"Dalila!" Ragna ran into Bofur's home the next morning.
"Ragna? What is it? Is something wrong?" Dalila asked concerned.
"No! Everything is wonderful!" She exclaimed falling on the couch and twisting a strand of hair.
"Oh really? Who is he? Tell me everything!"
"Well....he's tall, for a dwarf of course. He's sweet. His eyes, I get lost in them. And he says I'm pretty, beautiful, gorgeous even!"
"What's his name?! You can't leave me like that!"
"His name is...."
"Dalila, we better get going. The elf is waiting." Fili said walking out of the bedroom.
"Elf?" Ragna questioned.
"I'll tell you when I get back. But you have totell me his name. Deal?" 
"Deal." Ragna hugged her.

Fili saddled two ponies for him and Dalila.
"Here, ride Maggie. She's very gentle." Fili said.
"Thank you." Dalila climbed on the pony with Fili's help. They rode to the inn to meet Legolas.

"It's about time. I was starting to think you left me." Legolas said.
"I would never leave you." Fili said sarcastically.
"Of course. No one would think about leaving me."
"Dalila left you for me." Fili smirked. Legolas glared at him.
"Fili keep quiet." Dalila told him.

-at Radagast's-

"Can you help us?" Fili asked him after telling him the story.
"You said that you started feeling symptoms after he gave you the tea?" Radagast asked Dalila.
"Yes."
"My dear, I think I know the problem. But let me check first." Radagast put his hand on Dalila's stomach and said words in a twisted tongue.
"What are you doing to my child?" Legolas said putting his hand on Radagast's arm.
"Let him be." Fili told Legolas.
"The nut job could be killing it!"
"Radagast practically raised Dalila. He would never hurt her or her family." Fili assured him.
"Legolas, Radagast would never do anything like that. He's seeing if I'm actually pregnant and if the child's alright." Dalila told him.
"Alright." Legolas let go of Radagast's arm. Radagast finished his chant.

He looked at Dalila with sad eyes.
"What?" She asked.
"My dear, you aren't with child. The herbs he gave you are still in your system. When you pass them completely you will no longer have these syptoms. I actually have the same herbs but I use them as a fertilizer for my plants. The good news is that the herbs will heal your uterus and you can have children." Radagast explained. Dalila hugged Legolas and cried. Fili stared at them shocked.

"I'm sorry Legolas. I'm sorry I lead you on and got your hopes up."
"It's okay. This isn't your fault. My Ada shouldn't have done this. But I am happy that you can have children later in life." Legolas said. Tears slid down his cheek. He was excited for the baby. Fili went to walk out but Radagast grabbed his arm.
"I'll be going now. I know you love him Dalila. I won't stand in your way. I'll always be here for you. And I hope someday a woman will make me happy like you make him." Legolas said.
"Thank you. You've been very kind to me. And in a way I'm grateful your Ada did this."
"Me too." Legolas smiled and went to the door. He stopped in front of Fili.
"Take care of her. You're a very lucky man." He told him.
"I will. You don't have to tell me that." Fili replied. Legolas nodded and left for Mirkwood.

Dalila went to Fili and hugged him.
"I have mixed feelings. I'm sad I'm not pregnant. You don't understand. The moment you find out you're having a baby you fall in love. But I'm happy that I can have children and that they'll all be with you one day. I use to not want children. But now that I sort of experienced the feeling I do. I want us to have our own family together one day."
"We will. I'm sorry about this. I truly am. But this has been the best day of my life. I know that we will have a family one day." Fili smiled brightly at her.
"Thank you Radagast."
"No problem my dear."
"Yes, thank you Radagast. We'll be off now. Drop by anytime." Fili waved.
"Indeed I will. Farewell!" He called to them as they left.
