that pokémon is not happy with me.

Pokémon Trainer's POV 🌸

As I continued walking through the woods, I sigh a little.

Houndoom happened to notice that I was feeling a bit bored so she suddenly grabbed on my sleeve and started to tug on it to get my attention.

I looked over at Houndoom.

Houndoom looked up at me while tugging my sleeve as she pointed out at something, that was hiding behind a tree, with it's tail.

"What is it, Houndoom? You want me to follow you over there and check something out?" I asked.

Houndoom nodded.

"Alrighty then...Let's go." I said as I followed after her.

Lucario's POV 🔮

As I watched, I suddenly got hit in the head by a wild Machoke, crying out in pain as I got knocked over after it hitted me.

Just when I thought I was gonna be knocked out, I suddenly saw a fireball whizz past me and hit the Machoke straight in the middle of it's chest as I scrambled away quickly.

"Alright, Houndoom! Let's finish this!" I heard a pokémon trainer say as she pointed at the wild Machoke.

Then Houndoom delivered it's final blow, knocking out the Machoke.

"Alright! You can rest now, Houndoom." The pokémon trainer said as she took out a pokéball and returned the Houndoom back inside the pokéball.

But, before the trainer was about to walk away, she suddenly noticed me.

I hid behind the tree as the pokémon trainer suddenly headed over to my direction.

"Is that what I think it is?" I heard the pokémon trainer say.

Then I heard the pokémon trainer's footsteps slow down a little as she slowly approached me.

"It is! Isn't that the Lucario someone made up a legend about?" I heard the pokémon trainer say as she squatted down to my level.

I looked up at the pokémon trainer and suddenly fell over on my butt before falling on my side.

"Hey! Are you okay?!" I heard the trainer say as she leaned over, with her hand outstretched to me, as she looked at me with her light brown eyes filled up with concern.

I backed away from her fearfully when she leaned forward a little bit.

"Hey, it's okay...I'm not gonna do anything bad to you. I promise." I heard the pokémon trainer say.

I squeezed my eyes shut and looked away from the pokémon trainer while I had my arm in front of me, protecting myself as I started trembling in fear.

The pokémon trainer seemed to have gotten the message because she sat down and scooted back a few inches away from me, in order to give me some room to move around and some personal space.

"Aww. Are you scared? It's okay..." I heard her say when I started to whimper in fear a little.

Then I heard her take something off and unzipped it as she started to rummage through it.

That made me a little bit curious as I opened my eyes to see what it is.

As I looked, I noticed that the trainer was looking through something in, what looks like, a bag.

"Found it!" I heard her suddenly say as she looked up while I quickly shutted my eyes again and had my arm in front of me, protecting myself as I looked away again.

My ears started to flatten a little as I started trembling in fear again.

"Hey, hey, hey....It's alright...I'm not gonna hurt you...I just wanna help you. I was only getting some food out of my backpack for you to eat....Besides. You haven't ate anything for days, haven't you?" I heard the pokémon trainer say.

I opened my eyes and looked over before shaking my head.

The pokémon trainer smiled and then setted something down.

"I figured as much....despite how weak and really thin you're looking. I could almost see your bones! And you even look like you hadn't eaten anything for months." She said as she chuckled a little.

I caught a whiff of something that smelled so good and delicious.

The smell was making me curious.

I looked over and sat up after lowering my arm that I was using to protect myself.

In the spot, where the pokémon trainer had setted something down, looked like some sort of pastry.

I inched a bit closer silently to get a closer look at it, sniffing at it curiously.

The sweet smell coming from it was making my mouth water a little.

As I crawled over to it, I picked it up and sat down before I took a small nibble at it.

Flavors suddenly danced in my mouth, making me want to have more of what I just bit into.

I started to eat the rest of the pastry-like thing or whatever it is as the pokémon trainer watched me.

After I ate it, the pokémon trainer was surprised.

"Dang...You must've been really hungry or something because you ate all of that in almost one bite." The pokémon trainer said.

I nodded in agreement as I looked at her.

The pokémon trainer smiled again as she petted me on the head.

I started to feel a little bit frightened again so I shutted my eyes and looked away as my ears flattened a little.

Then I felt something warm and soft wrap themselves around me.

I opened my eyes and looked, seeing the pokémon trainer pulling me close to her chest, as she started to hug (while cradling) me.

"It's okay, Lucario...You don't need to be scared. It's okay..." The pokémon trainer said as she began to shush me gently while rocking back and forth a little.

I sighed and started to relax a little until I felt a bit drowsy.

The warmth of that pokémon trainer's arms felt so soft and comforting.

It felt good.

And this is for the first time in my life, someone's actually hugging me again before the stupid legend was started up.

But, before I even knew it....I suddenly fell asleep in the pokémon trainer's soft, warm arms.

Feeling relaxation and calmness overfill me.
