When you look at the Generation of Miracles, what do you see? Some see a generation of talented ball players, some might see a group of prodigies, but what some might not see, or notice is that this group of miracles also represent the colors of the rainbow, also known as ROYGBIV. But something is missing from this rainbow of players. Where are the players of orange and indigo? Where are these two forgotten players of Teikō Junior High?

Without these two colors, the rainbow can't be truly be completed. Ryōsuke Aikohoji, is one of these forgotten players. His color is Indigo, the long forgotten color that is out shadowed between blue and violet/purple.

With a personality that's hard to read, Aikohoji is as mysterious as the Phantom Sixth Player, Kuroko Tetsuya. He barely speaks, but when he does he's soft spoken and polite, do to living with his aunt, uncle and four younger cousins after his parents died in a car accented when he was ten.

The one person he gets along with the most out of the Generation of Miracles is his fellow forgotten miracle Shou Orenjiro. The two are the only ones who knew each other before attending Teikō Junior High. The two grew up together and have what people call a brother-like relationship. Wherever one is, the other isn't too far behind them. Another member of the GoM Aikohoji seems to get along with and looks up to is Atsushi Murasakibara. Do to the possibility of having similar personalities. The two have even been mistaken to be brothers by other people who don't know them.

Now that everyone from the Generation of Miracles have graduated from Teikō Junior High and are heading to high school, the two brothers have to separate from each other and go to different schools, but of course these two still find a way to stay in reach of each other. The two schools are just kiddy-corner from each other and are rival schools as well. Ryūzaki Academy and Sakurazaki Academy. Orenjiro attending Sakurazaki Academy while Aikohoji attends Ryūzaki Academy.

Now in their first year in high school the Generation of Miracles, the Phantom Sixth Player and the Forgotten Miracles start their battle to see who will come out on top as the best in Japan.
