Chapter 8-old meets new

"STOP"! Suddenly; someone pulled me back while someone took the knife from me. "Hey; what's the big idea"? "who do you two think your are"? I yelled. the white hedgehog with purple quills and purple eyes sighed. "Killing yourself is not the answers to your problems". "I don't care what it is". she said and burned the knife with her dark powers. "who are you"? I asked jerking away from the orange hedgehog with the black stripes and red eyes' grasp. "I'm raven; raven the dark". "and I'm ashes, ashes the hedgehog". "and you are"? "none of your business". I glared walking away. "I can sense you are troubled and bottle up your feelings a lot". says ashes. I turned around. "well; just who do you think you are"? they both were silent for 20 seconds. "Look; I don't have time for this crap". "I have to go find my friends; so I can save my sister; so beat it". I say walking ahead of them. "wait.....". said raven. "now what"? I say getting annoyed. (I swear. these people cant take a hint). "maybe we can help you". "why would you want to help me"? I spat out. raven walked closer. "look; I can tell you have trust issues". "yeah; so"? "well I use to as well until a true friend I met showed me not only to trust people again; but to value myself even more than I did before". "and you should too". we all stayed silent. "please let us come with you". "I work alone". I said glaring at them. "what are you afraid of"? asked ashes. "nothing". "your lying". he said back. "I can feel fear all around you". "why would I tell you anything"!?!? "you wouldn't understand"! I yell with fiery as I saw them give me a concern look. "what are you starring at"? I asked. I then felt something wet go down my face. I felt my face flushed. more tears went down my face. "just get lost". "I need to go find my sister". I said and started walking farther and farther away. (I haven't cried in a very long time. I didn't know that I still could after all of these years).

~I kept walking until I reached a lake nearby and sat down. I looked at my reflection and saw my mark on my shoulder. I shivered at the thought of my past and threw it at the back of my mind. "Ok; time's a wasting". "I need to find a way to get amber back; but how"? "If I was as fast as sonic; I could easily track them down". "you know sonic"? says a voice behind me; making me jump. "you two never give up; do you"? "not really; no". says ashes. "yes I know sonic; how do you know him"? "we met him a while back; but lost contact with them about a week ago". says raven. "along with the rest of his friends". "well; I know them". "they went to go rescue someone named tori". "who's tori"? they both asked. "apparently she's a hedgehog from another Mobius universe that was teleported here and trying to find her way back home". I explained. "wow; sounds like a big problem". "Yeah; I guess so". I said looking down. "so what happened to you"? "what"? "what happened to your sister"? asked raven. I looked away from them. "she was kidnapped; by a shape shifter". "I don't know where they went or how to find them in time". ashes put his hand on my shoulder as I turned back around to look at them. "don't worry; well help you find your sister". "I work alone". I huffed up. "doesn't matter; were still tagging along anyway". "this job requires help and you could really use it right now". I went silent. "Ok fine; you can help me". "but that doesn't mean that I trust you". I spat out while pushing his hand off my shoulder. "Let's just go and get this over with". I said as I run ahead of them. (I'm coming amber. just hang on).

~sophie's point-of-view:~ lost. we are completely lost. "we are lost people; lost". yells out knuckles. "gee.....you think"? I yell back sarcastically. "why are we even rescuing her anyway"? (gasp) we all turned around at tina. "what"? she asked. "what are you saying tina"? "why wouldn't we rescue her"? tina then crossed her arms. "how do we know she needs rescuing"? "that could have been the REAL her". "she could have been pretending this whole time to track us down". "for all we know; she may not even be from another Mobius universe". I then glared at her. "what are you saying; abort the mission"? "I'm saying we got to make a choice". "her or us"? "after all; she tried to BLOW US UP"! "so why help someone like that"? "who betrayed us in the first place"? (woah. deep.) "Tina; you raise a good point". "maybe we should.....". "NO"! I yelled over everyone. "I don't believe this nonsense"! "I trust tori and I KNOW she needs our help". "so I'm going"! "then your going without me". "what"? I asked confused. "if you want to put yourself in danger then fine; go ahead". "but that doesn't mean that you should risk everyone else's safety here and put them all in danger; because you can't accept the truth"! she huffed up and walked away. "I agree with tina". said knuckles walking away as well. before I knew it; one by one; everyone was walking back home. all who was left was sonic; amy; shadow; maria; and me. "sonic; please don't tell me that your giving up too"? "well....". "Oh for goodness sakes sonic"! "your a hero"! "you never quit; NEVER"! "sometimes heroes have to make sacrifices". "for the safety of everyone here; we shouldn't go and risk it if this is a trap". "come one amy". he said pulling her with him. "no; wait"! "sorry sophie". amy said. (some hero). "come on sophie; let's go home". says shadow as he tried to pull me; but I jerked out of his grip. "No". "Tori is in danger and I'm not giving up on her". "And.......THAT'S THAT"! I yell and run off in the opposite direction. (this is not a trap. I know tori is in trouble. I just wished they understood the same way that I do).
