That Kids, is Why You Don't Trust Ghosts (Intro) NICO
Nico POV
I lay silently awake in my cabin. I looked at the stars that shined brightly in the sky. Will installed a sky light in my cabin saying I needed more sun light, I think I am perfectly fine with out sun light thank you very much.
I need to find a way out of camp, my dad has asked me to go on a mission in the abandoned labyrinth to hunt down a few more souls that escaped through the doors of death. But how am I supposed to leave camp with little Mr. Sunshine on my back twenty four seven.
So now I lay here waiting for mid night to roll by so I can leave this stupid camp behind and steal a few drachmas so I can keep Will the Idiot up to date on where I am and what im doing.
I look over at my glowing red clock to see the digital numbers finally turn too 12:00 am. I throw my covers off and jump into action. I start to gather necessary items for this small mission.
*Time skippidy skip brought to you by Mr. D*
I finally arrive at a non-collapsed entrance to the labyrinth. Why would I go through all this trouble to capture a few souls? Well, my sister, Bianca, is one of them. I plan on talking to her first.
I press on the small mark on the wall to let me through. As I walk in i sense every crook and cranny of the tunnels, one perk of being a son of Hades is my great ability to navigate through underground tunnels, such as the Labyrinth.
I walk quietly though the tunnels loosing track of time as I slowly navigate through the long, winding, tunnels of the Labyrinth. (I am eating olives as I write this.)
I finally sense the presence of my older dead sister.
"Bianca?" I call out and fall silent, waiting for her to answer. I see the faded light of her ghostly form appear from around the corner and stop in front of me.
"Hello Nico, I knew you would come. I need you to go somewhere." She says with a small smile.
"I need you to find Keith-" I cut her off before she could continue another one of her rambles about my twin brother.
"Keith is dead Bianca, you know that. Why-"
"You need to trust me little brother." she said laying a soft, kind hand on my shoulder.
"Just trust me and don't at where you are going." she says to me in a serious tone. I just simply nod my head and let her ghost pull me to the cliff at the end of a large cavern.
"What are you doing?" I ask her as she stands me in front of the edge of the cliff. The heels of my shoes hanging off the ledge.
"Just stand there." she says to me and starts counting down from ten under her breathe.
"...3, 2, 1." she says then gives me a apologetic smile as she roughly shoves me over the edge.
I watch as everything goes pitch black.
That's it, I am never trusting a ghost ever again.
