It was a tranquility of blackness with swarm of coldness, the moonlight was illuminating brightly through the window dancing its way towards the girl who was scrolling down the application called Wuttped while she was laying peacefully on the soft mattress covered in the fuzzy blanket.

She was analyzing the recommendation list which had hundreds stacks of Wuxia books, she couldn't withstand the temptation and bought nearly all of the books that had a magnificent cover that caught her attention.

The girl couldn't help but frown when she realized that once again this would be another night she would stay up till early morning reading book after book as she didn't feel sleepy. 

She always tried to get rid of this unhealthy habit of hers but even after many times of taking pills and drinking expensive teas, she always ended up the same. She was like a zombie with dark circles under her eyes every morning.

Her eyes fluttered open when her eyes laid up on the most stunning book cover she has ever seen, it was explicitly marvelous with aesthetic details in the fonts and the art.

It felt as if the book was calling out for her, finally she found her treasure, a smirk rose up her lips as she pulled from under her bed a bag of chips and happily tapped on the book.

The story started nice and interesting but after some chapters it is revealed a mistreated lady of a noble family, Li Xue, is being bullied by her step family.

Thanks to her stepmother, who wants to get rid of her as soon as possible, she ends up marrying to an Emperor that was merciless with a heart frozen cold like Antarctica.

The Emperor, Chen Yi Xing, was rumored to look like a beast. Famous for his bad names, each month he would get a commoner to serve his desires and would spill loads of money in the Gamble Houses.

When Li Xue finishes the two days and one night travel to his country named Abelia, the Emperor prepares for his future Empress an enormous banquet that was like a festival with music, foreign dancers, and talented poetry makers. It had the most remarkable guests you could find in all countries.

He planned all this just to show her off in front of the guests because Li Xue was also one of the most famous, beautiful and remarkable ladies in her country or so he has been told of.

That day a mischievous woman which was the lover of the Emperor was flaring with anger and ordered her servants to ruin Li Xue's face. Using that time when the food was being served and when no one would look or care about the lowly servers, as they don't deserve to be looked at, the servants "mistakenly" threw the hot soup on Li Xue's face.

When Chen Yi Xing, the Emperor, saw Li Xue's terrible disfigured red face, he raged and broke off his wedding with Li Xue as she humiliated him in front of the guest. As cold as ice, he didn't even question who did this to her.

He offended her with his words sharper than a sword. When the situation couldn't get any worse, Cheng Yi Xing announced that Li Xue was too ugly to even be his concubine. While he said she was worthless in his eyes, he kept her as a servant and abused her whenever he pleased.

The punishments and disciplinary penalties that Li Xue went through could have easily broke her mind and her soul, but they didn't. The Emperor will continue to treat Li Xue as if she was a mere insect and doesn't hold back to crush her at every situation possible.

Cheng Yi Xing was horrible and inhumane. Yet somehow Li Xue even going through all of that pain and misery, she falls in love with him again and again. While in his heart there was already someone else... that someone, who turned Li Xue's life for worse.

"This is it, I can't read any longer!" The girl shouted from anger. The main characters stupid actions and thoughts made her roll in the bed furiously as she kicked everything off the bed but stopped as her precious chips slipped on the floor. Poor chips they have gone to waste, she thought.

The girl picked them up and regained her composure, Li Xue was the cinnamon bun which she liked, she was so kindhearted and warm unlike other characters she met yet she has such unfair life.

"Author-jie jie (older sister in Chinese) why make her suffer even more," the girl turned to the writer of the book as if the author sees her. Then she remembered to check the description of the book to see what will happen and what does the writer want to achieve by tormenting Li Xue with hardships.

The final words of the description were." Maybe Li Xue will or maybe will not end up happily ever after with Chen Yi Xing."

There was no further explanation, but it was evident that the writer doesn't want to spoil the plot and neither wants to give answers, it's as if she says read and you will find out.

The thing that the girl hated the most was when the main leads undergoes torments of agony so much that their sufferings don't have an end and the main character wouldn't learn a thing from it and would continue to be the weak main character that everyone would step on.

The girl's blood was raging. "Oh no you didn't think I will accept that, take this you author and this!" She took a pillow and started to punch the pillows that were near her.

She couldn't understand how could that bastard treat her bun-bun so bad just because of a thing that was caused by his evil lover, it was so stupid to even think of it.

Li Xue doesn't deserve any of this shit, she already suffered a lot in the past and then the  man whore Emperor rejects her and puts her in a bunch of punishments that influenced whips.

"Oh no you didn't you asshole. I'll kick you in where sun doesn't shine and will rip it off, so it doesn't even see the moon shine." She let a painful howl of anguish.

It wasn't the only time that she felt like this, the girl had overwhelming empathy where she could feel the pain of other people and even the characters in the book or movies. It was a power that made her feel worthless.

Curse after curse escaped her mouth, more like the words willingly jumped out. But then some bright light appeared, and her soul left her body. "Wait, where am I going?" She was panic stricken as she felt a weight come off her. She broke into cold sweat.

She tried to catch onto something, but her hand turned invisible as she got numb and fell into a whirlpool of blackness. What she remembered was seeing an ancient girl's head in that veil of darkness, which freaked her out even more.

She was sure it was the afterlife and the girl was her companion, "Save me Lord, Yaoi God what about you please save this poor Fujoshi, if not you then Wuttped perhaps please save me, I'm begging you save this comrade." She bawled her eyes out.

Suddenly a voice appears out of nowhere, when the girl turned over the mysterious woman who appeared before with only a head was floating in the air. "Seeing you black-lashing and pointing at others' deeds, criticizing how dumb they are, let's see how good you are then. Have fun dear!"

"Which bitch are you, come here I'll grab you by the hair and you will see how it is to mess with me." She blurted out as the head challenged her, but realization hit upon her as the trap to lure disrespectful words from her may make her go to hell.

"Oh no, I take back my words sorry for not keeping my mouth shut it was not nice of me." She apologized as her legs started to tremble more and more. A sweat scrolled on her forehead, what if she decides to torture her by cutting her body into pieces or eat her alive, she doesn't know what the strange body was capable of doing.

A loud laughter filled the space, "Humans always act mighty at the beginning and when I appear they get terrified to the point where they can't even talk normally." The head said as it changed the form into a man that had the body of a beastly animal and horns.

He got near the girl and raised her chin up to look at his face, she was trying her best to avoid looking at him but he was so strong she couldn't withstand it anymore.

Seeing his face made her feel nauseous, parts of her mind started to disappear as they made eye contact. She felt like she was losing herself gradually.

But what he said was true, she always criticized people whenever they did dumb things or were slow but when it came to her, she wasn't much different from others. She felt hideous at her actions, but it wasn't the time nor place to reason with herself, it was a life or death situation she was in.

She mustered up as much strength she had remaining and spoke. "So you want to challenge me, then why you want to kill me off without letting me play your game."

The beast started to howl in laughter. "Unexpected of you human, you will be granted a chance then. Whether you live or die it's all up to you that's your mission." He looked at her with a serious look on his face and her body went limp.

The Mission for her to prove herself starts now!
