I sit on the floor, next to the desk.
"You see, he got tired of you. Too bad.
I told you so," she said.
I try to keep my cool and not cry.
Fortunately, I succeed in my attempt.
"Don't pretend I'm not here.
I know you can still hear me.
Ghosts only fade away after being banished by a blessing,
remember?"
"I know that well.
I wasn't trying to ignore you."
"Of course you can't.
After all, you can't ignore your dear little sister, can you?" she replies.
"You're not my sister.
You're just a part of my imagination..."
I say, staring blankly into space.
Imagination, kicking a few stones under the tent, makes a face:
"Sure. Keep hoping, Char.
Oh, here comes daddy."
