"Put her down."

"Thank you, Y/n. You don't know how much your sacrifice means to me." Doctor Brenner lightly said, with a slight smile. The (C/H) haired girl kept her eyes forward and nodded. "Donating" her blood so they could do whatever with it. It was like a routine for her. Wake up, eat, train, give blood samples, and sleep. A never-ending cycle. She was different. The doctors constantly reminded her of it. She wasn't with the other kids Y/n was locked in a room with reinforced steel doors, nothing but her imagination and magic to keep her company. There was barely any light in the room. The only thing keeping the room from being pitch black was the dim light hanging in the middle of the room. She lay awake dreaming that someone would come to get her out every night for 16 years straight. But she had lost hope the longer time went on.

She slowly got up as the doctors took their needles out of her arms. The man picked Y/n up bridal style and put her in bed before walking out and locking the door. The girl looked around her room. Light Grey walls, a hard bed, and a shelf of books next to her bed.

Since she's been in the lab since she was a kid, they'd let her learn. Other workers called her lucky that they even let her read books. Was she that lucky? Locked in a lab, forced to train with her powers, barely gaining any sleep, waking up early and going to bed late, was that lucky? It Didn't seem like it to her. It was the bare minimum for being trapped somewhere. She had thought about escaping before, but what was the point? She didn't have a place to go, nor friends, and they'd probably find her anyway and kill her.

She got up from her white bed and made her way over to her shelf of books. She took her time getting there because her limbs were so weak. Slowly, she was becoming light-headed. She grabbed a random book from the shelf and sat down against the wall. She dusted the hardcover off and opened the first page. She whispered the writing to herself. It was one of the only times she was able to relax. Reading books and daydreaming. At this point, it was the only thing keeping her alive.

After a while, she smiled as she closed the book. She felt well now. She guessed it also had something to do with her magic because where they had previously poked her had gone away. A bright red was glowing through her veins. It Happened whenever she got cut. It would only hurt for a little and go away soon.

As she got up and put the book in its respective place, she heard screams and things being thrown around from outside the door. The distress sound went off. She had to see what it was. It didn't matter if she got punished. Someone could be hurt, maybe even killed. She put her ear next to the door, it wasn't much use since the doors were so thick, but the cries were so loud. She stepped back away from the door and put her hand out. A red orb of magic came into her palm. She retracted her hand back and pushed it forward. The metal door came flying out. "Pity." She thought, "It looked expensive."

Carefully, she looked out into the hallway. Blood covered the walls and floors of the narrow hall. Children had a dark red liquid pouring out of them. She stepped over a guard who looked like they were about to press the button to release her. But his eyes were sucked back into his head. All The children she saw were dead as she moved down the hall.

She was horrified by what she saw. The lights flickered on and off by no means helping her feeling. She traveled around the lab, looking at the blood smeared everywhere. She was looking for survivors. Anyone that could tell her what happened here. She turned her head to look into a room. Tables were everywhere she looked, and children's bones twisted. It made her sick. Who would do something like that?

She closed her eyes, focusing her power on intensifying the noise vibrations. It only took her a minute until she heard a small scream. She used the noise as a guide, leading her around the lab. Soon, she found herself in front of big white doors. Preparing herself for what she might see, she busted through them.

"Father." She whispered. Her eyes and hands glowed red as she slightly turned her head to the side. "Put her down."
