13 years later
I had just graduated from secondary school. I am going to the University of Edinburgh, one of the best universities in Scotland. My parents had a son named Philip Alexander Clark seven years ago and we got a pet shih tzu named Juno just two years ago. My maternal grandmother died 11 years ago from lung cancer and my paternal grandmother died 9 years ago from Alzheimer's. I miss them both very much. But now I am going to explore Scotland with my longtime best friend Patricia. Patricia is my friend that has dark blonde wavy hair and has the same skin tone as me.
"Mum I'm leaving." I said.
"Wait honey." Cindy said before she walked down the stairs.
"Do you have any snacks?" Cindy asked.
"Patricia is packing a full bag of snacks." I said.
"Alright dearie just be careful out there." Cindy said.
"Don't worry mum, I'll be ok." I said.
"Make sure you call me if there's anything wrong. I'll be up there in a jiffy." Cindy said.
"I'll be fine mum, trust me." I said.
"Alright I'll trust you. But first give me a hug." Cindy said, opening up her arms.
I gave my mum a hug.
"Bye mum. Tell dad, Phil and Juno that I said bye." I said.
"Don't worry I will." Cindy said.
I opened up the door and closed it. Then I walked to my car and put my bags in the back seat. Then I got in the driver's seat then drove to Patricia's house. When I arrived at Patricia's house I pulled out my phone and dialed Patricia's number.
"Hello." Patricia said.
"Patricia, I'm outside." I said.
"Ok just give me a sec." Patricia said.
"Ok." I said and then hung up the phone.
Patricia came outside 5 minutes later, put her bags in the back seat and got into the passenger's seat right next to me.
"Ready to go?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm ready." Patricia said.
"Got everything?" I asked.
"Yes, I do." Patricia said.
"Got the snacks?" I asked.
"Yes, of course I do just drive." Patricia said.
"Alright geez." I said as I pulled off.
