After a month many of the mortals still had not gotten over Clarisse and how much of a supposed freak she was.

Clarisse-POV

I sighed in frustration as an idiotic mortal actually thought she could hurt me. I still had to pretend to be mortal though so I faked falling to the floor and fake cried. I looked up through my eyes at the supposed Queen Bee, Clary. She says to everyone that she is a daughter of Aphrodite, but she has never been to camp.

"Watch it freak," she smirked.

As I was about to retort a voice that I would know anywhere called out "Clarisse," Nick Di Angelo was of course at my school.

Yesterday when we IM'd each other he said he would be going to school, but I never imagined he would be coming to mine.

"And just who do you think you think you are you freak," called out Clary. This made me snickers knowing she was about to get it.

After the war I actually opened up some and made friends after the death of one of my siblings. She had died refusing help, and I didn't want to be like that so I made friends outside my cabin.

Nico was actually my best friend and I was his.

We felt the same way when people were too scared to actually talk to each of us so we talked and bonded over this.

Now Nico and I actually gained a lot of confidence from each other. He does not take anyone talking back to him. I smirked as he turned toward Clary and said with a deathly calm voice," I am someone you don't want as your enemy,"Now who are you."

Clary was afraid of Nico,but didn't show it.

"I am Clary Daughter of Aphrodite, now I will ask again who are you pathetic mortal," she sneered.
