The following day, Benedict and Xavier made their way to the doctor's. They had a bloodtest to do and their first sonogram.

"I couldn't sleep last night" Xavier said. He almost lost Benedict once, he won't let it happen again.

Benedict gently patted Xavier on the head.

"Nothing is going to happen to us. We'll be alright, trust me"

"I know that but....what if CJ is driven crazy like Edward"

"Don't think like that. Edward was mentally ill. Cj is just upset. He'll find someone new and if he doesnt....he'll end up in jail for doing something he'll do"

Xavier sighed.

"That wasn't uplifting at all"

Benedict parks the car and turns to Xavier.

"Xav everything will be alright. You and I will be happy with our baby"

Xavier nodded. They get out of the car and make their way inside. Benedict was excited to see the first sonogram, he hopes the baby will be doing well.

"Appointment for Benedict and Xavier"

"Of course. Please wait in the waiting room"

The waiting room was empty. Benedict put his head on Xavier's lap and smiled at the man.

"Stop worrying babe" he says and Xavier smiles.

"I won't....for now"

Few minutes pass and a nurse opens the door to the waiting room.

"The doctor will see you now"

The couple walk behind the nurse, entering a room. Benedict smiled once he saw the sonogram machine in the corner.

"Are you ready to see our baby?"

"Yeah"

The doctor enters the room and smiles at them.

"Alright. Benedict, good to see you again"

"Same here. Let's get started"

Xavier watches as the doctor rubs some gel on Benedict's belly, followed by moving a remote shaped wand around the gel on Benedict's tummy.

"If you look at the screen you can see everything"

They look at the screen and Benedict gasped once he saw the small fetus inside him.

"See that? That's your baby"

Xavier smiled, looking at the screen. He and Benedict made that baby. That was their baby. He must protect them all costs.

Benedict held Xavier's hand and smiled at him.

"We did that"

Xavier's smile widened, feeling his worries wash away.

"We sure did"

"That's odd" the doctor said, Benedict and Xavier exchanged worried looks.

"What's wrong?" Xavier asked. The doctor moved the wand around and focused on the screen.

"One...two....three. I see three fetuses"

Benedict's eyes widened in shock while Xavier gasped.

"Triplets?!"

"This is the Dior 2019 fall menswear suit. As you can see, it's white and has a white silk sowed in sash that transitions into a train. This is suitable for your event" said the queen mother. She brought the designer and a few pieces to show Skye.

Skye smiled as he walked around the mannequin. The suit was beautiful and the train was going to be a great addition when they dance. The whole outfit just has royalty oozing out of it.

"This is wonderful. What tiara should I wear with this?"

Star smiled and clapped her hands twice. A maid entered the room, pushing a trolley with all sorts of tiaras.

"This is my personal collection. You might like something"

Skye looks through the tiaras. They were indeed beautiful but neither of them matched the vibe he wanted. Star's tiaras screamed LOOK AT ME while he wanted something subtle yet majestic. Plus most of them were pearl tiaras and Skye was looling for something....shiny.

"Maybe I'll go through the vault. Is that okay?" He asks Star. She chuckled.

"Skye the royal vault is yours now. Choose whatever you want. By the way, this will be my first state dinner as a queen mother, I feel so old"

Skye laughed softly.

"You're seasoned not old. I'll go find a tiara"

"Where's Prince?"

"In the garden with Sam"

Skye heads out to the vault. He hasn't been inside the vault since Prince showed him the luxurious jewellery three years ago. He enters his code and puts his thumb on the scanner. The steel doors opened and he stepped inside.

"Your Majesty" said a guard that was inside. Yes the vault was guarded, it made sense. Skye nodded at the lady and opened the tiara cabinet.

They all shimmered and shined in the fluorescent lights. One tiara caught Skye's eye and he smiled.

"Perfect"

Prince ran for his life in the garden, the toddler behind him chasing him with a hose, the cold water splashing on the King's back.

"I got you daddy!"

Prince fell down on the ground and he's practically bathed by his son. He laughs and grabs the hose, turning the water down.

"You got me Sammy. Now what"

"You fell so I king"

Prince laughed loudly. It seemed his son knew about his fate and destiny. He was proud.

"How about we go and find dada. I'm sure he misses you"

"Okay!"

The two royals walk towards the palace. Prince smiled when he saw Skye set up a table for them. He sits down and places Sam on his highchair.

"Hey you two. Did you have fun?" Skye asks.

"Mhm! We play water fight" Sam's happy voice spoke up.

Prince avoided his fiancé's gaze. Skye pats Sam on the head and places two small sandwiches on the toddler's plate.

They all watched as Sam took a bite and continued to eat. Skye sighed in relief.

"Looks like the weaning process is working. Soon he wont want milk anymore" Skye said, finishing off with a sad sigh.

"Then why do you look sad babe?" Prince asked. Skye sighed again.

"It means he's growing up and I'm afraid we won't be as close"

"Don't worry dada, I big boy now!" Sam chimed in. Skye smiled.

"Yes you are"

Prince held Skye's hand and gave him a smile.

"How about we go on a date tonight? I miss you"

Skye's face brightened with joy.

"Let's go"

Jonathan watched the couple sit in silence. They were so tense, it made him nervous. He puts two glasses of iced lemon tea on a tray and walked up to them.

"Lemon tea to brighten up your day" he says and Benedict began to cry. Xavier gasped and held him close.

"Hey hey, what's wrong baby?"

"We're having triplets and we're going to have our hands full" Benedict said between sniffles.

Jonathan sat down.

"Wait wait.....did you say.....Triplets?"

Xavier nodded.

"We went to our first sonogram and we discovered that we're having triplets"

"Wow.....that's....a lot of babies" he says and Benedict cried again.

"I'm going to fail!"

"You're not going to fail, you have me and your family. We'll be right here" Xavier said.

Jonathan smiled, he's glad Benedict found a supportive partner like Xavier.

"Hey Benny, look at the bright side. You'll have more babies to spoil and love"

Benedict's eyes shimmered with hope.

"That's a great way to look at it....yeah! I'm going to be a great parent!"
