King Tyler's POV

Right now I am sitting on my bed with my new born baby girl. Me and my mate Damon are so happy that she was born.
"So how are my babies doing?" Asked Damon as he came and sat down on the bed.
"Well if you're talking about me then I'm fine. As for your other baby, she's fast asleep."
"What should we name her?"
"Do you wanna pick her name?"
"You'll let me pick?"
"Of course. I just had a baby and I think it's your turn to work a little."
"Thanks Ty. Hmmmm, how about Zehira? It means careful and cautious."
"I think it's a beautiful name. Now that that's over, why don't we go to sleep?"
"Anything you want, meine liebe."
I put Zehira into her crib and we went to our room. We fell asleep thinking of our family that is just getting started.

Later that night

WAHHHH WAHHHH
"Mmmmm, turn it off." Damon whispered
"It's not a clock, it's the baby. Now let me go I have to go check on the baby."
"Stay."
"If you don't want to part then just come with me. I'm sure Zehira would want to see you."
"Fine. But only for my baby girl."
We got up from bed and walked to Zehira's room. When we walked in, we saw Zehira bawling her eyes out. Instinctively, I pulled her close to me. I started rocking her hoping that it'll help but she was still crying.
"Shh shh shh shh. It's okay don't cry." I said but she was still crying
"I don't understand, why are you crying?" Damon asked
All of a sudden, she stopped crying and pointed to the window. That's weird. She hasn't opened her eyes yet but she knows where the window is.
"Damon, look out the window."
"Why?"
"Because even though she hasn't opened her eyes she still knows where the window is."
When I explained it like that, he didn't argue. He went to the window and opened it.
"I don't see anything. Maybe it was just a coincidence that she was pointing to the window."
"Maybe. Or maybe not. Please, just look one more time. For me?" I said as I gave him my puppy face.
"Fine. But afterwards we are going back to bed. Ok?"
"Ok." I said as I put Zehira in her crib.
He looked out the window for a little bit then started turning back towards me. However, he stopped and looked back out the window.
"Okay. Zehira pointing to the window was definitely not a coincidence. Get close to the wall. Now!"
As Damon pushed me to the wall, something crashed through the window. When I sniffed the air, I smelled someone I never wanted to smell again.
"Kayne! What are you doing on my territory!?" I asked
'Well, it's good to see you too King Tyler. How has life been since you stripped me of my alpha title?' Kayne's black wolf said through the mindlink
"I thought I asked what you were doing on my territory. NOW TELL ME!"
'You took everything from me, and I'm here to do the same to you. So say goodbye to your daughter cause you will never see her again.'
When he said that, he went straight for Zehira. Right when he went for Zehira, my wolf took over to protect her. Before he could touch her, I intercepted him. I soon found out that that was a bad idea because Zehira started crying. I looked behind me to see why and it broke my heart. She had a scar running from the top of her right eyebrow to her jaw.
Enraged that he hurt my baby, I attacked him. All I saw was red. However, he took advantage of my rampage and slashed my back. Now Damon, being the protective mate that he is, came in front of me and attacked Kayne. Because Damon was in the same state of mind as me, he was also beaten by Kayne.
We could do nothing but watch as our baby was being carried out by our worst enemy. I cried and cried over the loss of my baby but Damon promised me that some day we will get her back.

Kayne's POV

I'm so happy right now. I got revenge on those people for what they did. This doesn't mean that my anger is gone though. I guess the baby will have to do.
WAAAAAH WAAAAH!
"SHUT UP! You are a worthless thing, therefore you don't need a voice."
I then used my claw and slashed her throat. It wasn't deep enough to kill her, just deep enough to injure her vocal chords.
"I just thought of a perfect name for you. Adonis Vernalis. It means bitter memories which to will have a lot of. I'll make sure of that."
With that said, I took her to my home where she will live from now on.
