Chapter 8-Wrath and Fear.
"Name. Amrita Vinay Sahay... Age 24 years. Born on 18th April... She is a doctor, currently working in G.S. Lifecare hospital from past one year."
"Tell me more. I already know this much." Nakul demanded.
"Yes sir. They have reshifted here 12 years ago..."
"Reshifted? What do you mean?" He asked being confused.
"Sir. Mr. Vinay had a brother."
"Had a brother, what happened to him?"
"Sir, he and his wife died.
Mr. Vinay's family was having a lot of financial crisis that time so they shifted to some other place for two years but they reshifted here afterwards as Mr. Vinay again landed up with a different job this time in Suri Industries and he's been working here since then." The man explained.
"And Sir. He has been looking after his niece too." He added lastly.
"Is she I mean Ms. Amrita engaged or?"
"No sir. There's nothing listed anything as far as I know."
"Where do they stay?" Nakul asked him another.
"Sir! Here is the file and every detailed information in it is mentioned." He carefully placed it on the desk.
"Good. Very well done. You'll get your money soon."
"Thank you sir. I'll now take your leave." The man said before leaving while he just nodded at him.
After he left, Nakul picked up the file and opened it. It had all the necessary information he wanted.
The place where they lived was near to the playground where he met her everyday after his school.
He wanted to confirm his doubt.
And now he was absolutely sure that he had finally found his lost friend or his future wife.
He was never into love but he knew that he had something towards her which he couldn't phrase it after all she was a gem of a person and what all he needed in a wife was all she is.
Maybe it was the stupidest idea or the smartest move, he didn't knew and neither cared for it.
Having no other option to make his 'small shot' never leave him was to marry her.
Currently nothing was more important than him.
Aakash was not in a control of any babysitter but he believed in her as he had seen that potential of controlling him two days before when he had been to that hospital and so nothing striked him for that moment.
He was already missing his nephew but now he had many things to do. He had to talk to his mother. He had to talk to Mr. Vinay and his wife and also had to take Amrita's consent.
------------------------------
Her eyes flickered as she opened them. She yawned and tried to locate where she was.
All she saw was a hand which rested on her arm.
Last thing that she remembered was that she slept alone after crying a lot so who was this intruder now, lying next to her on her parent's bed?
As she shifted more, her eyes landed on her Dida who was sleeping beside her.
She rubbed her eyes once again and looked down to see her best friend snoring on the floor.
She smiled slightly.
"Good morning." She heard Amrita's sweet voice.
"Good morning, Dida." She greeted her back.
Amrita got up and sat up straight.
"When did you come?" Ambar conferred softly.
"Last night..when you were asleep....
You know Ambar... I'm a lot mad at you, right now?" She said, sounding serious.
"Dida... Actually.."
"Let me finish Ambar." She scolded her strictly.
"Firstly, you came here without telling any of us.. and then you slept here without closing the door properly". She half yelled.
"I'm sorry." Ambar apologised.
"But you know what I felt bad about that you didn't even consider telling me that whatever happened yesterday at home affected you." Amrita continued.
"Since when did you started hiding your feelings from me?"
"Dida, I'm really very Sorry. Please forgive me.." She said it again and this time hugging her.
"Okay.. I do.. But I don't want this to repeat again." Amrita hugged her back.
"Okay..." She replied still resting on her shoulder.
"Ambar, actually I want to tell you something." She tried talking but was cut off by a loud yawn by none other than Vashisht.
"Finally. you're up!" Ambar said looking down.
"Yes what time is it?" He asked waking up.
"9 o'clock." She replied.
"Oh my God, 9 o'clock. Oh shit.. Leena would be angry." Ambar scowled hearing him.
"Ambar I think we should leave too." Amrita got down from the bed
"Yes I'll drop you both then I'll go to Leena's house." Vashisht said.
"No need, we'll go by ourselves. You go and see your girlfriend." Ambar spatted angrily.
"Shut up Fatso. No arguments." He scolded her while she frowned at his words.
Vashisht looked up at Amrita who too had a displeased look as he called Ambar, 'Fatso' once again.
"Sorry Dida." He instantly apologised.
"I'll be waiting for you both in the car downstairs." He murmured and left them to freshen up..
"Ambar why don't you tell him?" Amrita asked.
"Dida please. You know, I can't and I don't want to tell him."
"But why?" She asked her.
"I'm not the one for him, Dida."
"Stop this Amy, please stop considering yourself unworthy. You are a jewel." She replied looking in her eyes.
"Please Dida. I have talked about this before but I don't want to discuss it again please." She said moving away from her.
"Okay." Amrita stepped out understanding that this wasn't the time to talk.
As they both sprinted towards the car, Vashisht opened the passenger door.
Amrita who had already occupied one side of the backseat eyed Ambar who ignored his gesture and sat beside her sister.
"What? Why are you doing this?" He turned to give her an irritating look.
"What? I want to sit beside Dida." Ambar stated as a matter of fact.
Vashisht angrily shuttered the door and ignited the engine. Throughout the ride, he was quite pissed with her behaviour of ignoring him.
When they reached, she got down quickly and didn't even thank him for the lift which irked him even more than before.
Amrita rolled her eyes at their attitude and walked inside following Ambar.
"Where were you both?" A roaring angry voiced boomed as soon as they entered.
They looked up to see Sandhya and Vinay with enraged faces covered in wrath.
"I asked you, where were you both?" Sandhya repeated her line once again.
"Aunty! we were at my house". Ambar replied slowly.
"Your house. Of course." She scoffed.
"This is a so called rest house where you can come and stay whenever you want, isn't it Ambar?" She remarked sarcastically.
"Ambar, go to your room." Amrita said pushing her while Ambar hesitantly took small steps.
Amrita repeatedly glared back at her parents.
Where was this concern when she tried calling both of them to inform, when they were busy socialising.
"See. Vinay. This is all your fault." Sandhya pointed out to her husband.
"Enough of this." Amrita shouted.
"I don't know why you both act so inhuman towards Ambar. What has she done that you both loathe her?" Questioned Amrita looking directly in her mother's eyes.
Sandhya couldn't reply as she turned numb.
"That's none of your business." Vinay snapped at his daughter.
"You better go to your room before things turn out to be worst." Vinay said lastly while she left in agony.
Vinay turned to his wife who had tears in her eyes
"Vinay, We've to do something before I Iose our daughter too."
