"Ash!" her shrill laughter echoed through the streets, causing many people to turn and look at the three teens. There were far more people than there was an hour earlier, due to the fact it was almost noon and everyone was awake, "That'ss wrong!"
"Well it's true!" he countered lightly, slurping a milkshake, "Lar was bald at one point in time. That's why I, sometimes anyway, call him Cue-Ball."
"Ash," Lar's face was the colour of a tomato, "Shut up before I tell her about last week."
"You wouldn't."
Lar grinned and looked at Jade, "Last week Ash set his butt on fire."
Despite the seriousness of the matter, Jade fell to the sidewalk in a giggling mess, choking out a single, "How?!" between gasps, to which Lar replied with, "He did say he was a hot piece of ass."
"Did not!" Ash was glowering at the blonde, "It was a complete accident involving Toxikita, a pineapple and that Lava Pit I battled that red Ninja in last year! You're just trying to cover up the fact that you're a horrible friend."
"How so?" Lar countered with a giant grin.
"You didn't try to help extinguish my butt, you just sat and laughed."
Jade barked a really, really loud laugh at this, and stood to her feet, "Before I find out any more unneeded information about the two of you, we should keep moving. Who wants to go to Mega Monsster Amusement Park?"
"That's still open?!" Ash's eyes widened, "You'd think since the OverLord broke NinjaGo that that'd be closed down or destroyed as well."
"Nope," she shook her head and began walking, "It didn't close, there'ss jusst lesss people going there."
"Well then let's go!" Lar bounded up ahead of the two, leading the way to the ancient park.
"Aye wait," she skidded to a stop, "I need to stop at my housse, firsst. Meet you guys there?"
"Why can't we come with?" Ash asked, placing his hands on his hips like a woman.
Jade glared at him, "Fine. You can come with. Over here," she led the way to the middle of the street.
"Wait a minute..." Ash suddenly became very wary of the situation, "Where, exactly, is your house?"
"Down here," Jade pulled up a manhole cover and jumped below ground level, "Well come on, I don't have all day!"
Ash and Lar were slightly disgusted in going down there, so instead of jumping willingly down the two slowly climbed down the old rusted ladder provided, complaining the entire way down it, "Must we go this way?"
"I didn't invite either of you morons to come along, therefore shut up before I rip your mouths off," she snapped, sloshing through the knee-deep water.
"Jade, there are dry paths to the sides," Lar pointed out.
"Oh, but what fun is that?" she asked innocently, before jumping over a steep drop off. Ash and Lar's screams of horror could barely be heard over the joyful screams from Jade, "It'ss like a waterssssssssssliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!"
The two boys looked at each other and shuddered, but followed suit by walking on the not-so-dry walkway. After some time, Ash groaned, "Lar, I think we're lost."
"We've been walking in a straight line," the blonde pointed out, "How can we get lost?"
"Our tour guide decided to use the water system as a water park!" Ash stressed, waving his hands around so fast they turned to smoke. After a moment, they returned to their natural solid state, "Where is she anyway?"
"Behind you," Jade's whisper scared both boys out of their wits, and only regained their lost wits when the laughter echoed through the labyrinth of tunnels, "You should've seen your faces!"
"Not funny!" Ash snapped, clearly not amused with the scare, "Can we hurry this along and get out of here?"
Jade leaned against the wall and dumped some water from her black boot, then put it back on her foot and proceeded to do the same with her left boot, "Yeah yeah, just let me get the water out of my boots and we can go inside."
It was when she said this that the two noticed she was not leaning against a wall, but a large stone door with a crack down the center, "Jade?"
"Yesss?" she stood upright again, "What Ash?"
Lar stepped in to explain, "You're leaning against a doorway."
"I know," she flashed a grin, shoved Ash into the water behind him and dashed inside the door.
Ash attempted to climb back onto dry land, only managing to get his upper half out of water, and scowled at Lar, who was rolling on the floor laughing, "Lar control your girlfriend!"
With a grunt, Lar reached down and pulled Ash up by the scruff of his shirt, "She's not my girlfriend, Ashtray, so shut up and let me work my magic, alright? We'll have the Ninja come running to he rescue soon enough once they hear about her dating a 'rogue Master' and all that," and then he dropped the gray haired teen back into the running water, "So shut up about it and don't rush me."
Ash nodded and flung himself from the water, following Lar inside as he shook himself off, "Never been inside a Serpentine lair before."
"Who're you two?" there was a small voice at Lar's elbow, and when he looked he found a small orange Constrictai scout glaring at him, "Are you Jade's boyfriends?"
"No," Ash stated angrily, wringing out the bottom of his shirt.
"Are you two dating each other?" Lar whipped around to come face to face with another scout, only from the Hypnobrai Tribe.
"Ew!" both boys looked at each other and stepped back a step, shuddering.
"That means that you two are her friendss," Ash found that there was another Hypnobrai at his elbow, only this one he recognized as Skales' son, "Right?"
"Yesss, Jr, that'ss right," Jade's voice floated across the room, and Lar turned to look at her. She'd changed clothing, now wearing a different dark blue tank top and cut off jeans that went to her knees. There was a yellow duffel bag slung over her shoulder, "Okay, Jr, can you tell Mother and Father that I am going over to a friend's house for a few days? I cannot sseem to find either one here."
"Okay, Jade," he nodded happily, "When will you be back?"
"I don't know," she walked over to her younger brother, "But I will come back ssoon, okay?" he nodded and hugged her waist. Smiling, Jade patted his head, "Gotta go now, kiddo," Jade's eyes landed on her companions, "Let's go you idiotss."
As they followed her to the door, Lar couldn't help but check her out, She's got a nice pair of legs on her... to which another voice in his head snapped back, Shut up. Stick to the plan. Get close to her, take the Blade and use her as ransom to destroy the Ninja once and for all.

"We should never follow her underground again," Ash grumbled as they entered Mega Monster Amusement Park, "Her idea of fun is most definitely not fun."
"Zip it and keep up," Lar ushered him along, and froze, "Where is she?!"
Ash couldn't tell if the panic was genuine or not, "Don't look at me! You're the one trying to get into her pants."
"Because Cryptor told me to!" Lar snapped quietly, "You know just as well as I do that I've no choice but to do this, quit teasing me."
"Is that why you've been on edge so much in the past hour?" Ash clasped his hand on Lar's shoulder, all while trying to avoid people in the thick crown, "Calm down, we don't have to hurt her... If you've actually got feelings for her that Neuro so kindly voiced for you," the last sentence was rushed out so it sounded somewhat like, 'IfyouhavefeelingsforherthatNeurosokindlyvoicedforyou.' and Lar just barely understood the guy.
"Okay, you know," Lar rocked back on his heels and stopped at a cotton candy stand, standing elbow to elbow with a black haired guy his age, "I can't tell if I actually love her or not if I've only known her a day. But, between you and me, I've taken a bit of a liking to Jade."
"Jade?" the stranger to the left turned towards them and dropped his cotton candy in shock, "You do have her!"
"Cole!" Lar scratched the back of his neck, "Cole... I thought we were on nice, civilized terms."
"We were. Until you took something that belonged to us!" he snapped, flexing his fingers, "Where's Jade?"
"That's none of your concern, Rocky-Boy."
The three teens turned towards the newcomer, "Griffin?!"
"Yeah?" he grinned, leaning against the counter, "What of it. You're not the only Elemental Master who likes this place," which the others took as, I'm following you around to keep an eye on Jade.
"Where is she?" Cole demanded again, only to get silence from the other three, "At least say if she's alive!"
"Of course she is!" Griffin placed his hands on his hips, "We're not that murderous!"
"Towards people we like, anyway," Ash finished the thought, "Which doesn't include you, so... How would you like to die?"
Lar slapped Ash, "We're at an amusement park: go amuse yourself. Away from us. Shoo," he shooed the Smoke Master away and turned back to Cole, "First tell me why you're all up and arms about Jade."
"How do I know I can trust you? Griffin, I suppose isn't that bad... But you..." Cole trailed off, shaking his head.
Lar closed his eyes and sighed, then reopened them, "You don't, okay? I wouldn't trust me either, but if you tell me I'll tell you where she is."
"She's got a Techno-Blade, alright?" Cole rubbed his eyes, "We need it, and her, to defeat the OverLord once and for all."
Suddenly Lar grabbed the front of Cole's sweatshirt, pulling him closer to hiss in his ear, "You can't defeat the OverLord. We've tried to get rid of him, but he's ruthless..."
Freaked, Cole backed up, "What do you mean?"
"He's taken over Chen's place," Griffin muttered, "There's Droids everywhere on that property, in the woods... Just waiting for someone to step out of line."
"We need to protect that Blade," Cole muttered, quickly devising a plan, "I got it! Lar, Griffin, you need to help me. Please."
"Depends," Lar raised an eyebrow.
"Give me Jade. We can protect her and the Blade. It's safe on The Bounty, she'll be safe," he looked Lar in the eye, "I know you want her safety."
I have to make this easier for the both of us, Lar thought grimly, "I don't care about her safety. Or her. I was just following orders that were given to me by Cyptor. Take the half breed, I don't care about her. She thinks I love her but I don't."
Griffin's jaw dropped, but he said nothing. Instead, a sharp gasp could be heard, and Lar turned around to see that what he'd said worked. Jade was almost in tears as she angrily brushed past the blonde and grabbed Cole's wrist, "C'mon, let's go."
When they were out of sight, Griffin found his voice, "What the hell did you do that for, dude?!"
"I had no choice!" Lar yelled, stalking off into the crowd, "I knew she was back there, and she'd have never left willingly with Cole! Serpentine hate the Ninja! It was the only thing that would have worked."
"Emotionally breaking a girl is not a solution, blondie," Griffin had no trouble keeping pace with Lar, "There were other options."
"Like what?"
"Tell her the situation about the job you had," the two stopped at the docks, "She'd have understood."
"How do you know?" Lar turned his hard glare on the older Master, "You don't know her."
"I know that she was in love with you," Griffin whispered, running a hand through his already windblown hair, "Neuro has been in her head. You were the first one to accept her for her, rough past and all. And that Monastery and all it's inhabitants was the first real home and first actual family."
Lar blinked and Griffin was gone as if he was a figment of his imagination the entire time, there to only make him more miserable. He thought Griffin left by speed, but when Lar looked around he saw a glowing maroon dragon out in the distance.
Alrighty, this story is horrible. To many plot-holes. I'm sorry for allowing you to read this.
