He looked frightening as can be

The others were so scared

With a big hook nose and crooked teeth

He'd walk by and they'd just stare

His hands were missing fingers

And he had one giant eye

His hair was long and stringy

And with leather wings, he'd fly

All the others in his class

Stayed very far away

But even though he looked so mean

All he wanted was to play
