26 🗡 Equal Sign (END)
Hate'll paralyze your mind
Gotta see the other side
It costs ya nothin' to be kind
Not so different you and I
Lookin' for love in a different light
Until we find that equal sign
-Equal Sign (J-Hope)
"I want to meet your boss!" The voice was calm yet commanding, and Hoseok was taken aback-it was a woman. He scrutinized her more closely, noting the curves that confirmed his realization. Her eyes, the only visible part of her face, were sharper than daggers, radiating intensity.
"Who are you?!" J-Hope demanded with authority, his patience wearing thin. His mind raced with thoughts. Who was this woman, and why was she so desperate to see Jungkook? He knew he had to handle this carefully, but he couldn't help but feel a spark of curiosity mixed with irritation.
"I'm not going to tell you that! Just take me to your boss!" she spat back rudely, as if Jungkook had kidnapped her childhood love.
The woman's insolence was definitely getting on his nerves. Hoseok exhaled sharply, trying to calm his rising rage. "He's busy right now. If it's urgent, you can tell me, or you can meet him at the headquarters tomorrow."
"Take me to your boss, or else-" Her voice was impatient, and Hoseok was shocked by her audacity. She was actually threatening him? One of the six Dark Nebula leaders?!
"Or else what? Do you even know where you are? I could bury you here alive, and no one would ever find out. I'm letting you go because you're a woman. Don't come back!" His voice was icy cold, a clear warning.
She burst into a dry laugh, as if the Dark Nebulas were a bunch of jokers. "Try me if you can!" Her eyes gleamed with defiance, sharper than ever.
Hoseok's eyes narrowed, assessing the situation. This woman was not only bold but seemed capable. Her presence here, and her audacity to threaten him, suggested she had either a death wish or some significant backup.
J-Hope had had enough. "Boys! Drag her out of here!" Three men approached and grabbed her arms. The woman responded with swift, brutal efficiency. She kneed one of the men in the groin, elbowed another in the face, and punched the third in the stomach. Within moments, all three men were down, groaning in pain. Hoseok's jaw dropped at her impressive combat skills.
Without warning, she attacked Hoseok. He dodged her initial strikes, but her relentless assault left him no room for complacency. After several exchanged blows, Hoseok finally managed to capture her, pinning her hands behind her back. The woman struggled fiercely to break free. "LEAVE ME! YOU'LL REGRET THIS!" she yelled.
"Oh, really?" Hoseok scoffed, feeling a premature sense of victory.
Before he knew it, she twisted her body, leveraging her leg to trip him. He fell hard on his back, and she landed on top of him. They rolled on the concrete in a fierce tussle.
Hoseok, realizing he had severely underestimated her, fought desperately to regain control. Her strength and agility were surprising, and her determination was fierce. She delivered a sharp elbow to his ribs, making him grunt in pain. In response, he managed to wrap his legs around hers, trying to immobilize her. But she was too quick. She twisted again, slipping free from his grasp and landing a solid punch to his jaw. The force of the blow stunned him for a moment. With a final burst of strength, she broke free from his hold completely. Hoseok, his body aching from the struggle, had no choice but to let go.
Determined not to let her get away, Hoseok pushed himself to his feet and chased after her. She moved with incredible speed and agility, darting through the hallway. Hoseok's heart pounded as he closed the distance, every muscle in his body straining to catch her.
"Stop!" he shouted, but she didn't even glance back. The situation was escalating far beyond what he had anticipated. This woman was clearly more than she appeared, and Hoseok knew he couldn't let her escape without answers.
Undeterred, he lunged at her again, managing to grab her arm. They struggled at the doorway, each trying to overpower the other. Her movements were wild and desperate, yet controlled and precise. Hoseok could see the determination in her eyes; she wasn't going to give up easily.
Just as it seemed she might break free again, Jin appeared, running towards them. He quickly assessed the situation and moved to assist. "Hey! Stop her!" J-hope panted from behind, still catching his breath.
Jin acted quickly. He blocked the woman from entering the house. She jumped, using the door hinge as a support, and kicked Jin in the stomach. "Oww!" he groaned, stumbling forward. Despite the pain, Jin couldn't help but admire her bravery. She dared to challenge the leaders of Bulletproof.
The woman scoffed and made her way inside. She stopped in her tracks when Jimin pointed a gun at her. "You made it this far? Impressive! But now I doubt if you'll leave here alive." He chuckled.
She backed off a few steps, her determination unwavering. Her eyes were sharp and fearless. Hoseok and Jin grabbed her again, holding her captive. "Leave me! Let go!" she demanded.
"We will. But first, let's see your face." Namjoon stepped forward. She shook her head vigorously, but it was of no use. Jimin approached, his gun still aimed at her, and pulled off her mask. Everyone's eyes widened at the sight. She was stunningly beautiful, her fierce gaze piercing through them.
Her lips were thin but perfectly shaped, a delicate rose-petal hue contrasting sharply against her intense expression. Her high, pointed nose added an aristocratic elegance to her striking features. Her bangs, slightly damp with sweat, framed her face in soft, unruly strands that only enhanced her fierce beauty. Her deep brown hair cascaded in waves down her back, glinting in the light as it moved.
Her curves were undeniable, accentuating her athletic grace and adding a tantalizing allure to her presence. At approximately 5'7", her stature was both commanding and graceful, a perfect blend of strength and femininity. Her skin, smooth and flawless, held a subtle glow even in the dim light of the hallway.
But it was her eyes that truly captivated. Sharp and intense, they burned with a spark of challenge, radiating defiance and determination. They were the eyes of someone who had faced countless battles and emerged stronger each time. Her gaze pierced through the room, making everyone else momentarily forget to breathe.
"I said let go! Take me to Jungkook!" she shouted, her voice ringing with a mix of anger and desperation. Her entire demeanor exuded an aura of danger and unpredictability, yet there was an undeniable magnetism about her-a deadly beauty that was impossible to ignore.
"Shut your mouth!" Suga barked, irritation clear in his voice. He would have punched her if she wasn't a woman, but Suga had enough ethics not to raise a hand against women, no matter the cause.
"I won't. JUNGKOOK!! Where the hell are you??!!" She continued struggling and shouting for the boss of Dark Nebula.
Hearing his name being shouted, Jungkook came down from his room, closely followed by Taehyung. "What's the matter?" His voice cut through the tension, commanding attention.
Jungkook's usual composed demeanor faltered for a moment. His eyebrows shot up, and his jaw dropped slightly, unable to hide his astonishment. His eyes, wide and expressive, reflected a mix of shock and recognition. It was clear he knew the woman standing defiantly before him. His lips parted as if to speak, but no words came out immediately. The sudden appearance of her had clearly thrown him off balance, revealing a rare vulnerability in the otherwise formidable leader of Dark Nebula.
The Boss of Dark Nebula locked eyes with the unknown woman, while everyone else in the room seemed to forget to breathe. Her presence was a shock, a ripple of unease spreading through the room.
"Y/N??!!"
