Greetings, shadow readers! I just wanted to pop in and say that no, I haven't abandoned this story and I am actively (as in, today) working on the next chapters (there's only two left!). Hopefully the next one, the Monarch of Hate, will be out this month. No guarantees, though :)

The plot is getting screwy, which is why it's taking so long to write. I have to say, I'm not really liking how the story is playing out. The writing could be better, the characters aren't really there, and there's so many plot things to fix. Is this a case of inner critic? I'm not sure. What do you think? Why do you like the story?
