When we arrived at the castle the king and queen led us to their sitting room. As I walked I looked around the castle that was all white. When we entered the sitting room me and my grandmothers sat down on the couches while the king and queen offered us something to eat and drink.

"Scones?" The queen asked as she holds out a plate of scones to us.

"Of course." I said and then me and my grandmothers took one.

"Would you guys like a cup of tea?" The king asked.

"Yes please." I said.

The king poured the three of us a cup of tea.

"Thank you your majesties." I said.

"No problem, we're just here to help." The queen said.

As the king and queen sat down they started talking.

"So, about this problem." The king said.

"Yes, what about it?" I asked.

"You have to reveal something bad about your best friend." The king said.

"Patricia? I have to reveal something bad about her." I said.

"Yes, that's the only way." The king said.

"Alright well I don't like her at all. She can act very bougie all the time and it gets annoying." I said.

"Ok. Just close your eyes and then you'll be back." The king said.

"Ok goodbye grannys I'll miss you guys." I said as I gave both of them a hug.

"We'll miss you too my darling." My paternal grandmother said.

"Love you sweetie." My maternal grandmother said.

"Love you guys too and your majesties thank you very much for helping." I said.

"No problem." The king said.

"We're happy to assist." The queen said.

I closed my eyes for a few seconds and then when I opened I was back at the valley.

"Oh finally I'm back. Time to go tell Patricia everything." I said.

When I walked back to my car I saw Patricia standing there looking at me very angry.

"I'm sorry it took so long. I was enjoying the fresh air." I said.

"I could've left you here." Patricia said very angrily.

"I'm sorry I took so long. Next time I won't take that long I promise." I said.

"There's not gonna be a next time." Patricia said very angrily.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Don't play dumb with me. That I'm very bougie and it gets you annoyed." Patricia said.

"Oh no. Patricia I didn't mean that it was a joke." I said.

"Well then our friendship was a joke too. I never liked you. I hung out with you because I felt bad for you." Patricia said.

"But we're supposed to be going to college together." I said.

"Well then we're not. Just take me to the airport and don't talk to me for the rest of the drive." Patricia said as she got into the car.

I got into the car and drove to the airport.

"Bye Patricia." I said.

Patricia got out of the car, grabbed her stuff, slammed my car door and walked away. When I got to the University of Edinburgh I went up to my dorm which I was supposed to be sharing with Patricia and then I unpacked my things. Now I know how to get out of the mist now. It's to reveal something that will risk something in your life. But we have to move on because we can't hold on to something forever. Three months later I started getting used to college life and made lots of new friends. If Patricia came here we would have each other and not made a single new friend. But now I realized that it's great to make new friends.
